we were surprised to be given a complimentary appetizer that's a complete set of vegetables, bread and hummus - all fresh! They give a large portion for appetizer, we did not even finish the whole thing. The main courses are even better, we went out the restaurant full and satisfied
Food taste was good, but the prices is too much specially the portions are small for one person in case you ordered meal, you can order per kilo as well

The amazing story of Bu Tafish.
Even if you are just passing by Abu Dhabi, you have to visit the restaurant. Look for the story of the owner and his restaurant. It's one of the best example of how great is this country and how well are treated all the guests that are coming in UAE.
Once you will enter the restaurant, take some time and check the pictures on the wall and see all the famous people which have visited the restaurant. You will have the feeling that you are in a historical site.
And all of them didn't just passed there because of the juicy story but also because of the great food they serve. If you are a seafood lover than you've reached the right place. With so many choices on the Menu, it will be hard to makeup your mind. If you will ask me, than I would recommend you the hamour fillet. It's very nice cooked and is full of taste. I wouldn't recommend the hamour eggs, which I personally find it to be repugnant. But it might be just a matter of personal taste.
The place is clean in general but I think it's about time to make some restorations works.
The staff are extremely kind but if you don't speak Arabic than their interaction with you will be limited.
Overall is a very nice place which in my opinion reached the time milestone which requires a boost on all chapters.
At any case, I am planing to come back.
First time I've been here with my friends in March 2017, for my birthday, and second time I think in November 2017.
I like their complimentary starters, vegetables, olives, pickles, bread and some tahina paste, are ebery time so fresh and tasty. Both of the times we had fish, which was great, especially the Fresh Hamour with fries, was so delicious and big plate, you are barely able to finish it especially if you got full from their starters.
Staff was kind and the restaurant looks very nice, I like this kind of restaurant, with a lots of representative details. I forgot to take pictures, but next time, because for sure will be a next time, I will take more.

Calm and quiet restaurant with nice ambience and interior decoration. You can select variety of seafood from the counter which displays various kinds, if you wish to. Very good service and a must visit place if you wish to have Arabic grills especially seafood.
For me this restaurant has always been the overpriced outcast place that you go to whenever you have some serious cash to spare on a sea food banquet.
I cannot deny the high quality of fish and it's freshness or else the price won't be justified. The fish is cooked well too and served with appetizers that goes perfect with it.
Whenever you're craving seafood and not willing to go through the bargain of buying and cooking it yourself, go ahead and try it
