Driving past the British Embassy in Khalidiya we came across Tikka Darbar and the urge to bite into come tender kebabs had us slam the brakes, swerve into the parking and grab a takeaway.
It’s a small little homestyle place run by a couple of ladies serving a decent mix of Indian and Pakistani food with Chinese items as well.
We got dinner last night from Tikka Darbar and we absolutely loved everything. Its a proper pakistani cuisine restaurant.
Chicken cheese spenriche : Looks like pasta, but is not. Tasted like alfredo pasta to me. Loved the creamy texture. Great dish.
Chicken chilli dry: This is one of my fav. Soo perfectly spiced, with ample amount of veggies along with chicken. Gave the authentica chinese feels.
Chicken sindhi biryani: Biriyani was good. Just like Sindhi biriyanis.
Chicken dum biryani: I liked this biriyani better, as it had the perfect amount of spice and masalas just how I like it.
Fish tikka hamour: This is the star of the show. Soo soft, soo well marinated. Perfectly made. This got over in a jiffy. We kept munching on it like pakoras!!
The meal came with two salads and two mint raithas.
Worth trying. Great value for money and fast service.
We ordered from here for the first time. Had the mutton Sindhi biryani, barbecue platter, green chicken karahi and mutton peshawari. Everything was nice. The biryani and mutton are something you should try from here! Value for money kinda place.

The cheesy chicken seems their to be their bestseller and for a good reason! So delicious! Kids loved it. The BBQ platter and green chicken karahi were also very tasty. The marinated meat so well done and tasty! The prawns Biriyani was also very flavorful and delicious keeping up to mark of Shinwari cuisine! Everything is very delicious. Pakistani cuisine lovers should definitely try this place out!

I placed an order online from them and it was real quick. Food was very good and worth the money. I purchased the coupons book and buy one get one offer was great as well. Chicken biryani was delicious. They also provided enough salad 🥗 as well. I would definitely recommend this restaurant 👍

Ordered their premium and restaurant recommendation item Cheesy Chicken Espinacas . As per the description it was tender thigh chicken pieces in creamy cheesy sauce, but it turned out to be chicken breast pieces . Tastes more like Chunky Chicken in Alfredo Pasta Sauce ⚠️ Big NO if anyone has plan to choose this . Chicken Tikka Boti was also not up to the mark. Chicken is very hard. Also they missed bringing Chappathi I ordered, but when I called the restaurant they send it again (that was the only gesture I liked from them). They say it chappathi, but it looks like rumali roti (huge in size) and if you try to eat it - it will be hard like Naan.
Summary - trying out your luck Can be avoided !Real rating is 2/5
We ordered BBQ platter. The food was super yummy. The biriyanni rice with the platter was my son's favourite. He had it a lot. We will order again and will try other items. The sale's representative was so nice (forgot to ask name).

Tikka Darbar is a authentic Pakistani restaurant in Abudhabi city. They serves good Rotti breads n non veg gravies and forgot to add mention about Sindhi biryanis and Afghani Pullao.
This restaurant management is changed and new management added new items in the menu
When it comes to Pakistan restaurants recommends to try their meat dishes rather than vegetarian dishes.
Chapli Kebab will be the must try fish from the menu. Chapli kebab is a Mughlai-influenced Pashtun-style minced kebab, usually made from ground beef, mutton or chicken with various spices in the shape of a patty.
This dish originated from Peshawar in Pakistan so it is also known as Peshwari Kabab.
Green Chicken Curry and Mixed grill also very recommended from the menu.

When we heard that it is now under new management,so decided to visit this place. The food was very fresh and delicious. The salad was very fresh and crunchy. We ordered hara bhara, biryani and seekh kababs. Everything was so fresh and yum! still miss the taste of hara bhara and kababs! Mutton biryani was very mouthwatering and cooked in different way, loved it. This place is highly recomended. The best part is the meat was really fresh. This place is highly recomended!
What matters to me is service and food and this restaurant got both. Biryani is up to the mark. Seekh kabab very good. Signature dish chicken and mutton HARA BARA ooooo lala.... I just love it
I have ordered food from here and must say their veggies are much better than non veggies, especially for Punjab/North Indian taste buds. My advice: use less and better quality cooking oil. Good food in general for the prices charged.

Fast delivery and tasty food
This is a restaurant which has newly opened in Khalidia. I have ordered breakfast several times here. Must say they are definitely different from other restaurants in the locality! Because they serve u, just the way u would like to be served. I had ordered Chana masala, chapati and half fry eggs. Had requested them to prepare it with less oil or possibly no oil. The order was prepare the way I wanted it and was delivered within no time! Keep it up guys!❤️ The staff is well mannered and very polite😇

Lunch at Tikka Darbar. They have dining area upstairs. Complimentary fresh salad and raita was served. I had the following items -
1. BBQ platter- chicken breast with 2 types of marination. Although it was a little overcooked the marination was tasty.
2. Chicken 65 - Chicken breast fried and tossed in a sweet and sour sauce.
3. 🌟 Mutton Rogan Josh - MUST TRY! The mutton pieces were well cooked and the gravy was yummy along with their roti.
4. Chicken Tikka Biriyani
5. Chow mein- Their indian twist to the ordinary chow mein. Well tossed in their sauce. The chicken pieces were tough though.
Overall decent food and worth the price 👍
