Overall excellent experience. We got the set menu for 2. It was rich, the steaks were delicious as well as the starters. Also, the service was outstanding.
To start off I’m not a big fan of writing off reviews but I felt it was obligatory on my part to highlight the immaculate pallet quenching carnivorous taste buds experience I had. When I talk about meat and especially steaks I mean business and I don’t compromise on anything but truly amazing. As per everyone I know in my circle I always eat steaks at home, reason is you get excellent quality beef if you know where to buy em and it’s cost 3 times less and I hate tooting my own horn but everyone who has eaten at my place hate going out for steaks.
Now that being said the tomahawk I had at graze was truly amazing for a number of factors. One it had that intense wet aging flavor. Don’t confuse Wet aging with dry aging. Second the quality of the beef was amazing and when you have high quality marbled grade beef which was equally good in comparison to the wagyu grade beef and. now only thing left to do is not to screw it up which is exactly what graze did. Third they cut every single part of the steak against the grain which allows every bite to be tender. Generally the tomahawk is generally difficult when it comes to cutting against the grain as you tend to confuse it with the way you cut a ribeye but that’s not the case here and people do tend to mess it up which leaves a rather chew to it. You have an option to cut your own steaks but take my advice let them do it. Fourth the steak was cooked perfect medium rare and for my friends it was medium. Generally my friends who don’t go out for steaks anymore other than my place even commented that this is equally good as to what I dish out. Fifth they cook it over wood fire charcoal that leaves that amazing charred smokiness to the meat. If only they had bone marrow as sides or use roasted bone marrow with garlic and infuse it butter and place that stick of butter on the steak this restaurant would be god like when it comes to serving this steak. Also during the covid they were following excellent safety protocols. From my end this is my next place to dine out when I don’t want to cook steaks at home. Last but but not the least the staff there are super friendly and they love doing what they do.

Best steaks in town, the sides are also super yummy! Not to mention, ambiance and service is always on point.
Finally a great steak to make up the closure of Ruth Chris. We were not planning to dine in but we saw it while having a walk in city walk we and decided to try it for dinner and was so worth it ! They recommended the wagyu rib eye and passion fruit juice . The steak is heavenly, bread and butter are sooo good. Juice was ok. As for service it’s one of the best service I had in Dubai specially (volah) she is not only friendly she go an extra mile to make you welcomed and relaxed. Also thanks to the cheaf and the restaurant manager. We will be definitely be back again
GRAZE Gastro Grill & Bar has reinvented how you spend your Saturdays with the launch of the Saturday Grazing Feast brunch. The urban steakhouse, located at La Ville Hotel & Suites, CITY WALK Dubai, spruced up the Saturday brunch experience with uncompromising flavours to the backdrop of a live DJ spinning some throwback tunes.
All I can say that I am a tough man to please, and I was very pleased with the quality of the food.
The burrata was just right and the steak meat was of good quality and done just right
Thank you
Located in La Ville hotel city walk , they have an indoor and outdoor seating.
We went to their Saturday lazy grazing feast , upon reservation you can choose 3 hours period between 1 to 6 pm ( which is different from others where the brunch timing is only for 3 or 4 hours ).
They offer a set menu with many options of meat , chicken, seafood.
Food was delicious , very good service. for sure I will come back again.
Hands down the best short ribs I've tried. Must. Burrata was pretty good too. It was empty as it was summer though so the ambience wasn't great.
Distance of this place is very delicious I ordered chocolate by which was very tasty and perfectly cooked with sweet taste. The use of Limited sugar as very impressive
Appetizer was very tasty. Food was very delicious. Drinks made my day. Interior was very good. Staff was very polite and friendly. Lightning was very interesting.
I had steak and chocolate pie.
The steak was quite smoky and it was very flavourful.
I'm a sweet tooth so the chocolate pie was amazing and I really liked it.
Amazing steak very juicey and tasty the waiter is very nice and knows what he's doing unfortunately i didnt know his name
We will visit again to eat the amazing food
Thanks for the nice time
Steaks were juicy, flavorful and amazingly grilled.
Service was prompt and friendly, but a little coordination could make it better. The ambience was just amazing and had us.
Steaks were juicy, flavorful and amazingly grilled.
Service was prompt and friendly, but a little coordination could make it better. We had three different staff coming by to check on us as we were having our meals, which was a tad disruptive.
