Visited this place on 6th of sep for my wedding anniversary which was the worst decision they food was horrible ordered biryani which was shame on biryani you can't even count it in biryani it was plain rice mixed with curry and the lamb chops biggest failure 0/10 wont recommend

We went for my Husband's Birthday dinner seeing the ratings, but it's not more than overpriced chat shop. We ordered Chef's tasting menu and all the starters were fried with excessive oil coming out and the taste was at par with normal street side shops. Not even a single dish tasted wow.. every thing was just okay or not bad. Presentation was nice but not gastronomic. A birthday dinner wasted is what I feel. Staff was courteous but what's the use if the food is not good at all.. will never go or recommend others. Highly disappointing.

Been to carnival few times, but everytime there is something new, fun and exciting. I was there today for my husband’s 30th with my husband and daughter we had a great time! The food, staff and service is always on point. We were looked after by Kuldeep who was absolutely amazing at his job. Thank you Carnival team for making our experience once again a memorable one. Will be returning again for sure.

Carnival used to be one of my favorite dining experiences however the quality of food has drastically declined recently... The time I visited I ordered the lunch set and I was not impressed, the theatrics makes carnival distinctive were not there, the service was good but they served us all our starters at once which made the experience feel rushed, the starters were okay nothing special and their mains were extremely disappointing, the chicken in the starter and main had an extremely bad after taste and the fish curry was too sweet, the fig cake in the dessert was inedible we had to leave it, not only was it dry but it had a peculiar taste that I can’t explain... There are far better restaurants in Dubai with similar concepts, so I really hope they improve as the food used to be really good when they first opened.

So i went here with my fiance on our first date after our engagement. My partner was welcomed with a red rose, a brilliant start from the very first minute till the end of our amazing dine in experience. The ambiance was amazing, the restaurant was lively with friendly staff. we chose the chef’s tasting menu which is a 5 course menu with live cooking which is totally worth the money. The food was amazing, specially momo - fuku and prawn dynamite. It was totally expect the unexpected like i wouldn’t think ever that i would be eating indian food with such presentations and flavours. Apart from the food, the drink we ordered was very much upto the mark aswell, we ordered “perfect for two” yellow tail which was a mixture of passion fruit, mango, lemon and orange presented with aromatized smoke. To end it up we got a dessert which was very well presented (i don’t remember the name, i have posted a picture) but that was one of the best i had in town and surely it was something different. I would highly recommend people this place for a date specially the first one 😉

We went too enjoy our weekend and was really disappointed with the main course food and also the service. The chicken wasn’t cooked well and he had to changed it again which wasted our time. From the starter to the main course there was a difference of 30 mins in between the same. Honestly this wasn’t impressive and is very much over priced. Won’t recommend and would suggest all to try something better than this. Waste of time and waste of money.

wonder why i went here and wasted my time money and efforts? Worst ever restaurant which they proudly call as Fun food,i mean really?? Food is so so stale,we ordered some starters as we are vegetarians it was some mushroom dish and dahi kebab,both were drenched in oil,oil was kind of drippin from them,absolutely no taste ,the only taste in the food was of the salt!! We had already ordered main course which we tried to cancel,when i called the server he reported to the manager,manager was looking at us didnt even bother to come back and ask whats the problem,we ordered some masala cola ,and the only taste it had was of salt,they put too much salt in everything that one could die with high BP,please vegetarians do not go at all,very rude staff,ESP the manager and at the reception,one star is for the server.the mushroom dish was so dead,old stale mushrooms just fried ,the dahi kebabs were just the crust served that of a samosa with no dahi filling,horrible is the word.some how managed to cancel the maincourse and ran away,bad bad bad!!

The entire experience started of great. I went for the business lunch menu with my family and was assured by the staff that it would be absolutely fine to come in as a group of 4 amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. The starters were great albeit brought out a tad but quickly as we ran out of space on the table. Right after however, a group of 14 showed up out of which there were at least 6 kids that were running about wild! My concerns about the social distancing maintenance were put aside by the server and our fine dining experience ruined by random kids yelling and running in and out of the restaurant. By the end of it felt like we would’ve been better off dining in. The food was really good and I would definitely like to come again but definitely not in the midst of rising COVID cases.

