I enjoyed eating and sitting in this place. I ordered fajita chicken and sausage with cheese, both tasted good but I liked the sausage with cheese more because it was full with mashed potato unlike the other one it was more toppings than the actual potato however it tasted good.
We were three and we ordered only two so they were big and enough. Also the view was amazing.
Something different and worth a try.. They market themselves as a healthy snack and if you like potatoes, it's healthier than eating French fries or potato wedges. They have a good choice of toppings to choose from and I always use to visit them when I go to qasba. If you like the toppings, then save it for the potato below else you will end up eating the potato flesh only towards the end..
Nice and small place overlooking the canal in Qasba. The moment you enter the place, you can smell baked potatoes. Their product offering is fairly unique. They basically scoop out the insides of a potato, mash it, and serve it with flavors. I had a Butter Chicken and a Steak flavored mashed potato. Reasonably priced and decent tasting. Quantity could have been more though. Only 2 tables indoors, so your options are limited on a hot day, but outdoor seating is available. If you want to try potatoes of this style for the first time, then worth a visit.
Fellow foodies been asking me where I am lost a week, it was too busy last week. So writting after a week. Being Friday, Kids were in mood of playing in al qasba and I spotted potato hut there. Seriously potato it's my weekness just can't stop. At the same time we had our dinner plan for Lebanese cuisine so thought of buying only one. I chose veggie Delight with Corn capsicum and black olives mayonese. Picked up pepper and salt as well for topping it. Taste wise it was reasonable but for the price we paid 24dhs, staff were too stingy in filling it up. No value for money. Staff were quite bored I felt. I must say in Dragon Mart their branch I always found quantity of filling is much better and value for money.
Again, qasba is such a Location that makes ur dine-in experience even more lovely because of its location.