That minor issue aside, it was all in all a lovely dinner.
was good value as we used entertainer for this meal.
Pleasantly surprised! Since the weather is getting better we went for a walk and decided to give a try in this place. They have a nice terrace where your kids can play around outside on the street and you can still see them. We had a tomawhak and it was absolutely amazing! Very tender and juicy! And the burrata salad was sooo good with mushrooms with truffle sauce! Will try other dishes next time!
It’s a steakhouse with a relaxed vibe. Not a formal fine dining steak place, but still very good food and great service. The old fashioned drink could be a little better ( bar tender may need improvement ) but food was spot on. The salad was good and burger and fries were juicy and crisp and fresh. Swapnil’s service was perfect.
This is truly a gem of a place for steaks. We went for the Wagyu Filet minion and New York Strip. The Wagyu Filet minion was just awesome and buttery soft all the way through. No part was chewey. So was the New York Strip. Wish there were more options of Wagyu meat cuts to enjoy.
Worth going multiple times.
Veggie friends look away now. This post contains a lot of chat about meat, meat and yep you guessed it, more meat!. Last week the husband and I were invited to try Graze, the quirky steakhouse located in La Ville Hotel, City Walk. This was our first time visiting the restaurant, which I have to be honest I hadn’t really heard much about despite visiting the hotels other venues, Chival and Look Up. The restaurant has recently employed a new Executive Chef, Moritz Neumann, who has come in and completely overhauled the menu, with exciting dishes and new cuts all from Australia.
Extremely polite and courteous staff. The service was quite smooth, considering it is the Ramazan month. I tried the organic chicken in their menu, which was great. The shrimp cocktails were quite delectable too.

I have never thought a good restaurant is within this hotel. All things is excellent in this restaurant. My husband and I have gone for a Saturday brunch. Their Saturday brunch is a five set course menu with unlimited beverages for 3 hours. So this means heaven for us! We started with a burger.
There is nothing extraordinary with the served burger, but nevertheless it is still good. After the burger, they have served the pumpkin soup and caesar’s salad. There is nothing extraordinary with the salad. The pumpkin soup was good as well. It is served with a very good bread! Lovely, it was. The next dishes they serve were fried calamari and the grilled chicken. I would have to tell you that we have requested for second servings for these 2. We have loved it. They were topped with chili mayo. I would be coming back for this! The next was the beef, a fat beef but amazingly delicious! We have even asked the kitchen where the beef was from, out of our curiousity. We have ordered for another one, as well. Desert plate was great as well. They got churros (with caramel and chocolates dips), macaroons, eclair, yogurt and cheesecake. And to make this brunch special was their beverages! I have to name drop our server for that day for his wonderful job! His name is Vivek! He has been so attentive to our needs. He has let me tried all their cocktails which were so good! In general, this restaurant deserves a 5/5 points! Hopefully, they would be keeping their deals in entertainer so that people can afford to go back again and again. Thank you Graze! It was a wonderful experience and I would say see you soon!
Steaks to rival Ruths Chris's! We dined at Graze for the first time last Thursday and it was FANTASTIC! Lovely setting in the La Ville hotel, staff were friendly, knowledgeable and so welcoming, the food was delicious - I had tenderloin steak, my husband had the rib eye - both were cooked to perfection, with some nice sides to share, followed by a complimentary birthday cake. The price is great considering the quality of the food and first-class service. Really looking forward to returning sometime soon to test out the lazy Saturday brunch ...and definitely again for another steak. After one visit its already one of my favourite's!
Went there for a Saturday brunch. The place was cozy and staff were very friendly and accommodating. They right away serve your drink and starters the moment you settled on your table. The ambiance is perfect. You can see the chefs and cooks busily preparing your next meal. Food was great. Meditteranean food serve ala-french style. Perfect for a date in a fine dining setting even on a Saturday brunch. Good selection of concocted drinks. Highly recommended and will definitely come back soon.
The place is nicely located in the middle of city walk. The staff were very friendly and tried their best to take care of us. I took the ribs and they were excellent. Also one of us was not happy with the main course so they were very friendly and cooperative. So overall I can only recommend to go and have a meal and enjoy the outdoor seating.
