(التعليق الأصلي) Nice spot to chill and relax. It also hosts the adult pool so there are no children allowed. The cabanas are nice and very close to the pool for you to take a dip in. The service is ok, we had to wave over the waiters a few times because I don’t think they were paying attention to the guests. The drinks and food were average. Nothing very special about them. The ceviche wasn’t very good. Overall I enjoyed the atmostphere and one feels like they are on an island resort. Not bad to spend an afternoon at.

There are more than enough snobs in New York. I dont need to see any more when I'm on vacation!

We recently visited La Baie in a group of 3 women as part of the rigz carlton spa-cation deal. Such a delight! The restaurant is located near the beach and has a nice summery vibe. The outdoor seating by the poolside is casual and cozy. The indoor is a little underwhelming- plain and slightly run down by ritz standards. The staff is great. We got good recos, they were very attentive to allergies and happy to customise our meal. We tried the ceaser salad which has amazing moist and juicy chicken, tomato soup which qas one of the best iv had so far, and vegetables crudités wit hummus which was fresh and crunchy too for starters. Mains were chicken peri peri, club sandwich and penne arrabiata, all of which were made as directed and were good complete meals in themselves. The staff also surprised us with a delicious molten cake for for a birthday celebration which was amazing. The menu options were limited but all that was available was worth it. A great meal. Would like to go back for sheesha in better weather ( and better times).

Had a beautiful day lazing by the pool and soaking up the sun. It was 38 degrees so wasn’t feeling like anything to heavy for lunch, but opted for the La Salada Nissarda. Was delicious and fresh, perfect amount of dressing, lovely seasoning on the tuna and tasty olives and greens. Service was efficient and friendly, highly recommend.

Lovely place and delicious food. The steak was tender flavoursome and cooked perfectly, I could have eaten more of it. There was a hint of some kind of cherry glaze that was so good and surprisingly inventive. The vegetables on the side were delicious, a super meal overall. Banofee pie was one of the best I’ve had here and I’m a dessert person. Great evening venue to spend some time relaxing.

Very nice restaurant which is part of the ritz carlton hotel. We were on half board and were able to use any of the on site restaurants and ate here on one of those nights. Very good service and nice pleasant food. More of a sports type bar and restaurant than the others on site and more appropriate for families with children.

Attended their outdoor cinema experience. At AED100 per person it was a steal. Service was prompt, but you had to call flag a waiter. If thought they'd do the rounds and collect orders before the movie started. Loved the fact they had blankets as my wife was feeling chilly. Portions were very good. We just wanted some munchies. We expected tiny sliders since this is the Ritz and Dubai. So two orders of sliders and chicken wings to share was a healthy order. Finger licking delicious comfort food. There two instances when the movie's atmosphere was broken by loud Arabic music from another part of the hotel. You'd think if they have an outdoor cinema running the hotel would manage their programming elsewhere not to conflict with this experience?🤷‍♂️ That's the lost star.

La Baie Lounge at The Ritz-Carlton in JBR is a hidden gem…of the five-star kind. Spread over a spa-like indoor lounge and bar, and an outdoor pool area inclusive of pool bar (I just love pool bars) it is one of the swankiest places in Dubai to unwind and relax. The music is fantastic, the DJ deserves an award. Pool bars and lounges aren’t famous for their food yet the fish and chips I had at La Baie was surprisingly good, better than many of the British restaurants and bars I have tried the same at in Dubai. And the fact that I could have my fish and chips with a pint of Estrella Damm made it all the better.

Have eaten here a few times because of the location. Always disappointing. Average food with average service. The food reminds me of airport food. Price is quite high for what it is. I guess they rely on people being by the pool and wanting to eat. The menu is so limited and the kitchen always refuses to make any changes.

