Review ‪zahrat Al Quds‬ - الشارقة

Khalil Karam
Amazing authentic Palestinian food. Each meal was enough for 2. The food was fresh even though we ordered late night.

Very nice food. Great complimentary soup. Fantastic msakhan rolls and meat ouzi. The only bad side is that we couldn't order through Zoomato.

AMAZING FOOD AND WELL PRICED!
Mhdoughlas
Very good Palestinian food. All of the dishes are authentic and come in good portions. The Mansaf is great, all the qedre as well. The musakhan is also tasty.

Went here reading the reviews and wasnt disappointed at all. Musakhan rolls and Jordanian mansaf is what i ordered. The rolls were really delicious! I have had it from another place and i liked this one better. The mansaf was equally good. Well cooked rice and meat with plenty of pine nuts.
Shall surely order more from here!
IAteThePlate
This is the best place in sharjah for authentic Palestinian/Jordanian food. The mansaf, msakkhan, freekeh soup, kofta and tahini, and ouzi are all to a high standard, friendly fast service, clean outlet and very generous portions one meal can feed 2 people. The mansaf is a little thicker and creamier than some may be used to but delicious all the same. This place gets full at the weekend and is popular and not so big so you may need to call to check for seats. The decoration of the restaurant with traditional Palestinian art, and ornaments is lovely! Highly recommended for a cultural exchange or visit to feel at home 🏡
Chef's Nightmare
ordered mixed grill m and an extra hammus..the platter had one kebab, one chop, and a skewer of lamb n chicken.it was a home delivery and the order arrived within 45 minutes as agreed.the meat was hard , lamb chop n pieces were rubbery chewy and overdone , so was chicken, the taste was almost bland. kebab was good. Hammus was served pretty cold almost as cold as my coke..it wasnt fresh at all..amazed to see the hype and ratings for this place,

Went for a family lunch( 3 of us ) here and ordered the jordanian Mansaf and Palestinian Mosakhan Rolls. Mansaf is served with Jameed sauce and definitely enhances the taste quite a bit. But, one could have the mansaf as it is too since the meat is tender and falling off the bones and the rice is cooked to perfection as well. The staff is very welcoming although we were the only south asians around. The restaurant is done up in a simple and tasteful manner and is quite neat too. The staff seemed quite well trained and turned out very neatly too. They provided complimentary lentil soup and fresh green salad and it was very refreshing. The mansaf is like a biryani but minus the spices but is enhanced with some dry fruits and it tasted really good and was a pleasant surprise. The mosakhan rolls were also very delicious and quite a different and unusual dish as it had a sweet and sour taste to it with caramalised onions. Overall, we liked the experience and would love to come back again.

Wanted to visit this place since too long, finally went there for a lunch with super hungry friends. We ordered Jordanian Mansaf and Palestinian Mosakhan along with some salad and soup. Both the dishes were simple and presented well. We found it to be as authentic as it gets. The Mansaf meat was too tender and juicy. We will definitely return again!

I always wanted to try Palestinian food and a friend recommended I try Zahrat Al Quds, especially the Mansaf (which I found later was Jordanian) but who cares.

I really enjoyed the meal, it was a takeaway and the staff was very accommodating.

The ambience is traditional and inviting definitely coming back to dine in someday.

Great food.
Great prices.
Definitely recommended for anyone who wants to try Palestinian food.

I even tried the makboos with grilled chicken and it was extremely tasty.

Mansaf is my favorite Arabic dish and this particular restaurant serves the best mansaf ever.
Even though I have tried almost all other restaurants in Sharjah that serve mansaf but they don’t compare to the one served here.
This seems very much like an authentic restaurant that will always be in business.
Haven’t tried their other dishes but I am sure will be good too.
The staff is friendly, only lacking a bit in communicating in English but that doesn’t matter.
Nadeem Azad
For all the arabic food lovers, this is one of the best places in sharjah. Their 1kg mix grill is affordable and the quantity and quality is way good.
Totally satisfied and definitely this one won't disaapoint you!
Hasan
Best Arabic food I've had in UAE. I tried mansaf, kufta, and Ouzi rice and they all tasted like homemade food!!
The staff are friendly and show an high level of hospitality!!
Lia
Authentic, simple, and delicious! The menu has great options and daily meals make it easy to plan an order/delivery.

My favourite item is by far the msakhan rolls. I always order them (delivery) and they're great for packing lunches 👍🏽

I am having my lunch here most of the workdays as this place is near my office.
I have tried lots of dishes from the menu and I have only praise words for this place. I would say it's the best Arabic food you can find in Sharjah.
Hummus is so so good and any of the mutton dishes are a must try.
Would gladly recommend this place when in Sharjah.

