Icons Coffee Couture is a German lifestyle coffee chain focusing on organic coffees, teas and healthy, but joyful sweets & treats! Icons is famous for its sugar-free bakery, beverage & ice cream assortment which is sweetened all naturally with the zero calorie sweetener stevia, organic agave or dates! 
Icons Coffee Couture is located just outside World Trade Centre Metro station. They have a nice indoor as well as a outdoor seating. They have Organic, Sugar Free and Gluten free items on the menu. 
I started off with a Cappuccino, Hot Chocolate and German Breakfast platter. It was freshly made and was delicious. I then tried the Chicken Pesto Waffle sandwich which was amazing. The waffle was freshly prepared upon placing the order. 
I tried the Vegan Chocolate cake which was absolutely scrumptious. The strawberry Sorbet was tasty too. 
I took home 3 cookies which were well packed in the gift box and were delectable. The service is great and the food is fresh and nice.

A very nice concept, unique cups, waffle sandwiches are excellent.

I would have given them a five star rating but I have the following comments:

- salads were not available
- the service was too slow
- the waiter was not friendly

Besides that the food was very good and the drinks as well.

The fact that they do not serve soft drinks is cool.

I came across this cafè as I was looking for some rest after the big sale at Trade Center. The most amazing thing is service. Sauda was just so welcoming, polite and attentive - she gave me the wifi password before I even asked for it! She really made this lunch extra pleasant. The atmosphere is nice, the place is simply decorated, but it is very clean and there is a good smell. The only negative thing is that the music was a bit loud for a cafè - not like a club obviously, but I got a couple of calls while I was there and it was a bit loud. On to the food:

- Halloumi Waffle (24AED) --> I eat a lot so I try to stay healthy when I can (not that I succeed), and I REALLY appreciate that they list calories for most of their dishes. The waffle was well-cooked, crispy and was made with whole wheat flour but tasted nice (not like cardboard). It was quite generously filled with olives, halloumi, sundried tomatoes, rocca leaves, mayo and zaatar powder. There was a bit too much sauce for my liking, but then I like very little sauce in my sandwiches. It tasted really good, nevertheless.

- Skinny cappuccino (15AED) --> I asked for some cocoa powder on top. This was nice but not the best coffee I've had, the foam didn't have much substance and completely disappeared as soon as I stirred the coffee. I prefer it a bit thicker, but the coffee tasted good.

- Fiji Water (10AED) --> There were no prices for water on the menu. I normally ask for local water, when I got fiji I was afraid it was going to be something really silly like 20 aed, thankfully it was ok.

The bill came to 49 aed, which is not a bad price for what I had. The sandwich is not huge but it is very filling. They also have a voucher bundle which is worth it if you work in the area, for 99 aed you get 32 vouchers, 6 different types of buy one get one free (6 buy one coffee, get one free, 6 buy one waffle sandwich get one free, 6 buy one cake and get one free, etc.). Finally, I was offered a free vanilla ice-cream sample (fairly big, like 4/5 teaspoons), it was sweetened with stevia and it tasted delicious - they won me over with a bit of free ice-cream, not gonna lie! :)  I will definitely be back - thanks for a lovely lunch!

A wonderfully laid-back set-up with full-black interiors (located right outside DWTC metro stn.) that serves up some great lattes, steviachinos and dessert varieties. Tried the Oreo cookie cake + Iced latte and they pretty much did their job of turning my day around (in a positive way, ofcourse!). Currently, they have few exciting promotional offers that one can find on sites like Groupon/Cobone so NOW is definitely a good time to check 'em out! :)

Best things in life are sweet! So dont think while a brownie is served with a scoop of date icecream, just go for it. And those calories - they dont count anymore because this guiltfree goodness is sugar free glutenfree and high in fibre. Finally a cafe in Dubai that serves sugarfree desserts, ice creams, flavoured coffees basically everything that we all love but can't have whenever we want 😜 but not anymore 😄

First came the Macadamia brownie with date ice cream 😍
Its one of the best dessert I've had and guess what its sugar free and gluten free 😇 If you don't believe me, go and find out for yourself 😉

Also tried the Hot cookie cake with dark chocolate ice cream that is sugar free and gluten free 😢 it was sooo good that it made me cry with happiness