It was an evening of just walking in city walk till my stomach started to crave for a good steak so ask my cousin and her wife to sit and just chill .in the place where im at theres a lot resto that serves what i need and so we decided to sit in Graze gastro in la ville marriot.and was my craving satisfied indeed it was.i ordered for a T bone steak complimented with a pepper sauce while friend and cousin had an aged tenderloin and salmon .dishes complimented our pallets with satisfaction.the lady chef ruby was passionate with the dish we can tell plating wise and taste wise.the manager louise was so ever accomodating checking us everytime possible .we will be back and thats for sure.hands up for food and service in this Graze gastro grill.
Went there last Sunday for diner, we where served by Tatyana and Louise, both where very friendly and professional. Food was amazing.
Will go back for diner soon.
Lazy Grazing Feast - A very surprising and enjoyable lazy Saturday Brunch... I highly recommend this for families or just chilling with your friends.... The food and ambiance is great!
A very pleasant place with very hospitable staff. I had a steak and it was done to perfection. Ask for Chief Ruby she is so passionate about every dish and you can see it reflected in the taste. I am going to consider this restaurant a destination that I must visit whenever in Dubai. I thank her for the personal attention by coming out to see if I had any comments. Freddy my waiter was so welcoming and looked after me trying to cater to all my requirements.
Went there with three friends for a good steak and we were not disappointed. Steaks are absolutely to die for - juicy and cooked exactly as you want it. Service is very fast amd efficient. Probably also has to do something with the restaurant being almost empty when we were there. What I also appreciated is the staff's knowledge and understanding of the menu. Ambiance of the place is very pleasant, as the rest of the La Ville Hotel. Highly recommended.
Incredible Saturday brunch experience .
Exceptional hospitality by Marouane; and a very attentive manager in Joao. The whole staff actually made the experience that much more enjoyable
Fantastic food taste, quality and variety and a novel concept in serving
Definitely coming back and definitely highly recommended .... any day!
Great atmosphere, very hospitable staff, social, casual and friendly.
Food is good, a bit pricy but great quality.
Nice spot for a late back start of your weekend and outside seating recommended if weather allows.
We visited GrazeGastro Grill at La Ville Hotel in City Walk, they offer complimentary valet parking at the entrance.
We ordered the Mexican melted cheese for starters, soft melted cheese with just the right taste, not too light and not too strong. We also got the complimentary bread selection which went perfectly with the cheese.
For the main dish, we had a Australian angus and the short ribs, both were average. We had a mashed potato with truffle oil as a side dish, this made the steak and ribs taste better as I had them together, the texture was nice and I could really taste the truffle which went well with the mashed potatoes.
For my son, we ordered fish and chips from the kids menu, I didnt try it but he seems to have loved it.
Anyone visiting this place - its a sin not to try the Mexican melted cheese!
They also accept entertainer vouchers..
Order crispy calamari , main order Filet Mignon, Scottish Salmon and baked potato with lebnah.
The service very good, stuff friendly and ambiance very nice.
One of the best steaks I ever had. Soft and cooked perfectly. These are the experts in cooking and preparing a proper steaks. Today I finally found a real steakhouse.
We entered the restaurant due to nice ambiance and variaty of foods (lazy brunch). Music good, decoration nice, servers are friendly and very interested. Some foods very oily but they take feedback very serious. Drinks and sweets are really good... i recommend.
Great ambience and menu. Good service. Menu is great for ordering sharing starters . More variety on the wine list would be nice. Location and decor is fantastic.
I always love the idea of saturday brunch because it reminds me of the tradition back home to meet friends and have meals with them on saturday. Starters are all good especially the gapacho and the guac. Moving on to the main course. After we killed all starters, the waiter brought us the grilled shrimp, salmon, gnocchi with mushroom sauce, braised beef, grilled steak with corn sauce and the fried soft shell crab with potatoes. The best one is the grilled shrimps. It is beautifully cooked and the sauce really compliment the shrimps. We ordered 3 times and at the end we had to stop because our belly was about to explode. The salmon is also very good and moist. The steak is also well cooked but i don't think the sauce is the winner in this case. Gnocchi is also super good! Tbh i'm quite dissapointed with the desserts because they look catchy and yummy but the taste is confusing.
Saturday Brunches are trending in Dubai! Looks like the demand for having a good time on Saturdays is going up. We found one such perfect spot that offers Lazy Grazing Brunch at the Graze Gastro Grill located in the La Ville Hotel and Suites in City Walk. Full review on Link Below!
We headed to Graze after work to have a few bites to eat.
The server was very attentive and passionate about the menu and was willing to recommend several options that we were not sure about.
