Loved the food and ambiance. We tried Salmon and beef teriyaki, quantity was perfect and tasted delicious. Loved the ambiance of restaurant. Will definitely come again to try sushi as they have some good options.

Tanuki is definitely one of our favorite places for the freshest and largest variety of sushi in Dubai, but also offers a Pan-Asian menu with the emphasis on Chinese and Japanese food cooked fresh. Here you have the option to sit indoors or outside, near the Dubai Fountains. Indoors, there is a huge cherry blossom tree, adding a Japanese touch to the whole ambiance. Also, the kitchens are open, so you can actually watch the sushi being prepared, fresh on the spot.
Of the huge assortment of sushi and maki rolls they offered, we went for the Arigato, a medley of avocado, shrimp, arugula, and cucumber. The Mango Pleasure was a mix of seafood, cream cheese, and mango. My favorite was the Alaska; a yummy mix of crab, pineapple, avocado, and spicy mango sauce. For our mains, we tried the beef teriyaki with rice and seafood with egg noodles.
The desserts for quirky, sweet versions of maki: the kuro eru—sweet kiwi maki with cream cheese, pineapple, banana, strawberries, and almonds. Also, the divine mango and peach cheesecake maki rolls were delicious.
The Salmon Teriyaki is a must try . It is exceptionally good . The sushis is among the best i had . Keep it up ...

One of the last two restaurants I dined at in early March, @tanukidubai offers an incredible selection of Japanese dishes right from different types of sashimi and sushi rolls to miso, katsu, tempura, noodles and more. My favorites from the dinner included arigato rolls, chili garlic edamame, shrimp tempura and yasai yakisoba.

What a FAB way to start of my dine-in at Tanuki. Exactly for what wanted, crispy shrimp and a saucy finish! Nothing less and nothing more.
What did I love about my dine in?
- Great ambiance and quick service
- Ample of seating space - I had to mention this cause I noticed most Japanese restaurants have really limited seating.
- Fresh sushi rolls.
- Decadent variety of main course and sushi options.
- A good mix of standard rolls and fusion.
- Budget friendly dine in.
- Available on entertainer as well.
All in all a pretty cosy and pleasant sushi joint located at the Dubai Mall.

We revisited Tanuki in Dubai Mall as they introduced some new items to their menu. We have always enjoyed their Sushis and after trying the new menu, we have become a fan of Tanuki. Definitely worth visiting again and again. This time we saw a lot of crowd as this place is becoming popular day by day.
We started with their fresh Edamama soya beans with sea salt. This is like an appetizer while we wait for the Sushis.
We started with their newly introduced Sensei Sushi which is a shrimp Tempura of Avocado, cream cheese, Chilli Pepper and Mix Sauces. The mix sauces are superb in taste and the combination of the fillings left us craving for more.
Arigato Sushi is with shrimp, arugula, Avocado and Cucumber in Unagi sauce. This one is our old time favourite in Tanuki.
Another new introduction is their EBI Tempura which is crispy fried Shrimps with Tentsuyu sauce. The crispiness of the prawns tempura makes it very crunchy. This one is a super hit Sushi. I am glad they introduced this.
Mango EBI Sushi is Shrimp Tempura with Mango, Cucumber & truffle oil. This gives a sweet and salty taste of the tempura and the mango topping.
Tsurai EBI Tempura is Shrimp tempura in Dynamite sauce. This is another new introduction. Dont miss this one.
Try their ever green fresh juices and smoothies, Kiwi Celery, Avocado Mint and Mango Berries. You will love all the three specially the Mango Berries.
Tanuki is one of my favourite Japanese restaurants in Dubai .All food very delicious and very fresh ,very fast delivery, amazing service!Love this restaurant and will order more and more 🍤🍣🥟😋

7 years of visiting Dubai mall, probably this is the best Restaurant for sushi I came across, the variety is tremendous, you must try the deluxe sushi it's simply best ever, and the Dynamite shrimps no one can beat them!! The service was super great. A special thanks to Sara who had a warm attitude, very much customer focused and kind