One thing I can guarantee is that just because its sugarfree doesn't mean it doesn't taste good 🙏 this is the stuff from a foodie's dream 😇

Hailing from Germany, Icons Coffee Couture is a lifestyle coffee chain that comprises of a variety of coffee blends (obviously), teas, sandwiches, salads and desserts; the unique selling proposition being that all their preparations are healthy! Icons’ sugar-free bakery items and beverages have been sweetened naturally with zero calorie sweetener STEVIA, a sugar substitute that is extracted from the leaves of the plant species of the same name. We visited the World Trade Center branch for a tasting and discovered a lovely blend of healthy and tasty treats!

The Icons Coffee Couture is located on Sheikh Zayed road right beside the WTC entrance, one of the most busiest places in Dubai. I was here one evening to try their coffees and desserts as I heard they were sugarfree and made without preservatives as well. 

I was with a friend and we were both hungry so called for two sandwiches to begin with. They had run out of most of the stuff but we managed to get a Mediterranean Wrap and an Egg and Roca Sandwich. Both these were pre-made and packed so they didn't taste too great, I was told they arrive fresh in the mornings and re-heated when required. 

We then called for a Chocolate Brownie Shake that was really good, I would recommend this if you are in a mood for a chocolate drink. It was rich though. 

We were also served the Mango Sorbet drink and a Strawberry cream, both these were refreshing blends with great flavour, made with crushed ice. 

For the desserts we were brought the Brownie with Date ice cream and Cookie with chocolate ice cream. All their desserts are sugar free yet taste great. The combinations available are amazing . They are made with no preservatives as well which makes it even better. 
We ended the evening with some organic teas. They were really relaxing. 

Icons is a good place to grab a cup of coffee or tea and enjoy some dessert. I wouldn't recommend their finger food or sandwiches though.

Why more would you need a reason to not call them a true coffee couture?

They have many healthy options including sandwiches, salads, wraps, juices and ice creams and also sell loose coffee beans and processed coffee. We were privileged to experience some of the most delectable desserts and coffee without worrying too much about the calories:

Carrot cake: A truly well presented generous slice of cake which was perfectly baked. The grated fresh carrot was in every bite unlike the traditional cakes where it’s mostly the flavor only. The fresh cream made using stevia did not give me a feeling that it was sugar free. The cake was crumble and perfect moist at the same time. Yum o meter 5/5

The chocolate fudge: This was from one of their non sugar free selection, but they balanced the ingredients well and did complete justice to the traditional chocolate fudge. A chunk of chocolate cake is enough to get you going for the morning. Yum o meter 4.5/5

For the drinks we had a Chocó loco frappe which was amazingly chocolaty with the right ingredients to make it rich and creamy. Topped with a scoop of vanilla naturally made ice cream and gluten free chocolate shavings. It is a must have even on a non cheat day. Yum o meter 4.5/5

Macadamia brownie frappe: it is a star by itself. This is one of the best frappe I have had with so many things to look forward to. The creamy frappe topped with cream and decorated with chocolate syrup has chunks of brownie made using nuts and stevia making it a much healthier option. This gluten free and sugar free drink will leave you sipping till the end of the glass. Yum o meter 5/5

Mousse: you cannot leave this place without trying their white chocolate and dates mousse. They also served us the traditional chocolate mousse however the white chocolate and date stole all the lime light. The white chocolate does complete justice to creamy, milky and smooth mousse. It was naturally made using stevia and dates adding to the sweetness. Every spoon that dug into the mouse with white chocolate and dates combination was delightful. A must have.

Ice creams: We had small taste also of Dates, Caramel and Dark chocolate ice creams. It is surprising that such good ice creams can be made without adding preservatives and sweeteners. The caramel was my favorite and I am definitely going back for that one. The dates ice cream was a bit bitter maybe because of the lack of preservatives, however it was like eating natural good quality frozen crushed dates. The dark chocolate will satisfy all your chocolate cravings and is absolutely rich and fresh. Loved the ice cream addition to the menu – definitely coming back for more.

