I only ordered their Veggie Momos and Special Darjeeling Milk Tea. I was alone and I wasn’t really starving. I wanted something light. Veggie Momos - so-so. Not a fan. You need sauce to enjoy it. Without the sauce, it’s pretty bland. Unlike the other veggie momos that I have tried from other restos, you don’t need any sauce to enhance the taste of the momos. Special Darjeeling Milk Tea - very good! I love it. Now this is something that I will keep ordering from now on. The taste is perfect - right sweetness and creaminess. I’ll go back and bring my friends next time. I want to try their other dishes.

(التعليق الأصلي) This place dishes out the best Khao Swey in Dubai! The vibes here make you feel like you're in some cozy spot in Nepal. They serve loads of Nepali favourites like Momo's and Thupka and also several popular dishes from Tibet, Burma, Bhutan and ofcourse Chinese too. Head there for a steaming cup of Darjeeling Tea,  momo's and Khao Swey, just perfect for this weather😍 the staff are friendly and hospitable and food was served really fast. Infact they even gave us complimentary soup. They have ample seating and loads of RTA parking around the vicinity.

It was one of those days when I was alone at home and cooking for one person sounded too much work. I was carving chinese but something desi and momos, and that's when Darjeeling cafe came to my rescue. We have ordered momos quite a lot of times from this place but this was my first time ordering a meal for myself. The portion size and packaging were great and best was the taste. This was quite a big portion size for one person and I must say, there's are the momos that reminds me of one I used to eat back home in Delhi. <br/>Good quality,great portion, absolutely value for money.

As I was hungry and have in the past rrally enjoyed north eastern food, I quickly checked the reviews on Zomato. The 4.1 rating was enough to convince me to try this place.<br/><br/>But, at the end of the meal i was a quite disappointed with my experience. I tried the chicken momo and the Chicken thukpa. The momo was decent. Honestly, I have had better momos in Dubai. The thukpa was also nothing great.. Very basic.<br/><br/>The thing that really turned me off was the sauce rhey served along with the momos. It seemed to have gone bad, it smelled and tasted weird. In a time, when people are already skeptical about visiting restaurants, it is all the more important for the restaurants to serve fresh food. I would really recommend the owners to double check their dishes/sides before serving it to the customers.

I like the food overall. Chicken phaley is good. But the size of chicken momos that I ordered is the smallest i have had in Dubai, really small. I like their peanut chutney though, nobody else serves it here.

A gem of a place with the best momos in town. Our favorite momo is the mushroom and cheese momo. The soft thin outer covering with the juicy cheesy mixture is just awesome. The chutneys - both the peanut and spicy are yumm. The thumka, triple schezwan, maggi, pasta, chili garlic noodles are also amazing dishes. The platters are a total value for money. The place is cozy and the staff is friendly.

Small Startups are often the ones that provide great, relishing food at an affordable price. Darjeeling Café is one such great startup restaurant. Incredible dishes. Momos were simple yet so flavourful Nd the taichi was amazing! Spicy and delicious. Loved it!

The momos - both non-vegetarian and vegetarian - give you an authentic feel and taste. The chicken chowmein and the pan-fried noodles are very tasty and the portion size is nice for 2 people. And don't forget to try the tea.

Worst food ever had in Dubai in 4 years. Really disappointed waste of time & money. Their Chinese food speaks the worst skill and bad knowledge about the food. Had to leave all five dish in middle. Really bad choice😞

This restaurant was a hidden find for me. Loved their momos freshly made piping hot with yummy sauces. On the interior I would say lit was going on 😉. We were three in a table it would have been great if they had served the dishes together or told us about the time we three got served in different times when one was almost done the other one got his order. Otherwise it is a great momo joint in Dubai. Been there enjoyed it and I order them also for delivery.

I am a momo fan and this place is one of the best restaurants for momos in Dubai. I love the corn cheese momo which oozes our cheese and a perfect balance between cheese and corn. These slithery shiny momos can be perfect for your evening cravings or dinner. Try their peanut base sauce it’s so yummy with the momos.

The place is nice, small but nice interior. Food is decent. We tried Momos, veg as well as non veg, chili garlic noodles, vegetables gravy, etc. and everything was quite good. The portion size is good, service is relatively fast.

The food of this place is good but had A TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE today while dining. From 9:45 pm till 11:15 no trace of food on table. People who came later than us were served immediately. Only one item was served, one dish was served wrongly and the others NEVER came on time. The waiters were LEAST BOTHERED even after calling 4-5 times. Finally we had to cancel all order and the best was kept for last- bill had all the items which we never had. Kept waiting for making payment as well!!! NEVER COMING BACK again because of those two waiters!