This one is indeed hidden gem. Had been to this restaurant long ago and loved their Shawrma. So decided to visit again with family. I not a fan of lentil soup but the one they serve as complimentary is really tasty. Loved all that we tried. Love to visit this restaurant over and over again.
Ammouna
The food feels like a piece of home. Simple flavors prepared well are very comforting. Really love their complimentary lentil soup. Kharouf Mahshi had tender meat. Kebbeh Labaniya was different from what I'm used to, as the Laban tasted like it was made of jameed, but still enjoyable.
Tamara Toukan
I just love their Mansaf! One of the best meals ever! And the Jameed's quality is top notch👍🏻 I have it as a rule to eat from there every Friday.

Went to this place upon suggestion of one of our friend....
The place was quite and not so much rushy even on the weekend ......
We got the table and place our order ....we went as per recommendation of the guy serving us.
Complimentary lentil soup was served to us with fresh salad...i am not a bog fan of lentil soup but i really like the one served here i just adjusted the taste and enjoyed with the fresh salad..... once we finish the soup starter platter was served... humus, mutabal, fatosh all was fresh and taste awesome my only suggestion is they should serve freshly baked bread.
Main course arrived after almost 15 mins of the starter...we ordered Mansaf and Mousa Khan rolls..... Mansaf was good i like the flavour pf meat that was complimenting the rice.... Mousa khan roll were not as per my taste and my hubby also doesn't like it much so we finish the whole generous Mansaf plate.
Definitely gonna visit this place soon for their other items on the menu....and guys this place is for authentic Palestinian food lovers.
Hangry In Dubai
It's very rare that I eat traditional dishes like Msakhan and Mansaf outside home that are this authentic and tasty. The walls are lined with photos of Palestinian cities and Handalah and the white and black chequered Kaffiyes. The restuarant itself is spotless and the service is efficient and polite.

I will return with friends for sure ❤❤
What I Like About You
Everything is beyond delicious! It's allllmost as good as my home cooking ^_^ however I don't understand the use of basmati rice instead of the rice that we Palestinians/Jordanians use ... I had their mloukhiya yesterday (good but it seemed to have been over boiled and was slightly on the dark and bitter side) and maqlooba and both were served with basmati rice. So, maqloba was more like a kabsa and mloukiya with white basmati rice is just not authentic. I wonder if they have the option of the normal yellow rice... كل شي ممممتااااز بس يا ريت تخففو من استخدام أرز البسمتي لأنه ماله علاقة بالمقلوبة والملوخية :) Otherwise amazing and great prices too! Keep it up!

Hands down one of the best Palestinian restaurants in the UAE. I always order home delivery and their delivery is always fast and food is fresh. I usually go for something from the daily or weekly meals selection. The portion sizes are large so 1 plate of any rice meals is easily enough for 2.

I was missing Jordanian food and was searching for places where I could get Mansaf. I tried to go to the places in Dubai and the limitation was that they make only for a huge group and upon request and for selected hours. This is when I decided to intensify my search and came across this place in Sharjah. I asked my friends to join in for this experience because none of them ever had Jordanian food (because the culture here only restricts our knowledge of Arabic food to grills and hummous). We went there and ordered Mansaf and Maskhan Palestinian. We were served complimentary lentil soup which was delicious. When Mansaf and Maskhan arrived, my friends gingerly tasted in the beginning and then started to eat as if it was one of their favourite dish. This place is truly a hidden gem in Sharjah because one could easily pass by this place daily and still give it a miss until they would know what is served here. The interior gave a nostalgic walkway to Jordan and Palestine in the early 1920s and the prompt service of the staff on a busy Thursday evening gave all the more reason to rate it best. My only concern was that we initially wanted to order Makhluba with Mansaf and was told that it is over. As far as I know, it is a made to order dish from my experience in Jordan and should have been easily available. I request the restaurant management to make a note of this and provide interrupted availability of the dishes all the time. Other than this, I have had a good experience in this place and I know that whenever I am missing Jordanian food, I know where to drop by.
Tastebuds From Germany
A nice place for food that tastes homemade and clean....not rehetaed!!! Ordered musakhan rolls and rice with stuffed lamb neck. Lamb neck was not actually stuffed but tasted good. Will definitly try it again if i had the chance.

