Absolutely love Food Village! My husband and I moved to Dubai from the UK in September and discovered Food Village by chance. We missed the Bangladeshi food that our mothers/family made and were delighted to find a restaurant that did exactly that, traditional home cooked Bangladeshi cuisine! Every time we have visited, we have never been disappointed. Everything we have tried has always been cooked to perfection. The food is fantastic for the price and staff are very kind, polite and attentive. We have dined in many restaurants in the UK and UAE, however, by far Food Village is the most best and most authentic restaurant we have dined at! - The food is always made with love and barakat mashaAllah. Thank you very much Food Village for the wonderful experiences we have enjoyed. We look-forward to visiting again.
I really love it, delicious food. I went there first time on 25.08.2017. i had shorse ileesh. yammy it may bring me there again and again
Simply the best restaurant in UAE for authentic bengali cuisine.
Amazing food specially the Bhuna Kichuri, The Hilsha Fry, the Haleem, the Chatneys and Bhartas. Good choice of Bengali cusine, try the Misti Doi...
A very nice Bangladeshi restaurant in Al Nahda area, location is easy to find as the restaurant is right on the side of the main road. They serve Authentic Bangla cuisine. Fish combo is my favourite. Very friendly and helpful staff. Lots of parking space is available in the surrounding area.

The food is great. The fish are fresh. Veggies also taste great. We had ordered rohu fish, which was very fresh and prawns are to die for absolutely. The shukto is a bit dissapointment though. The delivery is fast. Overall a very pleasant experience. Will definitelt order again.
This is the most authentic and close to home food you’ll ever get. We had ordered their assorted pitika platter, the sorshe illish, kolkata chicken biryani, chicken roast, dal and some rice. The pitika and the illish were absolutely delicious! So worth the long drive. The kolkata biryani was so light and flavours, I only wish that they gave a potato along with it. The chicken roast was delicious too! We topped it up with cups of karak tea and kalakand. Yum!
Tasty Bengali cuisine in Dubai. Must visit who wants to taste yummy Bengali food. They offer all kind of Bengali cuisine as well as kababs and Chinese cuisine. Illish fry is a must try there also mishti doi.
Their food quality exceeds expectations. Actually its a 4.5/5 half point deducted for being expensive. The whole menu is tasty and the dining area is very nice
Food quality 5/5
Service 5/5
Menu range 3.5/5
Cleanliness 5/5
Budget friendliness 3/5 on the ecpensive side
Great restaurant if you want to eat sub continental cuisine. Only drawback is it being expensive
Very delicious Bengali food, best Bengali restaurant in town I think, but very expensive also , shorshe ilish , vhorta is awesome, very testy,, big problem is expensive
Modest but tidy restaurant located in Al Nahda. Limited items on menu but Food was good and service was quick and efficient. Tried Shorshe Ilish - fish was well prepared and portion size was huge and Shukto - it tasted too good. Would definitely recommend.
Having tried Bengali cuisine just once before, and several times at the homes of my friends, this was a must on my list for years...finally got a chance to do dinner..as always i tried the platter or the combo as its easy to decide and try multiple dishes...We went for the fish combo and the beef combo, with only the title dishes being the difference. There was a serving of a mashed potato with chili flakes as well as a mashed eggplant dish. The beef was a thick oily gravy, with the beef being boned and tenderly cooked. The fish curry (unidentified but it was a big portion of two large slices of a fleshy fish, which seemed to be a freshwater fish). There was also a super spicy salad (green chili laced) along with a well flavored serving of Dal along with steamed rice. A signature flavor that i found across all the dishes was the strong, pungent kick of mustard. We ordered the borhani, which is sort of a sweet, salty and minty youghurt based drink (almost at a raita level consistency) and the mishti doi (a sweet thick youghurt based dessert). All the dishes were well prepared and served promptly and the guy who served us was super friendly and helpful. Parking could be a hassle and the approach to the restaurant is not easy so keep your eyes out. Overall a visit to be repeated again, considering the plethora of dishes yet to be discovered !
