Le Relais de l'Entrecote, a chain of global restaurants has a simple format. You sit down, tell the waitress how you want your steak cooked and the food begins to arrive. Delicious steak-frites, French bistro style with their famous mustard flavoured butter-sauce.
You start with their house bread and butter, then a lettuce and walnut salad with a mustard dressing and then the steak-frites, served in two helpings. All this for a set price. You must try one of their desserts such as the chocolate cake, creme brulee or profiteroles. Service is quick and professional. It is a pity that they don't serve wine though at this restaurant. Water, juice or a soft-drink just doesn't do it!!!
Go to l'Entrecote for a delicious steak...Note that there is no a la carte menu for the appetisers or main course, only for the desserts.
Amazing steak with that secret sauce that makes the food magical. I love that chain and the Dubai branch is as as good as the London and Paris ones. A classic that I am glad to see in Dubai
Excited when I found out that this Parisian cafe is in Dubai and I just had to go.
Basic interiors from the Parisian chain and hospitable service is a plus at this place. However, on a Friday night the restaurant was near empty which was mighty surprising as it has huge lines in Paris.
No menu in particular here just the option of how you want your meat cooked and I went for medium rare. Individual portions are served. Firstly, they bring you a fresh and tasty mixed mustard salad to begin your meal followed by the steak dish. The 200gms of steak paired with the Café de Paris sauce imported directly from Paris is a home run. I gobbled the sauce with my perfectly cooked steak and filled up on unlimited fries, using the sauce as the perfect dip. Divine.
No room for dessert.

Just Perfect!
One of my favorite places in Down Town Dubai. The Steak is great and the sauce is just amazing!
The staff and the service is top notch and the manager there "Mohamed" gets to you in a heart beat.
It's a restaurant that I visit regularly.
The secret sauce , tender meat and a very tasty salad . A very similar taste to the restaurant branch in Beirut and also Paris

I normally dislike steak and not a professional when talking about it, but this place introduced me to the best tender steaks in my opinion. The place is so antique and gives a Parisian vibe. The service is good, but what I adore about this place is whenever I visit its always quiet. The simplicity of this place is a plus. The idea of Le Relais is that is serves a set menu for (140 AED) if I am not mistaken.
1- Salad with mustard sauce (THE SIMPLEST YET MOST DELICIOUS SALAD)
2- Entercote steak with fries. (The softest fries & the sauce does it for me!)
And for the dessert, the menu is filled with French desserts, but never tried them. I recommend going for dinner when your looking for a quiet and isolated place in Dubai.
P.s: they refill the portion once your half way through.
Predictably good quality food...every time...which is always a delightful experience. Not very crowded so the waitstaff was pleasant and very attentive to our needs. Highly recommend this place if you are looking for a simple yet tasty meal.
Went there on Friday night, at 19:30 we were the 1st diners but by the time we left there were quite a few tables in. Salad to start was fresh and delicious, steak and frites cooked to perfection and nicely served by our waitress. Profiteroles for dessert were worth ordering even though we were full. Not fine dining or people watching place- but worth a visit for the food alone.
I love those places where you don't have the dilemma in what to order! They only serve steak and frites in a special sauce, offer you a yummy salad also. Try their profiteroles it's really amazing!

Ive always loved their branch in Lebanon and have been waiting to go and try this one since it opened - Ramadan was the perfect timing cause I usually avoid downtown and the traffic!
Just like their other branches around the world, theres no menu, our waitress just asked how we would like our steak cooked and left.
The salad with mustard dressing and walnuts was brought to our table, along witb a bread basket and butter. Loved this salad so much - so simple yet so powerful in flavor! (Dip the bread in the dressing!!!)
Then the steaks came, served table side with skinny french fries and the famous "cafe de paris" sauce - i read somewhere that it consists of around 24 ingredients! This was as expected, amazing! Meat cooked perfectly and fries were crispy, the sauce was delicious although a little more runny than i remember!
Then we ordered desserts - creme brulė, meringues, and profiteroles. WOW!!!! The french really know their dessert! No matter how full you are, please please order dessert!
I will be going back again and again, even if its just for dessert and coffee!