A complementary house bread basket was offered with cream cheese and butter, which was very delicious -finally we found fluffy fresh baked bread in Dubai!
We opted to have the light snacks no meat although the place is known for its carnivorous menu. We, however, opted for all the non meat/poultry and seafood options which included Brussel sprouts with veal bacon, baked feta cheese on a bed of tomato compote, mixed green salad, grilled artichokes and calamaris, all of which were very good.
I visited with some friends just for a drink so this is a brief review. The place was the only part of the hotel we could sit inside with children where alcohol is served. A pointless local rule. Service was OK. We were the only guests so should get a decent service. A bonus point for not serving the usual brands of beer (Heiney, Stella Becks, Amstel etc are so passé) even Peroni is fast becoming ubiquitous. A cocktail we had was a bit sickly sweet from perhaps the grenadine. Anyway, we'll perhaps give the restaurant a sample over the summer.
Entered this place by chance and had the filet mignon made from Irish beef that was excellent . However, the most interesting thing is that the bread was top class , made in house and way better than any other place in that I have tried...10/10 for the wonderful bread ..hope they will sell it in the future.
Oh how much I wish the menu was on here so that I can tell you exactly what I had!
It was a six-ish swing by mainly because I loved the decor, so we didn't go further than starters.
Chef's complement was a pretty little blob of mashed potato and minced meat with a hint of cheese, it gave me the hint that I picked my supper spot right.
We had mussels first, beautiful prepared and fresh (and a bit too small but the dish had about right for two people) we then took a small break with their fries which later on became our signature break in -between-starters-snack, the fries were crunchy and seasoned.
Next up was oysters, they are bought one by one (28 dhs each) so being my first ever, I went for one. It was a mouthwatering mix of spinach, cheese, seasalt and well the oyster, it had a beautiful texture and made me want to congratulate the chef personally.
Next was a dried tomato and halloumi cheese dish
(As far as I remember) it was good but being low on diary I had some of it on the bread that came with the butter (which btw had some nut flavour and was ahmazing) but my partner in crime ate the whole thing.
Next in line was seasoned minced meat made into finger long cylinders (I refuse to call them hotdogs). The meat was beautifully seasoned, slightly spicy and roast to just the perfect degree. This was my favourite pick of the night.
I thankfully still had some fried left to go all American and raid my sausage and fries with ketchup, the meal was great the service even greater though I noticed they take around 15 minutes to prepare the bill for everyone and about 10 more to work the card (please fix that)
There definitely will be a next time, probably to try the desserts and the mains.
Absolutely loved this place! Genuinely friendly, helpful and professional staff. Amazing food. Gorgeous interior. Mature and decent crowd. Highly recommend this place! (Had the baked feta cheese, gnocchi and steak with mushroom sauce - the chef is a genius!)
We were only here for desserts, this is part of my full review which is now live on my blog!
We were served a variety of desserts here but by far the Mississippi dark chocolate pie and the Japanese cotton cheesecake,
The chocolate pie was extremely rich and hence the vanilla and black pepper ice cream really cut through the richness, the balance of this dish was absolutely superb.
The cheesecake was light and fluffy and not too rich, it really was the perfect dessert.
The following review has been taken out of a full review of the hotel. Please visit my blog if you would like to read the full review.
As our laughs got louder and our bellies got bigger, we all headed to Graza Gastro Grill for our desserts! There, they had what I would say one of the most interesting interior designs the hotel has to offer. The ceiling was full of gorgeous artwork, I couldn't help but continue to stare at the ceiling while walking! Hey, this might as well been named "Look Up Gastro Grill!".
The desserts were just as beautiful as their interior design! We were severed a few different desserts that the chefs have specialty made for us, and we couldn't have been more pleased with the selection! We each devoured all the desserts, making this night even sweeter than it already was! And before we even started on our main desserts, we were served a pre-dessert dessert!! It was a scoop of berry sorbet served in a small glass. It tasted delicious! Just the thought of having a pre-dessert dessert was incredable. I'll never say no to extra desserts!
For our main desserts we had;
Japanese Cotton Cheesecake
This cheesecake was served with wild berries coulis and raspberry espuma. And to put it in one word; Heaven.
This was by far my favorite dessert! And although I've tried many variations of the Japanese Cheesecake, this was certainly the most delicious! And most fluffy too! I can't recommend this dessert enough!