Decor and staff is excellent. However, It’s overrated when it comes to Food. The taste is much better in their another restaurant “Tresind”. We found taste of used oil in some of the dishes. Cost wise it’s better to go with “A La Carte option” rather than “Chef’s Tasting Menu” as we realized that bill would have been atleast 25% lower evenif we had ordered same dishes which are included under set menu. Overall the service was good except that we had to remind them to serve the last dish “Karak Tea” as the staff got busy in handling another big group.

As long as you come with a completely empty stomach 😂 the chef tasting menu will amaze you. The quantities are extremely generous. The food is incredible with meticulous detail and care taken in the flavors. The staff were incredibly courteous, polite and attentive. I visited this place on my anniversary during the COVID SITUATION. however the place was really clean and the staff was friendly and courteous. We loved every dish we ordered.The prawn dynamite was super delicious and the presentation of the food is emasculate. I went to Carnival a while back out for their Lunch Menu and I really want to start with their Ambience, which was really nice and at a very easy to reach location. Staff was very friendly too. So In the Vegetarian Lunch Menu, started with Amuse Bouche Course - The Papdi Tacos, Quiche, Bihari Burger and then For the Main Course we had the Mutter Paneer, and Gulab Jamun Curry and the Moong Dal Chaat, and then for the Dessert Course had the Banana Yogurt Ice Cream. Overall the Lunch was Delicious and would recommend trying it out.

This place is very rich and modern! It has the best interiors you can ever imagine! It has the most friendly and warm ambience. This place doesn’t leave your table empty ever! The ever so warm staff is always ready to serve you something of the other whether it is complimentary or what you’ve ordered for. We ordered a lot of food and surprisingly every dish was better than the previous one. So on to the food, we ordered the Chicken Kulcha first which ALL OF US LOVED. It’s like something you HAVE TO HAVE TO order. The Kulcha’s are hanging with these clips, then you have chicken, chutney and cucumbers which you serve for yourself. Which was just so so so amazing. It was like HEAVEN IN MY MOUTH. On to the Shredded Butter Chicken which was by far the best butter chicken i’ve ever had (in my opinion) which we had with Butter naan 😭❤️ On to the drinks (every drink has a very special way of being presented and so was this one) we went for The Bomb which was in its literal sense presented as an actual bomb. 😂💣 This wasn’t all that we ordered, but I didn’t get the chance to take any more pictures as everyone was just pouncing on to the food lol! This place is something that you SHOULD visit, and try all the things recommended ⬆️❤️

We recently dropped in at The Carnival by Tresind to celebrate our engagement anniversary. A lovely Fine Dine destination with beautiful decor. However must mention, it was quite noisy for a fine dine. On entering we were shown to our booth by a very unenthusiastic staff. Additionally, most of the staff appeared haggard. And it was only 730PM!! In a restaurant like Carnival, with its different menu options one would expect them to share some information (if not all) about what and why we should be trying from the menu. But sadly, we were left to look it up from various reviewers in Zomato for inspiration.

Finally visited this place as I wanted to try this beautiful restaurant since forever. Amazing interiors. Ambient lighting. Posh location all makes it a delightful experience right from the moment you walk to the vast terrace with nice views where this restaurant is located. We went for the chef’s tasting menu. And I must admit it was a wonderful gastronomic experience. I loved the dynamite prawns out of all and the raj kachori was outstanding. The best was this dessert called gajak. Very yummy and it was quite an experience eating out of huge canvas that was spread in front of us rather than a plate or bowl. Plating and presentation was amazing. Friendly staff explained us all the dishes that was served to us. Once in an occasion kind of experience and place.

