Breakfast at the cocoa room is divine! It’s been on my bookmarks for forever and I finally got a chance to visit. If you’re going over the weekend, I’d definitely recommend going early cause they fill up and how!
If you’re a dessert person like me, their menu leaves you spoilt for choice. After much deliberation, we settled for the activated charcoal waffles, the chocolate waffles and some eggs to off set all of the sweet! I was very pleased with everything.
The only reason I took a star is because I wasn’t too happy with the order. I think they missed out on one of the dishes and we ended up waiting for much longer than needed.
We were here for breakfast and was delighted by their offerings! They have an exquisite menu for breakfast but we decided to go with classics:
- Roasted beef eggs benedict - super creamy and absolutely delicious! We highly recommend this to all the eggs benedict lovers out there - it doesn’t disappoint!
- The raspberry pancakes - subtle hint of sweetness from the white chocolate layered on top and the raspberries very well completed the sweetness with a tad bit of sourness - loved it!
- Saffron Milk cake - you just can’t go wrong with milk cakes, can you? Another one of our favorite! We personally didn’t like the roasted sesame seeds on top but besides that it tasted delicious!
The coffee was amazing as well! The portion sizes were really good for the price! We would definitely recommend you come here next for you breakfast fix!
My favorite place in town for breakfast. Everything I have had there is so satisfying and amazingly delicious. I like going there in big groups so that we order more food and have a bit of everything. Our favorite breakfast dessert is the french toast. Soft and melts in your mouth. It is nice to have with coffee after food.

Loved the Oreo pancakes - they were really rich and fudgey.
The CR hot chocolate is part milk part dark chocolate and is really delicious especially if you don’t like overly sweet hot chocolate.
Hit Me Waffles - poached egg, pulled chicken and bbq sauce on two waffles. The waffle is soft and pairs well with the chicken and bbq sauce.
Mayan hot chocolate - for the cinnamon lovers!
Ambience is great, service is great - managers kept checking in on us, reservation is a must as it gets super busy on the weekends.
Great place for brunches. Their signature hot chocolate and Nutella French toast are a must try.
I have visited this place 2 days in a row and absolutely love their food! I tried the "hit me waffles" and nutella french toast. The waffles were buttery and soft with pulled chicken, lightly drizzled with barbecue sauce. I loved the toffee sauce on the french toast. Coffee portions are really big!
Love the food and atmosphere! but hate the waiting list
The food and service was really good . If only the prices were a little more affordable I would be going there quite often . 75-85dhs for pancakes is a bit of stretch . A single piece of sourdough can be 15-20 dhs. But dubai has enough people who are probably happy to pay these prices . So I’ll def. recommend this place for them.