Smoked Vanilla
This ice cream in a jar was served with biscuit crumbs, cinnamon cake, red apple sorbet, lemon cream. It gave us quite the show when the waitress opened the jar's lid and released the smoke that was contained in the jar. It was quite the sight to see, and the dessert to eat!
Dark Chocolate Mississippi Pie
This heavenly chocolate pie (although had more of a brownie consistency) was served with caramel popcorn, vanilla and black pepper ice cream. Yet another must-try dessert! I loved the deep chocolate taste, I believe it was ganache, if I'm not mistaken. All I am sure of is that it was extremely tasty!
White Chocolate Zabaglione
This was severed alongside vanilla glazed fruits and amaretti crumble. Quite possibly the simplistic dessert, but do not disregard it! It's stunning presentation of the edible flowers and delicious thin white-chocolate flakes kept all of us foodies smiling! If you're a white-chocolate fan, this certainly should be your go-to dessert!

Went here with my friends and ordered the 1kg tomhawk. It was cooked to perfection and was really juicy. A lil over priced but worth a try for all meat lovers
We were skeptical when trying this place, partly because myself and my wife are creatures of habit, and partly because the combined rating of the restaurant was low (to me under a 4 is low)
Reading the reviews I noticed that a single review of 1/5 had skewed the overall rating. This was the 1st time my freshmen statistics class has come in handy.
On our 1st visit to the walk we were torn between trying a new place and sticking to good old butcher shop. We lived a little!
The ambience is what you would expect of a higher dining experience. The tables are situated in a way that privacy is maintained but you can also enjoy the surroundings. You either sit facing the open kitchen or the floor to ceiling glass pannels that show off that part of the walk's almost 1890's Paris feel.
The staff are very courteous, knowledgeable and attentive. The lunch specials were explained (it was seafood today) and the general segregation of the menu was explained.
The menu has some "classics," some "sides" some seafood and of course, steaks.
The list is pretty good. Black Angus cuts from Omaha, irish cuts from... Ireland, australian cuts including wagyu, and finally true kobe wagyu cuts.
Me being me, with my belief (to some degree) that Americans are better at beef than most, chose a 200gm (7oz) fillet.
We also ordered grilled asparagus, roasted potatoes, and finally the Japanese Cheesecake to top it off (with a shot of espresso for good measure)
Two types of bread were served with butter and a cream cheese based sauce. Very good.
The steaks were perfectly cooked. Thick, pink centers, slightly crisp outside (I like that)
The beef was buttery. Beefy. Not overly strong. But also not for those who dont want a beefy beef. It wasnt overtly "barnyard-y." But it was also not devoid of beefness as is hiw stakes taste when ordered at mainstream low tier stake places.
They were served with the pepper sauce we ordered. Went very well with the steaks and made the buttery flesh almost velvety.
The asparagus was roasted but still crisp. The beef bacon wasnt crumbled on top but served in whole slices which is not to my liking.
The potatoes were well done.
All in all a great dining experience. All in the bill was two dirhams under 600. It was, in my opinion, well worth the price.
If you like straight forward, smooth, well cooked beef with great tasting sides in a private no fluff, dare I say "modern" atmosphere, this place deserves a try.
We will be back.
Tried the place last week. The food was good and the service was excellent. They did make a few mistakes in our order but its understandable as they had just opened. The chef also personaly came to apologize for the small mistake.
Overall good food and great service. Only issue is that the outside area felt "incomplete"
I usually never go to places i cant find reviews for but i just took the risk and went inside this place in city walk...
They started with a complimentary brad basket with an amazing spread and butter and were very generous kept refilling the basket...
We ordered gnocchi and burrata for starter which were really good
The steak is amazing i took it with a cheese and balsamic sauce, and also seabass with latin sauce very good a bit spicy
Service is really attentive.. i think its a nice edition to city walk for meat lovers..
Having been disappointed by a recently opened restaurant (as well as an unnamed fine dining establishment that’s been open for years), I was a bit wary accepting an invite to another just opened venue. However, from the moment I was greeted, it was clear that my evening at Graze was going to be a special one. Without a menu to go on, I wasn’t sure what to expect (how does one actually define a ‘Gastro Grill’), nor did I know what specifically would be on the menu (nothing is currently posted on the website). It’s pretty rare for me to go somewhere and not have an idea of what’s going to be available, but sometimes we have to live life on the edge, don’t we?