Everything from the exquisite taste, to the out of this world theme (books/ travelling etc..) to the generous portions and extremely professional yet warm staff makes this absolutely one of my best Indian cuisines. I celebrated my daughters 1st birthday here and up until the booking the service was absolutely excellent. Ritesh and Shagun were extremely helpful and accommodating. The food was absolutely delightful, a few dishes that come to mind which were mind blowing, momos, butter chicken, taco chat and fish curry. As we were hosting we hardly ate but Ritesh was kind enough to pack some food for us! The quality of the food was astounding, each and everyone was of our guest was happy with the quality - big compliments to the chef! The kids were also super happy with their Mac and cheese and fries! Now, onto why u didn’t give them. 5 out of 5, the service was sub par and quite disappointing, it’s understood where the tables were not full however completely unacceptable that where the tables were full and guest didn’t receive their starters until the party was almost over! I really hope they improve the service or figure out a way to improve it. Please take my feedback constructively, while my guests were happy with the quality it was embarrassing to keep hearing the same complaint about the service. We were indeed a big crowd, nonetheless it should’ve been managed better. Drinks also took more than 20 mins to come out. Service was indeed a hiccup but I was still happy I chose carnival for my daughters 1st Bday, the food is actually as good as everyone says. If the service improves it will be one fo the best restaurants in Dubai, heck maybe even globally! I can’t stress enough on how amazing the food was! Decor was lovely as well. Francis by the way was my favorite server. Oh and the gajak desert with the best ending! Thank you for your suggestions Ritesh, they were great!

Amazing food! Service was a little slow, but in their defense they had a full house to cater to. The food was, how can I put it... unconventional, modern twist to the much loved Indian cuisine. Ofcourse not everyone will like everything, but if you go in for their brunch menu... you are spoilt for choice and for sure you will find a few items that literally blow your mind! The ambience is cozy and private and the staff makes sure you are comfortable. Gajak was a show stealer. After long had this kind of phenomenal dessert. Food that needs special mention is Chilli beef, prawn dynamite and chapli kebab . Do request the staff to get you pickles, they are awesome ! Carnival similar to tresind offers gastronimical experience of uts highest order. The food us delicious and the service is top notch. Chicken momokufu is similar to momos, the atom bomb, the sorbets and the boiling skull cocktail are some of the few standout dishes we tried. The business set lunch is the best I've had! I've never seen creative menu items before and even better presentation. The food is so relish and every flavor just melts so easily. My friend and I tried both veg and non veg dishes on the set menu and loved every bit. The ambiance and dècor is absolutely stunning. I've been here two times and cannot wait to come back again.

Carnival an institution on molecular gastronomy taking after its flagship restaurant Tresind at the Voco hotel. Carnival continues to amaze on its modern take of Indian cuisine. From traditional dishes to the debonair decor, the charming ambience and assertive service, everything the restaurant and staff offered was a trance like experience in itself. We had celebrated our Valentine’s Day here as the restaurant had a set menu for the price of Aed425(inclusive of taxes). Which seemed reasonable and so decided to reserve a table for two. The dishes itself were flavoursome to the taste and picturesque to the eye, throughout the whole course meal complements were a given as the standard to which the food was prepared was far more then just appetising. The only set back I would say is when the food did arrive it was a bit warm rather then piping hot, this could be a major setback as the temperature of the food does tamper with ones palate and could ruin the dish entirely. That being said hats off to the chef and the staff especially Rezza, who explained each dish and it’s ingredients flawlessly and kept us in the knowing of what to expect next. Once again thank you Carnival for making our night a significant one.

I visited the restaurant to celebrate my parents’ 35th wedding anniversary and we were glad that we chose it. The ambience is great with nice decorations and beautiful seating area. The staff is very courteous and helpful. The pre-set menu included live preparations, but we opted for ala carte. The food is experimental with a fusion of traditional Indian dishes with a western touch. We were looking to try something new and we were not disappointed even though we are vegetarians. They had plenty of options and we ordered mix chaat items as starters and a variety of dishes in main course. I must say we enjoyed the food and it was a good change from the regular paneer dishes which we usually eat in fancy restaurants. The quantity for each serving is limited which I think is intentional if you want to have a 3-course meal, which you must. We ended up eating the live cooked gajak dessert in the end which was again a fusion of traditional gajak elements with ice cream and chocolates of different types. Had a great experience overall and would highly recommend to all Indian food lovers!