We went there for our 5 year anniversary - they had decorated the table with roses and balloons - that was a very nice gesture. The food was really good, the ambience was casual and the staffs were very cordial. We had an amazing time there. At the end they presented a nice anniversary dessert - it was so sweet! *La Baie Lounge* at The Ritz Carlton located on the *Jumeirah Beach Road* is a tiny tropical Isle situated amidst towering buildings on one side and the beautiful Dancing waves of the Persian Gulf kissing its shores on the other. Wherever your eyes wonders you are traversed by lush green foliage, or bright blue waters, so typical of tropical climes. I am always enamored by settings such as these. The lounge has incorporated this feeling of totally letting yourself being taken over by the natural charm, in its design and decor. Though the summers are still sizzling in Dubai, the outdoors of the La Baie Lounge with it's really pretty views made us brave the heat and sit outdoors sipping into our drinks. Mine was a citrus loaded, passion fruit tinged mock tail topped with fresh mint leaves with a befitting name *Caribbean Breeze* ( fresh mint, passion fruit, lime juice, lemon soda). Was quite rejuvenating. For the main course we ventured indoors and sat next to the large windows which totally brings the outdoor indoor. Service was brisk and the place was filled with diners, mostly tourists, staying at the property. We were served a mix of freshly baked breads with garlic butter and tomato labneh. Delightful I must say. Their Menu has some dishes for lunch and some for dinner service. As it was lunchtime, we ordered *La Baie Signature Nasi Goreng* with my choice of Chicken Satay. The dish was visually very inviting but completely failed to appease my taste buds. Along with this we ordered for *Thai Style Wok Fried Noodles* which again was only a visual treat. Sadly the food failed to match the outstanding ambience of this lounge. Food ~ 3 / 5 Service ~ 4 / 5 Ambience ~ 4.5 / 5 Value for Money ~ 3.5 / 5 Family oriented ~ 4 / 5

ok i had very high expectation from this place, it turned out something different, im not a big fan of the following things in this place. 1. Slow service even tho this place wasn't packed. 2. Ordered the chicken quesadilla and requested for the chef to make it spicy and out came the dish with slices of red chili as part of its garnish! Hahaha! The guac was real yum too! Have also had their crab mango salad which is a MUST TRY for anyone who loves a fresh salad! I was skeptical at first about having mango with crab and avocados in a salad together but it has to be one of my most favorite salads in Dubai! Kudos to the chefs!

Ritz Carlton is ideally tucked amongst the line of five star hotels in JBR, one of the most popular spots of Dubai. We were invited by Tishtash, a famous marketing Company in Dubai. We spent a morning with lavish breakfast. La Baie is a capacious & well lit restaurant, big glass windows give appealing outside views of the property. It is situated alongside swimming pool and also with an outside seating arrangement. Ambiance is very impressive, who doesn’t wants a calm atmosphere and great food. Breakfast had a good spread, which included , fresh juices & fruits, croissants, desserts, yogurts, Arabic salads & mezzehs, scrambled eggs, mushrooms, potatoes & coffee, which we enjoyed with the group of bloggers.

Visited there on a pleasant evening for a fine fine experience alongside the beach. The staff was extremely welcoming and very caring to each and every customer. The food tasted good. Since I'm vegetarian i didn't have much choices except for a mushroom risotto which was really creamy and warm. And the chef 👨‍🍳 especially made quesadillas just for us, which was a really nice gesture. The drinks very amazing and the desserts were great. Overall a really nice experience.

I was invited to this place by my friends who lives close by and should say we had a good time. First it seemed bit weird that place was empty however it was weekend. Then we ordered food and drinks. For food we tried chicken wings ( were good) some delicious shrimps with lemongrass, some shrimp tempura and calamari rings. I would recommend this place for those who wants to spend cozy evening with friends and get nice food, drinks and good service at the same time.

Visited during evening hours place was completely empty during weekend night which was kind of surprising to me . As we sat down we decided to have they signature cocktails so we decided to order Prisco and Sangria recommended by the server itself . Drinks arrived within 5-6 mins which was pretty quick . It was great , we very much enjoyed it . Ambience wise the place was very good shall definetly come back soon

just happened to visit this place during the weekend for couple of drinks. The first thing i felt was it was too very quiet for a weekend. though the place is done up well, it was way too silent to spend a weekend, unless someone wants to just sit in a quiet place with no one around. They have amazing outdoor space, very well done however the scotching heat didnt give a chance to try that. Tried their cocktails, Prisco (italian liquor based ) and Sangria. Both were pretty good. Service was excellent too.Courteous staff, good drinks, lovely place , reasonable price...how i wish it was a little more lively ! i wouldnt mind visiting again then ...

