This was my go-to place for Arabic Shawarmas and Falafels atleast 5 years ago, when options were limited and also since it was just across the street. The food wasn't the best, but it was easier to get to than the rest.
Fast forward to today, I just wanted to give it a try again. I was surprised to see the cooking stations much cleaner than it used to be, though the person operating the shawarma spit is still the same. But the most obvious change was the food. The chicken and meat shawarmas were really moist with loads of sauce dripping with every bite, probably the gooiest arabic shawarmas I've had in a long time. The falafels were soft and slightly crunchy, and felt light and airy. I was actually taken aback by the food, even my wife was surprised its from the same store.
I'd definitely recommend to try this place early evening when the shawarmas fall fresh off the spit and the falafels are served fresh and hot. However, I've never had the opportunity to explore their menu, since my language skills are poor, so I don't know much about their other offerings.
Very tasty arabic food, the Arise and the mutton kebabs are worth a try and not very pricey, the ambience is very simple and not flashy, service was quick today.
Pure arabic food with very friendly staff... Great tasty and clean food at a slight high price.... Best thing is utensils soup
