I had the Umbrian pasta at cafe bateel and it was delicious! A very unique flavour and the service was wonderful. I will definitely be back!

Cafe Bateel is a small cafe in Mall of the Emirates.
They are most of the time so even though we went on a weekday there were only 2 empty tables. So it is definitely a popular place.
We were welcomed with warmly smiles.
The staff who took our order was also very friendly and helped us in selecting our dishes. Knew the menu well as it was evident from the way she explained it.
Srvice was realy good.
The food serves was also really tasty.
We had Prawn Ricette and Mushroom risotto. Both tasted really good!.

The ambiance is that of a regular cafe in a mall. Tables close to each other so you wouldn't have much of privacy.
Pricing: Slightly on the higher side but the food is high quality. As I have written many times before. It doesn't feel nice to spend AED20 on water. But again it is normal in many restaurants here in Dubai.

Visited this place as it was recommended by a friend. We ordered the Chicken Panini which I found to have little less flavour than what I prefer. They provided some chilli paste after which made it a lot better. Also, ordered the veg halloumi sandwich with gluten-free bread which was yummy. The service was also very good. Overall, it was a good experience.
Eating here feels like 'home'.

Over the past month I have been to Cafe Bateel on a number of occasions, usually for a late breakfast, the service is great, the food is very good and most importantly very consistent, the coffee is well presented and the complimentary bread selection is fantastic... I struggle to say a restaurant is perfect and That S why it doesn't get a 5 star rating, however if marks were out of 10 I would give it 9/10... Only slight critisism is pricing is on the high side, but I guess they are in a prime location, MOE... Keep up the good work..
I love cafe bateel but this branch does not serve my favourite Belgian waffles however the service is amazing and I opted for an avocado toast and it tasted great!

I like to go to Cafe Bateel for breakfast and coffee only. The best thing is that they serve breakfast all day. My favourite dish is the Avocado on Toast and Iced Cappuccino with Almond milk.
Salmon and quinoa for lunch here.. the perfect protein fix that i was looking for
Salmon was grilled well and quinoa too wasn’t too soft or hard- the right consistency

Located in the busy mall with a cool and neat ambience, this cafe is a good spot to sit down after some hectic shopping. The cafe is clean and pretty with a fake garden like seating inside the mall. The staff are polite and prompt. We look our time to order while our waiter patiently stood by us over the pastry counter. The special cheesecake and raspberry cheesecake was such a pretty piece of dessert. The special cheesecake was not to sweet, creamy and base crunchy. I liked it. The raspberry one was the darkest bright pink glazed with sugar was a bit too sweet for my taste buds. The prices are a bit on the higher side. Overall I would rate the place as

I would like to say thought it was a good experience, I have seen some amazing cafe/bakery offer almost similar or better pastries for lesser rates.
Just visited this place an hour ago. Was craving for pasta so me and my sister we ordered mushroom and chicken risotto and batell chicken fusilli pasta. Good food just the service is slow.
This has to be the best place to have Arabic coffee and dates. Totally out of this world. I will be back to have more and to sample more food here. The staff are friendly and very helpful.
Excellent service and super friendly staff. The food is so delicious and light. I’ve been there many times and they are always good no matter how busy they are. I love everything in the menu especially the super food salad, Bateel risotto and the club sandwich. The cakes are something to fall in love with especially if really love dates.
No doubt that I was so happy to see Cafe Bateel at Mall of Emirates opposite the H&M store on the ground floor (glad they're not in food court)!
They have this garden kind of seating area in middle of the hustle and bustle of the busy mall. The tables are a bit too close to each other making it a little tough to walk in and out. I ordered the Avocado Salad which is my all time favorite here. It has fresh mixed greens base, asparagus, roasted chicken, half an avocado, parmesan reggiano cheese, cherry tomatoes, and a drizzle of caesar dressing. The taste is good and the quantity enough for one person meal. The breads they serve before are good but a bit hard. The service is really meticulous.
A good place to rest yourself if you're here shopping and feel tired doing so after a while 😁

Expect warm light, minimalistic design, tables for diners and coffee addicts, signature, regular and seasonal dishes, and all time favourite desserts on open display. Café Bateel serves mostly Mediterranean cuisine with regional varieties but no matter what you order, be sure it’s gonna taste great every time you visit. Consistency is Bateel’s strength.

