One roti for 1 AED, Dal curry for 7 AED
Salad was free and the restaurant staff gave us a onion salad plate as complementary too. This was the most economical dinner I had during my trip so far.
Well versed staff, it was near to subway.
17 was total.
Mutton biriyani is simply awesome at very competitive price, quality and quantity of food is also very good. The family dining area is cozy and the staff is very courteous.
We have visited multiple times, had mutton, chicken biriyani, nan, butter nan, keema fry, chapati, chicken curry. The chicken curry has a different aroma and taste altogether. Overall, it was very nice experience.
Fantastic mutton Karahi with tasty meat and good flavours of tomato, fresh chili and herbs. Roti were fresh and hot and good texture. Good service with soup and salad brought quickly. Place doesn't look special but friendly inside and worth a visit for good value and quality food. Hope to go back to try some veg dishes - daal and palak dish looked good on table next to me! Update - been back a few times for veg sabji and excellent quality for a more than reasonable price.
Their chicken piece is special economical and quality wise perfect with wellpresented garnishing of onion and special hummous with it....other items like daal fry and bar b q is also good. If you are hungry my advise is to try once their chicken piece as i personally like it.service delivery is quick as its near to my home as well. 🖒
This is in between one of the best pakistani restaurant in abu dhabi city but it is totally forgotton an old place. The problem is that they have 0 advertising which keeps this nice restaurant away from so many foodies to try. The must try dish is their Lamb chops they are amazing juicy tendered and very yummy. Than the biryani is also good as well as chicken karahi. Cleanliness of this restaurant is not that good .
wide variety of authentic pakistani cusines with kashimri descent...spices are mild-hot so good for normal spice food lovers ... would recommend to try their tea after food ...

Good restaurants run for decades due to consistency in taste and service. This one is the perfect example. I used to visit them more than a decade ago while staying in Electra street locality. Recently while in Abu Dhabi, I thought of having lunch while passing by Electra street. First bite gave the reminder of decade old flavor and aroma and it was so fulfilling. Could also find the same old staff with same old smile while serving.

A wonderful place to dine and we always wanted to tell people when they ask me where can i get a good biryani, and this place automatically pops up in mind.Have been eating here for years and the taste is constant i guess they haven't changed the staff or something, but really the biryani here I FEEL is the best there is in abu dhabi and would not hesitate to recommend anyone to go there and give it a try.
Location wise just ok after shopping at madinat you can go there an relax have a juice and fill up on the biryani.
This review is not for points but i feel people should know the location of good food outlets and plus people always want to know where to get the best biryani, so here is mine, enjo

Every restaurant has young waiters and waitresses. But #Sarawan #Restaurant is run by old age groups. Old environment old looks but i love this place.
All staff are over 50 years old. that's why you can get here antique pakistani test & food.
I'm always going to take 1 AED 1 Paratha.
All food are too good & healthy.

I was an unexpected visit..... But I didn't eat such a wonderful dal,mutton masala & tandoori roti...excellent and highly recommend....
The service also fantastic..... The same time full our stomach and mind..... Really appreciate the management for this kind of wonderful staff's.
