Located at Sheraton Cornish Abu Dhabi, the licensed Lebanese and Armenian restaurant Al Mayass has a special spirit that takes you in a journey in history and traditions of the rich Lebanese and Armenian cultures, the restaurant owns an open sea view where you can spot the sunset. They treat every single guest a VIP treatment thanks to restaurant manager Tony, he welcomed us and guide us all over our experience, very well done!
Huge menu to select, long list of cold and hot mezze, for the cold we starting with Al Mayass hummos and beetroot aubergine, Arminian tabbouleh, and Fattoush, the display is amazing with homemade taste we loved all these healthy options.
As for the hot we selected spicy potato, Kebbe with cherry, (Ras asfour) which is meat cooked and marinated with cherry, we love it specially that mild sweet cherry flavor.
Almost full but still the mixed grill is a must try so tender and served with grilled vegetables and spicy bread.
For the dessert we selected Osmaliyat Al Mayyas and mafrouket fistouk halabi with pistachio, rich cream with sugar syrup and honey and a huge fruits plate, it was perfect selection.
Al Mayass at Sheraton Cornish Abu Dhabi is a must try restaurant if you live in the capital or visiting and highly recommended!
