We came here after high expectations from the location in Geneva however were throughly disappointed with the result. The meat had an awful taste as well as after taste and the rest was sub par. Even after we complained, they still charged us 100 dirhams for SALAD. I don’t recommend coming here. You will be left upset.

We went there for lunch the food was really bad for a restaurant that only serves and know for one dish. The meat was smiley and not fresh. We complained to the waiter and the they compensated us with a discount and that is why I rated them a 2.

Really disappointed with the food everything wasn’t fresh not up to london or Paris standards. Meat quality was horrible the sauce was very watery it should be thicker. In general the restaurant was empty they should close down instead of serving frozen beef.

The meat quality was horrible don't recommend it in Dubai but doeant live uo to the uk standard. Tasted like a frozen cow meat. The chips weren't that bad but wasn't good either and the sauce was bad too and the entire platter smelled bad. 🤮

I went to have lunch today and it was a horrible experience. Firstly, I asked about the offer available on Zomato, which is 85 dhs pp between 12-5 pm and they said it is not available. They really need to update their page in that case because they are bringing customers that expect this offer and they are not offering it. I have tried this place many many times in London, it is completely different here, not the same meat and not the same sauce. I ordered medium and my steak came well done, after pointing this out to the waitress, she claimed that they cook medium that way. Medium is supposed to be pink inside, although my steak had no pink at all. The waitress was very unprofessional and did not change my steak. The only good thing about the place is the bread and butter. It is overpriced and would not recommend to anyone. Thank you

Le Relais de l'Entrecote, a chain of global restaurants has a simple format. You sit down, tell the waitress how you want your steak cooked and the food begins to arrive. Delicious steak-frites, French bistro style with their famous mustard flavoured butter-sauce. You start with their house bread and butter, then a lettuce and walnut salad with a mustard dressing and then the steak-frites, served in two helpings. All this for a set price. You must try one of their desserts such as the chocolate cake, creme brulee or profiteroles. Service is quick and professional. It is a pity that they don't serve wine though at this restaurant. Water, juice or a soft-drink just doesn't do it!!! Go to l'Entrecote for a delicious steak...Note that there is no a la carte menu for the appetisers or main course, only for the desserts.

Excited when I found out that this Parisian cafe is in Dubai and I just had to go. Basic interiors from the Parisian chain and hospitable service is a plus at this place. However, on a Friday night the restaurant was near empty which was mighty surprising as it has huge lines in Paris. No menu in particular here just the option of how you want your meat cooked and I went for medium rare. Individual portions are served. Firstly, they bring you a fresh and tasty mixed mustard salad to begin your meal followed by the steak dish. The 200gms of steak paired with the Café de Paris sauce imported directly from Paris is a home run. I gobbled the sauce with my perfectly cooked steak and filled up on unlimited fries, using the sauce as the perfect dip. Divine. No room for dessert. One of the best steak dishes I have had in a long time. I will definitely be back 4.5/5

Just Perfect! One of my favorite places in Down Town Dubai. The Steak is great and the sauce is just amazing! The staff and the service is top notch and the manager there "Mohamed" gets to you in a heart beat. It's a restaurant that I visit regularly.

The worst management I ever saw here in Dubai, expect the management to call u a lier if you have any kind of feedback on the food, the salad is pure lettuce with 2 pieces of walnuts and a dressing. I normally dislike steak and not a professional when talking about it, but this place introduced me to the best tender steaks in my opinion. The place is so antique and gives a Parisian vibe. The service is good, but what I adore about this place is whenever I visit its always quiet. The simplicity of this place is a plus. The idea of Le Relais is that is serves a set menu for (140 AED) if I am not mistaken. 1- Salad with mustard sauce (THE SIMPLEST YET MOST DELICIOUS SALAD) 2- Entercote steak with fries. (The softest fries & the sauce does it for me!) And for the dessert, the menu is filled with French desserts, but never tried them. I recommend going for dinner when your looking for a quiet and isolated place in Dubai. P.s: they refill the portion once your half way through.

Predictably good quality food...every time...which is always a delightful experience. Not very crowded so the waitstaff was pleasant and very attentive to our needs. Highly recommend this place if you are looking for a simple yet tasty meal.

Went there on Friday night, at 19:30 we were the 1st diners but by the time we left there were quite a few tables in. Salad to start was fresh and delicious, steak and frites cooked to perfection and nicely served by our waitress. Profiteroles for dessert were worth ordering even though we were full. Not fine dining or people watching place- but worth a visit for the food alone.

We used to eat at the Festival City restaurant when it was still open... We really enjoyed the concept of all you could eat & only one item on the menu... When we visited them in Downtown we were told that each guest could only have one and a half portions of beef... We were also told that this had been policy throughout the chain and was never any different...!? Needless to say, we were extremely disappointed & the value of what we were served was allot less than we expected. The staff were quite rude about the situation. We won't be returning.