I’ve ordered a few times from this place and they do not keep food hygiene. The veggies and noodles smell old and stale like they’re not freshly prepared. If you paid already, they would not even hear the complaint - arrogant bunch of workers who’re very confident of the distasteful food they send.

I’m not sure what I ordered - food or oil!! Each time was soaking in oil, making the most unhealthy it can get. I have ordered for Chinese from multiple places, but never like this! Chilli Garlic Noodle, Chilli Potato, Chilli Paneer - all oil laden and thus extremely unhealthy. I would avoid ordering at any cost!

I used to come here when it was a very small and cozy shop. The momos were so good. I was even a regular once they moved to a different location. However I noticed that the quality of the food started to go down drastically. When u enter the restaurant now there is a weird peculiar smell. Fumes from the kitchen make you all sweaty. Not a very good feeling. They used to have amazing cold coffee and crunchy chicken lollipops. These were my favorite. But I haven't gone in a long time now because there is so much that has changed most importantly the food quality and quantity has changed. DISAPPOINTED.

This beautiful lil Cafe, so colorful and serves some delicious Darjeeling specialities. Must try: Darjeeling Special Tea (milk based), Organic Green Tea, Chicken Cheese Phaley and Schezwan Chicken Momos😍

After smearing each other in colour and bathing, post Holi celebrations, we wanted to eat something that took us back home. I want to thank the team at Darjeeling Cafe for making the day so special by feeding us food we were craving for. The momos were just so so good! We loved the teas and shakes. Keep up the good work!

Nothing great to add in review. Ordered triple schezwan chicken fried rice and It was something else. There was no gravy on the top of the layer nor it was given separately. Omelette not there. Have no idea what was delivered. Hope they bring a change in their cooking and preparation.

We decided to give this place a try to let go of our momo craving and we did not regret our decision one bit. We tried the chicken and cheese steamed momos, chicken tandoor momos, chilly chicken momos and afghani styled chicken momos. All of it were too good. The cheese was oozing out of the chicken cheese momos after every bite. They had put it generous portions of fillings as well. We even tried the milk tea with was a perfect combination with our momos

A small cosy cafe with very good lighting, ambience and decor . We ordered : corn & cheese momos, veg momos, mushroom momos, paneer momos, cheese momos and veg mushroom and cheese maggi . The monks are served with a veg broth . All of them tasted brilliant . Definitely recommend all the momos and their mushroom cheese maggi. A must visit .

My husband wanted to have the clear soup that comes with momos back in India. We searched and found that Darjeeling cafe served that. We ordered 2 non veg combos for delivery. In our selection, we chose chicken fried rice. Instead we got veg fried rice which is really not restaurant quality. The momos were small, had peculiar smell and had very less stuffing inside. Guess they were made small for combos. The actual pics of momos showed them as fairly big. The only good thing about the combo was the chicken manchurian where the chicken was soft and tender. And tasty. But again it was too spicy for our taste. This is probably the first and last time we have ordered.

Went here for an evening out and had a lovely experience indeed. <br/><br/>Order the chicken and buff momos which came with a clear broth .. I liked the chicken momos in particular. So delicious that we ended up ordering another plate of the same. There are two sauces kept on the table. Came across this place while taking a walk in the evening. Since I am from Darjeeling, I had to give it a try. Went there and found the place quite interesting. The decor is lovely. Reminded me of my hometown. Ordered my fav aloo bhujia. Its nepali style aloo dum and bhujia. The taste was same as my hometown. Ordered a veg momo then. Loved the momo and the soup. Reminded me of the momos of back home. Will visit this place every weekend so that I dont miss home.

I’m a big fan of MOMOS😻tho I’m a big fan of Darjeeling cafe❤️If you’re a big fan of momos like me then push yourself to Darjeeling cafe and try varieties of momos here💯I got addicted to their momos like seriously 😋They serve the best momos here tbh and initially me personally was liking only fried momos ,but after tasting their steamed momos I got addicted to both fried and streamed 😅also their pasta is amazing 😋I’ve tried white sauce pasta last time and the taste still sticks here in my tongue and looking forward to try their pink sauce pasta soon. I highly recommend their pasta you guys 💯

I ordered a chicken grilled sandwich which turned soggy by the time it reached me! Whole lot of mayonnaise in it.<br/>It was definitely not worth the money.

Amazing is the word for this small cozy joint.Have been here with one of my friends and the food simply tastes really good.Its a must try joint if you are a junk lover especially wai-wai chat... We ordered for mushroom momos in munchurian style, masala maggi, wai-wai chat, mini momos platter... Everything tasted delicious....

