Invited by an Indian friend it was my first visit and I asked him to select from the menu as he'd definitely know better than me what to choose! We enjoyed dahl fry, mirchi ka salan, 🌶 gaajar kahalawa and date ice-cream 🍨 (no sugar). The restaurant was full of Indian diners and it's a small place. Our waitress was very knowledgeable. Govinda's also serve wine 🍷 and have Daily Special menus. I'd love to go again and try some different items, really good and delicious food! Well done Govinda's!

Very well detailed & elaborated menu. Coming from foodie city of india food is something we indorians are very peculiar about and govinda'S team ensured that we were served upto the mark. The service is incredible - the staff suggested if I had ordered too much or dishes that complement one another better and were right every time. I went 4 times during my week stay in dubai and would definitely go again! Be sure to try the tandoori platter!