A lovely place in Ritz Carlton by the pool side. Excellent food and service as well. Dropped by for a quick lunch and a drink to this gorgeous place on a weekday. The staff were very welcoming and took our orders as soon as we were seated. We ordered a Beer and a Cranberry based cocktail for drinks. The cocktail was mediocre. Not too strong and nothing extraordinary about it. So We wanted to try their mixed seafood grill since it had lobsters, calamari, king prawns and sea bass. We weren't too hungry so didnt want to order more. They first arrived with a plate of breads served with garlic butter and a sauce made of olives. The lobsters were the best for me. Grilled to perfection, so juicy and perfectly marinated too with a tinge of spice to it. The chef, Mr. Moorthy came up to us and checked how we liked the food and said he made it slightly spicier assuming we would enjoy it that way. And quite obviously we did. He even made a special sauce for us to dip the grills. A few minutes later he comes with a complimentary plate of Nasi goreng, which is an Indonesian style fried rice with a sunny side up egg and shrimp paste. Once again he made it with a tinge of spice and we absolutely loved it. The flavours just oozed out with every helping i had. Once we were done with the food and settled our bills, Mr. Moorthy once again comes up to us with dessert for both of us. Chocolate cake, coconut flavoured ice cream with a base of pista, litchee and blackberry. It was presented so well and looked so delicious and beautiful on plate, that i felt bad i had to eat it. However it was yummmm. Overall a very satisfied experience.

I honestly do not understand how such a place can exist in a 5 star hotel! The ambience and restaurant itself is very nice. It was kind of dirty though (see pics of salt and pepper bottles covered in dust). Food is terrible! We ordered a miranda, mint and lime, caeser salad and a bbq chicken sandwich... after waiting 20 mins 2 salads arrived, so I sent one back and explained I had ordered the sandwich. Also, they gave us a coke instead of miranda. Caeser salad had decent flavor but chicken was hard and chewy, obviously precooked from a container. How hard is it to grill a piece of chicken?! Another 25 mins later! My "sandwich" comes missing 2 out of the 5 components. I take one bite and its cold, overly sweet and the bread is soggy. I immediately send it back and ask for the cheque. To my surprise, they bring me the cheque with 2 salads and a sandwich so I send it back, second time they are still charging me for the sandwich and at this point im so annoyed I send it back again finally kicking up a fuss. Luckily the manager saw this and walked over and corrected the situation and comped us the meal, he was the only one there who was some what gracious and friendly. All other servers were so blah and unfriendly. I appreciated the manager's concern and gesture hence why I rated a 2 instead of 1 however I will not return, even if it is free!

Their wasn't much choice of food. The deserts weren't that nice. The drinks were limited. The famous pancakes and Nutella were there to save our souls. The ambience was amazing. The waiters were too kind 👌👌. Food need to improve 😖.

Went for a pool day and hada lunch there. Honestly, i have read many books for the incredible Ritz Carlton service and had high expectations. The service was so slow, although we were around 2:30 pm, not the busiest lunch time. It took them one hour and half to serve a salad and a main course. We finished with the salads and had to wait 30 and more minutes for the mains. I asked someone to bring our desserts to the pool as we went for a beach and pool day and not to spend our time over lunch in the lounge. They told me no problem, you just ask the waiter by the pool when you want your desserts. The waiter didn't know anything, he said he will come back and never showed up. They never served the desserts. When we were about to leave, i wanted to pay for a pack of cigarettes at the pool bar and it took them another 15-20 minutes to charge my card. By the way they hold my driving licence in case i didn't pay them my 20 dhs for the cigarettes. Totally unpleasant experience. I felt unwelcome in this hotel. Have been to many 5 star hotels in Dubai but never expected such a poor service in Ritz Carlton. Food was okay and the portions were really generous. But the service was worse than in a cheap coffee shop place. I would suggest the manager of La Baie Lounge buys one of the books dedicated to Ritz Carlton incredible customer service and read it. I would borrow one of mine.

This gorgeous outdoor lounge/restaurant at the Ritz Carlton is a stunning place to hang out at. As we walked from the lobby of the hotel down to La Baie by the beach, we were very charmed by the beautiful architecture and landscape of this place - adorned with decorative pools, water fountains and lush gardens - very magical during day time. We visited here during tea-time and indulged in their soft and delicious macaroons and some chocolate milkshake and cappuccino while enjoying beautiful views of JBR and Marina on one side and the Arabian Gulf on the other. After a short walk on the beach, we left from here hoping to return sometime very soon!

The pool is great. The drinks are, well drinks and great by the pool. Service is good too and friendly and its a nice spot. The food: not so good. Ordered a LBS (which is a club sandwich) and a wagyu steak sandwich. The Fries were good. The LBS was passable but was 95 AED and the chicken was stringy - ie from a container in a fridge from the day before. The steak sandwich was just bad. The 150 AED sandwich was ruined by two things 1) spongy bread that was awful and ended up being 80% of every bite 2) way too much cheese and friend onions that took the flavour from the nice mushrooms and expensive cut of steak. Does anyone try this food? It was clearly not good to anyone whose has had a steak sandwich. Don't eat lunch here.