Momos! Little bundles of tasty heaven. I first experienced the joy of momos in north east India. I was struggling to find anything in Dubai that came close to how good the original tastes until my wife and I stumbled across this gem. Literally took me back to the street side in Shillong. The chili sauce they serve on the side is freshly made, I could drink it out of the bottle. The best momos in UAE by a long way! I recommend washing them down with a mug of Darjeeling Special tea.

One of the best cafes in town serving momos and the special darjeeling tea with great and cozy ambience. Staff is friendly. Very hygienic. Very less known to the people but its an amazing one. Visited many times and tried different things everytime and everything came out to be very delicious in darjeeling style. Can sit for hours alone with their special tea.. still i have got many more things to try there..

A cute cafe tucked away in Karama. The whole ambience and set up made us feel like we were far away from home. <br/>We had Schezwan chicken momos and honey chili potato for dinner. The momos were really good and the quantity was great. The potatoes were great too, i wish they were a little softer. I did feel the place is slightly overpriced for the location but nonetheless, the food was good

This was in my list since quite long and glad to have finally made it.. interesting decor for a cafe like many in the town. Slightly interior in Karama but google map will get you there. Ordered chicken steam mono, chicken thupka and chicken schezwan momo... Momo’s were soft and very tasty and served with hot soup which was equally nice.. loved the thupka and matched my palate..just loved it.. schezwan momo unlike others who try to have the sauce coated from outside, this one had chicken schezwan steamed inside the momo...could see only one waiter to take care - Anup. He was nice and advised us the best and we loved it.. this cafe has a extensive menu so am going there back again to try out their dishes...keep maintaining the taste and service and we shall keep coming 👍👏😋😋

Went to this cafe late night and wanted something refreshing! Their spring rolls were crisp and delicious... Vanilla shake was a perfect blend of sweet and milk! Cold coffee too was absolutely refreshing and light... Their whipped cream had a smooth texture and the sweetness was just right! Lastly the masala Maggie... It just blew my mind... Tangy and tasty is what I would say. The ambience is cozy and gives you a very welcoming vibe! Highly recommend this place.

Ine of my favorite place whenever I head to Karama. Love their momos which they serve with the soup. I ordered Thukpa, friend rice and everything was delicious I love the small cozy ambience giving a feel of Tibetan region. The chai that is served in Kulhad is my all time favorite. Nice quiet and cozy place. Thumbs up!

This place welcomes you with some bells on the door and beautiful raw interiors with the bright warm lights which sets the mood of mountain evening. This is a place for Momo lovers those who like the taste of authentic food. Everything we ordered was excellent and best service topped with the best Darjeeling Ice tea. My favourite place in town since yesterday. Good Job team👍

this cute lil snack joint in karama , will take you back to the street joints back home. the quirky interiors, wall hangings and the menu are all reminders of home...<br/>serving delicious food, the menu is so varied you will have to come back to get a full feel of their offering...<br/>we were group of four and we did try our best to try all that we could...<br/>we ordered for the veg momo platter, the schezwan maggi, chili and garlic noodles , manchow soup and the krapow chicken rice bowl...<br/>all the dishes were fabulous!! i loved the schezwan maggi was simply delicious, <br/>the manchow soup although different than usual tasted great too...<br/>the momos were cooked well...although we didnt find any cheese on the cheese momos..we informed the chef and they agreed to change it for us...<br/>overall a fantastic experience...will surely be visiting them more often!<br/>i would have given them a 5 star, but i found their service a bit slow and lack lustre..

Darjeeling cafe ... So near and yet so far away from home . Born and bred in Darjeeling , I was quite excited to visit this place. And I was not disappointed. Full marks for ambience. Loved the toy train on display<br/>Food... The momos were the hero of the day ... Cooked to perfection... Juicy and perfect seasoning . The shaphaley too was excellent . Loved the crispiness.<br/>The piro aludum was a big disappointment. .<br/>The thupka was quite good ,though I've had better ones in Darjeeling. But this was good enough.<br/>The sticky toffee pudding with ice cream was super.<br/>Iced tea was good though the Darjeeling tea was not my cup of tea .<br/>All in all a very good experience, and pocket friendly too ....must visit

Good and cozy ambience. We had chicken momo along with Darjeeling tea which tasted quite authentic. Impressed with the setup and Momos we also ordered honey chilli potatoes but unfortunately it wasn't per our expectations. They have lot of options for quick bites. Ordered Fried rice, Chicken momos,Buff momos and Prawn Momos. The filling inside the momos were bland and not enough. Cud taste only the dough. Fried rice was decent.
