I have had an amazing time in this restaurant. The authentic approach on Sudanese cuisine, visual experience and customer service were so unique! I highly recommend it to anyone who strives for different cuisine and experience.

I wanted to try new cuisines here in Abu Dhabi, so I stumbled accross Mufraka. One visit and I’m hooked. Now I’m a proud regular. I’m in love with the Shaia, Agashi, the eggplant salad and the peanut butter salad (interesting right !?)Oh and the falafal!!!
The food speaks for itself, the prices are great and the staff does a wonderful job, such warm people. I’m not one to leave reviews online, but Mufraka does deserve one!

My first experience trying Sudanese food and it was delightful! It’s a great family restaurant owned by sweet people. The owner himself talked to us and welcomed us upon entering. He took time to explain all the dishes to us. The vibe is really authentic and cozy, and the food is AMAZING. Their grills and falafel are incredible, and the prices are so affordable for such great quality.
Would recommend this restaurant to anyone! You get to discover new amazing food and support a genuine small business with great culture behind it.

Being Sudanese myself and having tried all Sudanese restaurants in town , I would safely say that mufraka is closest to real authentic Sudanese cuisine , influenced by Greek , Turk , African and Arab dishes. A must try for all foodies out there and the staff is super friendly and accommodating , very attentive and clean , a far better experience than the pricier and sub par sudanese restaurant around the corner from them.

من المطاعم السودانية الجميلة في العاصمة المطعم نظيف و مرتب ، الاطباق اللي جربتها و انصح فيها شيا جمر لحم مشوي على الفحم لذيذ مع سلطة بالفول السوداني طبعا لي زيارة ثانيه لتجربة باقي الاطباق