I was craving for mansaf. Called in a popular joint in sharjah. The manager said he shall not deliver less than 2 mansaf. I said thank you and kept the call. Thanks to Zomato i finds this place and went there to pick up the order.

I was pretty surprised to see that the portion was not as big as expected but it was the second best mansaf (my dad cooks the best ones) i have ever had in my life.

The place seems empty, maybe because of ramadan. But the staff were really friendly and the restaurant looked beautiful.

Hands down to the most home cooked meal type that I have, from a restaurant! We ordered kidra mutton and chicken and boy, the serving is so huge that 1 meal can be shared by 2 person. Kidra feels lighter than mansaf, and the chicken has to be grilled, it is perfect that way for kidra. The meal includes with a soup, and the fattoush is ok. Ordered for delivery though, I wonder how does it feel eating in the restaurant. But might feel like your mom is just cooking at your own home! Price is reasonable, as the serving is so generous.

Belad al sham restaurant, palestinian,Jordanian, syrian food. What an amazing experience from this restaurant I tried a meal named in Arabic: (qidri khaliliyi) with chicken and meat and it is perfect.
Didnt dine in but the ambience looks amazing.

This is the best restaurant in sharjah, I advice everyone to try it really amazing and clean
The food fresh and delicious. Service amazing and staff friendly

The food portion is very generius and the taste is amazing. I've been there with my family, we really enjoyed the food, although the roasted chicken we ordered was a bit over cooked, but nevertheless we enjoyed out meal till the last bite.

This restaurant was recommended by a friend of mine and a fellow foodie. This place definitely is a hidden gem without any doubt.

This was my first time actually that I had a chance to eat something really traditional and that too from Palestine. We are here in UAE, or Gulf for that matter, considering Mandi, Madhbi, Ouzi, etc.... are the only traditional Arabic dishes but after visiting this place it actually introduced to me a new level of cuisine and taste.

It was 3.00 Pm on a Friday afternoon when I entered in there. To my surprise the restaurant was nearly full and air was filled with tempting aroma of different food items. I ordered Mutton Mansaf and Chicken and Khidra Khalilia Chicken.

Mansaf Rice were accompanied by beautifully cooked Meat, nuts, and delectable sauce that made the entire experience heavy weight actually. It was "wowish"in taste and content to the core.

Khidra Khalilia Chicken was another awesome dish I had. It was accompanied by Chicken, Nuts, Chick peas, and yogurt. It was serene in taste. Smelled nice, tasted nice, and lighter on stomach compare to Mansaf.

Service was genial and helped us defining our choices.

I bookmarked this restaurant and I will be trying each and every dish they serve.

I heard from a friend that this restaurant has authentic Jordanian mansaf in the menu, I went for dinner and I have to say their mansaf was really good! We also had a fattoush salad which was excellent as well.. All is great in the restaurant from the authentic Palestinian / Jordanian ambiance to the cuisine itself
Ahdab Ali

Not a single flaw. I was the only Indian in the restaurant. Great hospitality. Fantastic food.

Their Makhlooba and Mansaf are a must try jordanian-palestine delicacy.

YUM!
Mohsin Khan
It was amazing!! The dish MOSAKHAN IS A MUST.

THE PRICING IS PERFECT AND THE DELIVERY TIME WAS PERFECT. Havent been to the restaurant yet as i opted for Home Delivery.

It is the best Arabian and Palistanian food ever i have ever tasted . Every thing is made perfectly as it was on its home and its prices can be afforded by every one .
I advise everyone one to try it as soon as You can . Enjoy

I went to this restaurant after I finished work upon a recommendation from a friend. I love Arabic cuisine and was looking for a good restaurant so he (my friend) told me about "Zahrat Al Quds" and about "Mansaf".
When we entered I felt comfortable with everything, the furniture, the lights, the people who worked there and of course the menu.
We ordered 3 Mansaf (there was 3 of us) and one Mosakhan. First, they brought soup (a really amazing one) and a dish of pickles and some fresh vegetables (salad). The Mnasaf came and it looked very delicious. We started to eat and literally we enjoyed it to the max. When Mosakhan came we were almost full but we could not leave without tasting it, so we started round two :)
Musakhan is half chicken cooked in a big bread, it was tasty and juicy and the onion and spices gave it a fantastic flavor that we enjoyed even when we were full. After dinner, we took Arabic coffee and asked for the bill; it was reasonable compared to other restaurants.
It was a v good experience, I would recommend "Zahrat Al Quds" to everyone who likes Arabic (Jordanian/Palestinian) food.