Cafe Bateel never disappoints me when it comes to food quality. Today we ordered the four cheese pasta and salmon with quinoa. The waiter asked me if I was ok with the salmon cooked softly and that’s the way I like it so said yes, the salmon arrived almost cooked through, so I think it could have been cooked a bit less, but still overall excellent.

The New Café Bateel Mall of Emirates!I visited the new restaurant in the Mall of Emirates around 1pm. It was small but busy! Cafe Bateel is an established part of UAE society, well known and loved so I wasn’t surprised that was buzzing at that time of day! Definitely a restaurant for the whole family, couples, individuals and friends alike. The café was well lit, had contemporary interior green and brown themed design and as expected they had their pretty, tasty looking treats on display.The staff were very welcoming and offered quick service.
Chicken Soup - nice and creamy with juicy bits of chicken. Croutons added that extra crunch, but if you’re weird like me. I let the croutons soak a bit so it’s soft hehe! Superfood Salad - crunchy, fresh and fruity. Pomegranate seeds were a lovely added pop to the salad. Walnuts added to the earthy feel of the salad added a nice crunch. Altogether I was nice and filling. Salmon and Quinoa - a lovely combination of salmon and quinoa The food was actually surprisingly tasty, but a little dry by itself. Once drizzled with olive oil and vinegar it went down a treat! So we were not disappointed!We kept it fresh! Fresh Orange and Carrot juice were just that, refreshing to the taste!We tried the gluten-free strawberry tart which is a popular dessert, which is understood crunchy and sweet to the taste. Light and enjoyable a great portion size! This is a great value for money and guaranteed to be healthy, fresh and enjoyable! This café is needed in the Mall of Emirates as it gives you space to take a breather from all the shopping!

The Kahwa is one of the best I've had and they serve it with some cold dates and the Kholas Pistachio Pie is turned into one of our all time favorites.
The staff is friendly though pretty restless even when it's not crowded. But we love the desserts, food and the drink here.
Batel has been always great taste and wonderful menu. Two thumbs up. The asparagus soup is the best but all types of soups in the menu are as good. The salads are also super delicious but my favourite salad is Qinua salad.

I am an avid Cafe Bateel fan. When I don’t know what to eat but I’m really hungry, Bateel never disappoints.
What I usually order (over and over..)
1) Umbrian Rigatoni Pasta (simple yet delicious flavour combination, I usually ask them to remove the peas though...when I remember to😅)
2) Mushroom Toast with Avocado slices (small portion but big impact on taste - they are so accommodating when I ask for add ons)
3) Date Espresso Milkshake (this is my absolute favourite I could drink it over and over and over again)
Can’t wait to try other dishes..their limited edition 10th anniversary Lamb Confit dish was so good I’m sad it’s no longer on the menu. I hope it makes a comeback one day.

I was so happy to see that Cafe Bateel finally opened it's doors in Mall of the Emirates! It has been long overdue!
Located just in front of H&M, it's hard to miss. Size-wise, it's smaller than most of their branches, and although they serve most of the regular menu items, all their main courses are not offered in this branch. This branch only offers breakfast items, salads, soups (2 options only), pastas, sandwiches and desserts. Nevertheless, their pastas are delicious and I can always enjoy them, especially their Prawn Ricette, that one is a favorite of mine!
Overall, a decent place for a quick bite to eat, and especially a great choice for some delicious coffee and unique Arabian-inspired desserts!

This branch def isn’t the best in terms of ambience but it is a ‘boutique’ after all.
Lobster pasta: 4/5. Taste was very good but it was very very spicy for some reason and I don’t think it was advertised that way. The lobster was good, maybe not enough of it. Overpriced for the dish overall.
Braised beef sandwich: 5/5. Simple yet delicious sandwich that is nice and filling.
