Afghani pullow was excellent. Chicken and mutton karahis are excellent too. It’s non complicated food with very less spices but a lot of taste.
It’s our regular mandhi or madhbi ordering restaurant and they never failed to deliver or compromised in their service, be it quality or quantity.
Their delivery is quick.
The madhbi rice here is delicious. They provide lots of raisins and carrot in the rice and that makes it even more good. Even the chicken is succulent and juicy.
The soup and sauce along with madhbi is awesome.
Always wanted to order their other dishes, but their madhbi makes me to order it over again and again.
Okay so this place definitely hasn't received the respect it deserves! They offer quality afghani cuisines at low rates. For some reason I don't see families eat over here... they do have a family area on the side with curtains and separators. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. And the food... damn! Those Afghani Seekh Botis seemed like they came straight from boti heaven... or where ever it is that perfectly barbecued meat comes from. It was bite sized so it entices you to pick em up and pop one in your mouth, close your eyes and experience the burst of juices and flavor going on in your mouth while your teeth does the chewing! Just thinking about it makes me want to try it again! There were also cubes of Perfectly charred pieces of fat thrown in the mix. They were crisp from the char on the outside and soft and melt in your mouth on the inside.
The afghani pulao was decent. I am not a huge fan of rice but they seemed very well made and the charcoal chicken went great with the yogurt dip that they give you as a side.
Finally the unsung hero of the table was the chana daal fry. Went great with the enormously big and soft naan.
We got the Lemon and Mint drink along with the Avocado shake. Needless to stay we were stuffed to the neck.
Definitely a great find. Will come again and try out the other items on their menu.
They have so far never failed to meet the expectations in terms of taste, quantity, quality & delivery time. Its fairly priced as well. The restaurant is spacious, but the idea of dining there hasnt really intrigued me, since majority of the crowd that dine there are men.
Its surprising that when my friend insisted me in trying the rice of the charcoal biryani, me been a veggie, even though skeptical about it, tried it & found it yummy. It didnt taste of non-veg at all. Quite surprising indeed, coz such experiments in the past had been a big failure. Avg. price for 2 - 50 aed.