Ive always loved their branch in Lebanon and have been waiting to go and try this one since it opened - Ramadan was the perfect timing cause I usually avoid downtown and the traffic! Just like their other branches around the world, theres no menu, our waitress just asked how we would like our steak cooked and left. The salad with mustard dressing and walnuts was brought to our table, along witb a bread basket and butter. Loved this salad so much - so simple yet so powerful in flavor! (Dip the bread in the dressing!!!) Then the steaks came, served table side with skinny french fries and the famous "cafe de paris" sauce - i read somewhere that it consists of around 24 ingredients! This was as expected, amazing! Meat cooked perfectly and fries were crispy, the sauce was delicious although a little more runny than i remember! Then we ordered desserts - creme brulė, meringues, and profiteroles. WOW!!!! The french really know their dessert! No matter how full you are, please please order dessert! I will be going back again and again, even if its just for dessert and coffee!

Ate twice for dinner in this restaurant and both times the restaurant was empty. In both instances the service was slow and unattentive. Staff did not seem to know the menu items. Both times the meat, sauce, french fries and the plate were cold. Unedible. No manager on the floor to control the slow service. Nothing to compare with the Relais de l'Entrecote in Paris or Geneva.

It was such a surprise to find one of our Paris favourites here in Dubai. Great setting and we love the simplicity of the restaurant. Would've been great if they explained the concept to us when we arrived, even though we know it. The little salad was amazing, simple but the dressing was absolutely perfect. Meat quality was very good but we were a bit disappointed when the sauce was not the same as in Paris. Wont say it was bad, but not what we expected.

It's been 2 plus years since I returned here. Isn't the same scenic DFC branch but downtown has its own charm. The service was impeccable and the food has always been satisfying. My only ever complaint is that it's never piping hot and the fries were a bit too crispy for my liking but I guess that's what you get with thin crispy fries (not always a fan of super thin and crispy, sometimes you can taste the oil it's fried in and the idea of it puts me off) not saying that these fries weren't good it's just not my favorite cut! I had my steak medium and the husband had his medium rare and both were perfectly done. Sometimes I feel like their portions aren't enough and you should have the option of more than 7 pieces but am sure they have these portion sizes because of the extensive dessert menu. Am not the biggest fan of dessert and the husband wasn't keen on any either so we left decently satisfied and would definitely come back.

I was a bit disappointed to be honest. I didn't quite enjoy the sauce. I prefer the Dubai mall entrecôte better. Also in Dubai mall they serve it on the flame so it keeps the meat hot. This sauce has a bit more pepper. Wasn't terrible, but wasn't the best.

Our first time was a major fail, meat was cold and tough and if that's bad then there's nothing else. However we decided to give this place another chance. This time the meat was really good, fries seemed more like leftover small pieces but they were crunchy and hot. The sauce is not at the level of the main Paris branch but it's getting there.

If your really in for the real French dinning experience. This is the place to be. What I had was a well cooked steak with mushroom sauce and it was fabulous. Perfectly cooked. Worth the price paid. The ambience is set in the French moulin rouge style and gets always with a complete French design & quality.

Want to experience a typical French steak and fries? Don't miss out on this place. Menu is simple/ 1 type of steak ,you choose how you want it to be cooked and you have fries as much as you want. Sauce is their secret recipe since it opened long time ago in France. They give you bread as well so you dunk in these pieces of fresh bread in that sauce.. Forget about the calories when you're there, just enjoy the food :-) oh and desserts are good: the profiteroles come crunchy covered with generous chocolate sauce.

I went for lunch on a Saturday, there was about 10 other guests. I've been so many times in Paris, almost once a week for years so I'm so happy to have the possibility to enjoy the same in dubai. The food is about the same, good entrecôte ( as long as you ask for rare, over rare is for people who do not like meat), best fries and the nice little salad to start. It is a no fuss restaurant where you know why you come and you have so much options for dessert, the best profiteroles, a good vacherin ( the meringue and ice cream and not the cheese) It is a shame there is no possibility to have wine as some people will not go because of it. The previous outlet in festival city had the option. Price is reasonable, food is good but do not go there for the ambiance ( it is not as in Paris...)

Highly overpriced. The dull ambience really prepares you for what you're about to eat. The secret sauce that they use on their steaks is a letdown - tastes like pesto mixed with some Indian curry. The fries were the best part of the meal.

Located in downtown dubai this place is less than a year old in that location. The restaurant serves just one dish the steak with its secret herbed sauce along with fries and they are yummm. The steak comes in lengthwise pieces covered in sauce and topped with homemade fries. The steak itself is soft succulent and bursting with flavour seeped in its special sauce. You are served a second helping which is covered in the cost. The restaurant however does have a wide variety of desserts which are quite good however I'm not so fond of sweet things hence no expert on desserts altough it tasted good. Service is warm and friendly and seating is avaliable both outside and inside.

