Srilankan cuisine has got to be on our top hit list when it comes to food and thanks to @lakwilrestaurant our love for it has grown even more.

We started our meal with battered spicy prawns - fresh prawns with a thick crispy batter sautéed in peppers and chilli. We are not normally the ones to go for battered prawns but these ones definitely made it to the exception list because of the spiced Srilankan flavours in each bite.

Following this we ordered the Srilankan mutton curry with garlic flavored rice, the perfect combination of spicy mutton gravy and rice purely seasoned in butter and fried garlic.
The authenticity and richness of the Srilankan food here left us in complete delight!

In a word, or a few: Ever been to Sri Lanka? This place will take you there.
Lovely service, pleasant staff, delicious food. What more can you possibly want?
Been here twice now and it's so easy to return.
Prices are really reasonable, portions are really generous and you get a great variety of options.
We had garlic rice, shrimp curry, kottu paratha, deviled chicken and a fresh garden salad.
Kottu came with a beef curry which was ok - a bit chewy, as was the beef in the kottu.
Haven't tried dessert - that's for the next visit.
Lovely crab curry with rice and arrack to go with it.
Ordered a seafood platter and absolutely loved the squid, prawns and fish. This place is definitely a hidden gem.
If you wanna try 100% real sri lankan food this is the place you should order. Yesterday i ordered BEEF CURRY and POL ROTI. The best meal i ever had in dubai. Amazing and Real Taste of Sri Lankan food
Lakwil have become our favourite Sri Lankan restaurant in the city. Being Sri Lankan, we don't have many options but this restaurant have been proving themselves so far. Good food, sometimes a little bit spicy but delicious! Lively atmosphere and the live music is a good addition.
The service needs some improvement.
Nice place. Real Srilankan Cuisine... value for the money..Good place to visit with family. nice staff with nice hospitality. I had pol rotti (i feel the real smell) with sambol, fish curry & string hopper's.
We met with some of our Srilankan friends yesterday for a lunch! I was beyond thrilled to drink wood apple juice which I remember eating as a fruit two decades ago! It was the best one :) I also tried their fried cuttlefish which was amazing .. we tried a lot of food some of them were too spicy for my taste :) the ambience was great and friendly staff :) overall we had an amazing experience:)
Great ambiance. Visited here for my friend birthday celebration. It was really awesome. Food is sooo nice and yummy 😋. That 2 girls are signing sooo nice. They have such a lovely voice. Hope to visit again.
Awesome place for some spicy Sri Lankan food.. we visited Srilanka few years ago.. we just love their cuisine.. We were lucky enough to visit them yesterday when they had their Crab night on Fridays.. they had 4 different variety of crab masala - butter garlic, chili crab, Masala crab and the best and my favorite was Jafna masala crab..it was awesome...the buffet spread was so tasty.. value for money for sure..will definitely recommend this place... This place just right place to remind the authentic Sri Lankan dishes. Atmosphere, food and overall experience 8/10. The buffet offers variety for selections and lovely live music goes hand in hand in hand.
Make sure you try Hot battered cuttlefish & Fried hamour.