Organic green tea: as refreshing as it sounds. The tea is made using fresh green tea leaves and served in a warm teapot. The leaves are also separately served in case you want the tea more strong. The flavor is perfect and fresh. After having an array of desserts this is a must have to calm your taste buds. Yum o meter: 5/5

As tasteless as it would sound to many when they hear sugar free and gluten free, it is not. It is so flavorful. The stevia added won’t let you realize the difference in sweetness and more importantly taste and health. I am definitely going back here to taste the other varieties of quick bites.

I had quit my addiction to coffee almost two decades back and was quite happy living the detoxified lifestyle. When I got an invite for the opening of a chic coffee boutique, I was quite hesitant. A little research about Icons and coffee & sugar alternates, was good enough for me to battle the maddening traffic on Sheikh Zayed Road and drive down to their opening. Getting a parking is definitely a tedious task, since it is next to the convention centre, but luckily they have parking option available, and to top it off, as soon as I entered the parking lot, I got one immediately.

Interiors of Icons is more upscale than your normal coffee joints and that makes it stand out. I tried a couple of their desserts and they were outstanding. The freshest and tastiest carrot cake using Stevia instead of sugar, made this more delightful. The unusual combo of beetroot in muffins was something unheard off, but I have to say this was definitely the star dessert for me and a must try at Icons. I also tried their rich chocolate brownie- a chocolate lovers paradise. While going through their menu I came across a dish which caught my immediate attention.A unique combination of hot croissant stuffed with Icecream and drizzled with chocolate sauce. Sounded quite different, so there I was holding this huge platter of a buttery and fluffy croissant loaded with icecream and shutterbugs snapping left right and center to get a pic of this unique dish. I simply loved it. I also ordered a brownie shake and this was fantastic. It had the right amount of sweetness inspite of Stevia being used and I did not feel any difference in taste. The star attraction of the evening was the coffee ceremony with Kopi Luwak. The whole process was quite enthralling and I finally got to taste inspite the two decade coffee shun. 

The final outcome of the coffee ceremony was aptly explained by Edward Cole- Jack Nicholson in The Bucket List.And like Carter Chambers-Morgan Freeman replied “ The cats beat me to It” we faded into the night with the lingering taste and aroma of the ICONic Coffee.

Icons Coffee is a German Brand that made its proper appearance in Dubai recently. Their first facade in Souq Al Bahr is now replaced by a more spacious outlet that is now located in the World Trade Centre Apartments. The German chain is known for its luxury, and lifestyle coffee shop. The outlet fit out also portrays the same with simple and elegant toned colors. Well when I mean lifestyle, I totally mean healthy lifestyle. 

The brand offers sugar-free confectioneries/pastries and beverages with the use of the natural zero-calorie sweetener stevia. Stevia is a leafy plant which originates mainly from South America. 

Unlike a low calorie sweeter, this replacement is known for its strong and sweet flavor. This popularly used plant provides numerous health benefits to our body. Even the coffee beans and tea are a 100% organic. Therefore, a genuine lifestyle chain.  

The menu does not stop there, but like any other coffee shop, they offer light sandwiches, salads, muffins and other quick bites. I was invited to the launch of their DWTC outlet. As mentioned the outlet was spacious with the perfectly set up ambiance for a coffee shop. However, parking was an issue.

They showcased some of the finest cakes on their menu and brewed one of the world's most expensive coffee beans. The presentation of the dessert was the major highlight. It made every dessert look irresistible. The major desserts were the Macadamia Brownie & Carrot Cake.

The freshly baked Macadamia Brownies were prepared from macadamia nuts, sugar-free chocolate, milk, butter and stevia. Thus, it had the health board of desserts which are glutton free and sugar-free. The brownie was baked perfectly with the apt moisture and texture. Indeed, it was very light as well

My favorite among the desserts was the carrot cake. The ingredients used to prepare the batter were grated carrots, eggs, almond powder, lemon juice, orange zest, vanilla bean, and cinnamon with a touch of olive oil. The cake was then served with the finest cream cheese frosting. The ingredients look numerous and confusing, however, the taste was simple and very satisfying.

For drinks, I tried the Mocca frappe. The taste was very relishing with strong flavors of ground beans, it was creamy and nice. This too was light and refreshing.

As the tagline states, 'make life remarkable' the chain aims at providing a healthy and luxurious atmosphere.