I came here a Monday for dinner with a friend and we were the only clients until 9pm when a couple had dinner here as well. So the large space was empty and gave a weird impression. I know Le Relais de l'Entrecote really well as it is originally from France and really popular back home. In France people queue for 1 hour before to get a table. So here is the first big difference. Then, when the meat came instead of thin slices of beef it was thick and large slices of beef, also in the original restaurant they leave the plate with the meat on the table in front of you and you can serve yourself, here it wasn't the case. Even the famous sauce was different from the original. Overall it is quiet ok but when you know the real restaurant from France it is disappointing. For desert we shared the profiteroles which were delicious!!

The first time I tried the original Le Relais in Paris. I thought it was the best steak ever and when the second plate came out I was in heaven! The sauce - what is in it? Fast forward 20 years and here I am in Dubai's newest version. The steak was cooked ok but the portion seemed small, despite the second serve. The sauce tasted good, though lacked the same strength of flavour as the original. Sadly it also lacked the buzzing atmosphere of Paris/London and as others have mentioned it could really do with being licensed.

Not what I expected! After craving L'Entrecote ever since returning from my last trip to Paris, I finally managed to try this restaurant on the Boulevard. The restaurant was incredibly quiet and empty considering the fact that I visited on a Friday evening for dinner. As for the food, the special dish was served, starting with the salad and followed by steak and fries with the special sauce. Unfortunately, the food was not placed on a small grill on the table, but rather just served by the waitress, which didn't seem to feel so filling, and truthfully took a lot away from the ambience. The desserts were mediocre to say the least. There's not much else to say about the place besides the fact that it was a fairly disappointing experience.

Super delicious food! Good service almost the same atmosphere and ambiance as Entrecôte in Paris! I feel the sauce is little bit different becz there they might use white wine but in dubai they cant add any alcoholic beverage in to food ! Overall it was sooo good and price and portions are also reasonable ! 130 for food which comes with their famous salad and steak + frenchfires . For two we paid something around 300.

Fantastic same as Paris- I ve ordered my meat rare it came as I wanted. Very good service too, waitress was always ready to assist I would recommend this place to all entrecôte lovers I m happy that it moved from festival city and is now in downtown! Would recommend as desserts their sevigne with extra chocolates and their Apple tart to change from the profiterole

So the much anticipated restaurant chain finally opens up in Dubai. The food is good, the meat was 6 out of 10 for me, but I'm a fussy carnivore so this should be disregarded. Overall experience was lacking a glass of wine. Not sure what my thoughts are about having L'entrecote without a nice glass of Merlot! I hope the next location will be one with an alcohol permit. Apart from that I would recommend it- it fills the void u have sometimes for this yumi dish

Got exited when they opened in down town. Went for diner.. It was a very bad experience. The meat was like having a filet steak, the waitresses had no clue about L'entrecote meat. Taste and sauce had nothing to do with the original entrecôte!

I simply love it, you can have a small trip to Paris the time of a dinner. What you see is what you get, one main course and a big variety of deserts which makes you wanna eat for hours. Nice French ambiance and friendly service, and the quality of meat is really good, had my steak medium rare and it was so delicious and the fries are so crispy and fresh and the famous secret sauce is worth being a "secret" :) a dessert menu to die for and my favorite is the creme Brule and the famous profiteroles and the strawberry juice was so yummy. I'm so going back to this place and it's gonna be a weekly date... Cheers

Another round of our dinner gathering. 8 people again. Great atmosphere amongst each other. Not sure about the surroundings though. Anyway, down to business! The food! Im not much of a steak person. Infact not at all. The moment my friend explained the place to me i DID panic for a bit. However i was pleasantly surprised. We get there and its very straight forward. It is just one item for main which is the steak with their secret sauce, match stick fries ( super good ), and a nice salad with mustard dressing ( comes with walnuts so careful to whoever is alergic ). The steak is served in two servings which i found to be VERY convenient. It was nicely cooked and it tasted great. However i do have one complaint ( its not much of a big deal for me but some people Might take it too seriously ), each one of us has ordered a certain "done"ness to our portions. Medium, medium well, well done. What we got was almost every had a well done piece of meat. That said it was still very tender and juicy none the less. I can say that it wasnt an error from the kitchen but rather that the piece of steak ( again in two different servings ) is rather thin and you cant really control much of it when it comes in that size. Either way i recommend it! Enjoy! Sorry no photos here this time. I had swallowed half my portion within minutes :3

Simple Menu. I quite like it when you go to a restaurant, you don't have to browse thru a thick menu. Yes it is nice to have options but sometime you just want something simple and fast - so you're in the right place. For mains they only serve steak (its a steak house anyway) but only one type of steak. Tho you obviously can ask how you prefer your steak. Rare-medium-welldone. It will come with a simple salad and bread. Plus chips on the side. I really like the sauce. It look like a simple dish but sometime you only need a simple dish to get satistfied. Basically again when you come to this restaurant - you know already what you will get and expect. Its a one dish kind of restaurant. Tho i have a bad experience today - the bread they gave me has a hair in it. I have raised the issue to the manager - and he was really helpful and fantastic on handling my complaint. Dessert menu in the other hand have quite a variety. I'm not into sweets - so can't comment much about it.