It had been a great experience. A dinning experience you won’t forget. I can still feel the flavors, the chef has nailed the perfect balance of spice and flavor! The presentation was so adorable and the food was also mouthwateringly delicious, the taste overpowers everything else and something you will always crave for! The staff was courteous and allowed adequate time to relish each serving. The service to the decor everything is impeccable thought out and now you know where to visit for your next meal, will visit again soon.

I had heard about this place from almost everyone in Dubai and it was during this 2020 valentine’s that I had to take my girl out for their special set menu dinner. Honestly, this place totally blew me away. There are for sure many other places that have fancy decors and good food but it is the service of food, the presentation, the flavors that are combined together to give you an unforgivable experience. We had a Valentine’s special set menu and below are the pictures attached. If you’re a foodie exploring quality food & fine dining experience then this place is a must visit. 5/5 stars from me.

A late review but a much deserved one! Visited Carnival By Tresind, during their 6th season: The Bookmark Menu The food was served in bookcases and to see what food was being served one had to open the bookcase. We opted for one veg and one non veg menu. Firstly they served us with Bao Bhaji which is a Bao Take on the desi Pao Bhaji. The stuffed masala vegetables tasted like good desi Bhaji. Then we went to the area where they served Delhi Street Food, and had Pani Puri. The 6 course menu started off with Momofuku which were chicken momos served with chilli sauce, followed by meatilicous, grilled lamb chop served with mini Dosa crisps. Hot Sauce Nation: Shrimp Mezhukkupuatti with homemade black pepper tobasco. After the appetizers, a colorful looking palate cleanser was placed in front of us as we got ready for main course. The main course started with Encyclopedia of Nilgiri, chicken korma with aromatic green spices. Fish Tajine was the other main dish which was sea bass curry with preserved lemon and kalamata olives. For veg main course they had five shades of pumpkin and artichoke masala. By the time we finished main course we were super full. For dessert we chose the Gajak and boy were we surprised when it was served in all glory. Done in the Alinea way we had caramel, peanuts and chocolate served up real nice. Overall it was a superb experience. Will surely visit again.

We had booked a table for Valentine’s day celebration. The table was not properly set. We weren’t served with a water, cutlery and napkin, we had to ask the waiter for these things. Didn’t expect such a bad experience from a fine dinning restaurant.

My husband decided to give me a romantic surprise on valentines day in Carnival by Tresind. After reserving the seats, we were given table outside the restaurant without informing us earlier. Waiter and serving staff didn’t have any etiquette of a fine dining restaurant. We were not given napkins, water or proper cutlery’s. Multiple servings of a set menu were served at the same time on a small table.There was no coordination between the staffs and the plates were not cleared on time.Very disappointing overall dinner experience!

We pre booked a dinner at Carnival by Tresind for 14 Feb via Zomato's table bookings and got a confirmation on the booking once it went through on the app. On the 14th when we called the restaurant (by chance) they claimed that a Zomato table booking is not valid unless we confirm the booking on an email. What is the point of having an online reservation option when my confirmed booking is not confirmed unless they get an email from me? In addition, Shagun - the hostess on call was absolutely rude and not accommodating - while we don't expect to get a table at 5pm on 14 Feb - the least they could do is acknowledge the issue and apologise. But that's asking for too much from a highly rated restaurant, I guess :)

For 89 AED business lunch I can’t complain too much. But having been to their main Tresind restaurant I was expecting much better. The service was attentive but indifferent. The description we got was veg and non-veg business lunch and the a’la carte book. The starters were a waste of calories. The mains were all very nice, but not very different from any decent Indian restaurant. The place was busy and had a nice look and feel to it. But wouldn’t go again.
