A hidden gym in business bay. Great green Thai curry. It’s alongside the canal so it’s a great place to sit after work in the evening.

We had the red curry and minced beef with basil. Both the dishes were so good, with the right amount of flavour and spice. The service was also good. Definitely recommended!

As a Thai person, food is a big part of your life. This place has meets my cravings. They use fresh ingredients, especially for Pad See Eww. The pad Thai is a must every time we go there.

The staff are very attentive and smiley. I usually order/visit on a weekly basis. I’m addicted to this place.

Those pleasant days are back again to enjoy outdoor dining in UAE. I spent an afternoon in Business Bay at Khao Siam 45 restaurant. I opted to have my lunch outside to enjoy weather along with Dubai Canal flowing besides the restaurant. The restaurant serves delicious Thai food. I had my favorite Tom Yum Goong. As weather calls for warm bowl of soup, enjoyed seafood , lemongrass & kaffir lime flavors in the soup.

Khao Siam 45 is by far the best Thai restaurant I have visited so far in my life! If there’s anyone out there who is yet to try Thai cuisine, this is the place to go to! Trust me when I say this, this place has it all. The interiors are kept simple, yet lively, there’s some sort of positivity you get as soon as you enter. Of course, this could be mainly because of their manager Ms. Namthip, such a delightful lady! Always smiling, always willing to help. If she is around, make sure you seek her assistance in selecting dishes as per your liking. Also, Ms Minet, who was serving, was extremely polite and kind.
Now, let’s get to the food part:
Tried two soups, Tom Yam Goong and Tom Kha Gai. The former is basically hot and sour shrimp soup with mushrooms flavoured with lemongrass and kaffir lime leaves, which tasted amazing. I had requested for a spicy soup which would help in soothing my throat as I was down with cold and Ms Namthip suggested this. Perfect choice!
The other soup was the chicken Tom Kha soup which was sweet and sour milk based chicken soup with mushrooms flavoured with kaffir lime leaves and galangal herbs. It was delicious!
We had the Som Tam Thai salad which was papaya salad with roasted peanuts, chilies and dried prawns. Super spicy probably because of the chilies used, but I couldn’t stop myself from eating! It was so good.
Next came the appetiser which was Satay Gai. Chicken satay with peanut sauce, might sound boring?! But please make sure to try this one if you visit this place. It is one among the other must haves!
For mains, we had their Gang Phed Nuae which was Thai red curry with coconut milk and beef, served with steamed jasmine rice. The curry had amazing flavours! So unique, in a an extremely good way of course!
We had Pad Ka Praow Gai which was stir fried minced chicken with veggies served with rice. This was average, not a fan of this one.
We tried the famous Pad Thai Gai, which was stir fried rice noodles with chicken, egg, tofu and tamarind. This is another must have at Khao Siam. Loved it!
We ended our food tasting session with mango sticky rice. And boy! What a way to finish our already amazing afternoon! The mango sticky rice was beautiful. This was the only dessert available and that’s perfectly alright because this one will satisfy your sweet tooth!
Now, what makes all the dishes here so unique and delightful is the fact that they import their ingredients from Thailand. Yes, all the way from Thailand! The chefs are all from Thailand, and the chef makes sure that all these tasty dishes are made without the use of MSG. NO MSG in their food! Does it get any better??!
