I had the Umbrian pasta at cafe bateel and it was delicious! A very unique flavour and the service was wonderful. I will definitely be back!

Had it for the first time in MOE Barsha. Unbelievable cheesecake and halloumi sandwich . A must always for me Can come again and again ... super hospitality as well..

Cafe Bateel is a small cafe in Mall of the Emirates.
They are most of the time so even though we went on a weekday there were only 2 empty tables. So it is definitely a popular place.
We were welcomed with warmly smiles.
The staff who took our order was also very friendly and helped us in selecting our dishes. Knew the menu well as it was evident from the way she explained it.
Srvice was realy good.
The food serves was also really tasty.
We had Prawn Ricette and Mushroom risotto. Both tasted really good!.

The ambiance is that of a regular cafe in a mall. Tables close to each other so you wouldn't have much of privacy.
Pricing: Slightly on the higher side but the food is high quality. As I have written many times before. It doesn't feel nice to spend AED20 on water. But again it is normal in many restaurants here in Dubai.

Visited this place as it was recommended by a friend. We ordered the Chicken Panini which I found to have little less flavour than what I prefer. They provided some chilli paste after which made it a lot better. Also, ordered the veg halloumi sandwich with gluten-free bread which was yummy. The service was also very good. Overall, it was a good experience.
Eating here feels like 'home'.

Over the past month I have been to Cafe Bateel on a number of occasions, usually for a late breakfast, the service is great, the food is very good and most importantly very consistent, the coffee is well presented and the complimentary bread selection is fantastic... I struggle to say a restaurant is perfect and That S why it doesn't get a 5 star rating, however if marks were out of 10 I would give it 9/10... Only slight critisism is pricing is on the high side, but I guess they are in a prime location, MOE... Keep up the good work..
I love cafe bateel but this branch does not serve my favourite Belgian waffles however the service is amazing and I opted for an avocado toast and it tasted great!

Ordered my regular cafe latte & Mushroom risotto! Of course desert - original cheesecake ♥️
First was served bread basket with their home special balsamic vinaigrette & olive oil which you can also purchase from!
It was a divine combo! Couldn’t resist & stop myself with one ☝🏼
Coffee was roasted to perfection & it was a really good quality coffee.
Risotto was made really well with a lot of love & the server was so sweet he gave me extra parmesan 😍 who doesn’t love some extra cheese!
Ended my lunch with a craving for sweet tooth - Cheesecake. It was so light & fluffy! Just absolute goodness!!
Service was so smooth & friendly staff.

This branch def isn’t the best in terms of ambience but it is a ‘boutique’ after all.
Lobster pasta: 4/5. Taste was very good but it was very very spicy for some reason and I don’t think it was advertised that way. The lobster was good, maybe not enough of it. Overpriced for the dish overall.
Braised beef sandwich: 5/5. Simple yet delicious sandwich that is nice and filling.

Bateel has a wide variety of dates, chocolates and confectioneries. Perfect for gifting friends and family. You can always ask for a complimentary date. However, can get quite busy in store.

If you guys had a chance to visit Mall of Emirates please try this amazing dates shops. They have many selections of dates with all good and tasty filling. The staffs who took my order was really nice as well
