We love south indian food and having been to all places in Dubai i can say that vasanta is the best. All other places add a lot of unecessary spices and garlic etc which is not authentic. The food at vasanta is pure simple and authentic. Coffee and chutney is the best of all.

Why was it Underrated?? There are restaurants who just want to earn money but this guy's gives a quality food for the money we give.
Simple, a masala dosa is good. Their Adai aviyal stands out. And their packaging is very good. They want to keep the sambar hot and they covered it in aluminum foil, and thats dedication. Very good job 👏👏
Loved it overall. I ordered two masala dosa which was pretty good. I also ordered poori and aalo masala, the poori was dry, so it wasnt that great. But the Masala dosa was really good. Then i ordered kesari or sheera south indian delight oh it was the best so yummy. Would definitely recommend for any one who likes south indian food to try atleast once.

For Vegetarian lovers best place to visit
Vasanta Bhavan is one in a long list of South Indian restaurants with the Bhavan suffix; other notables being Saravana, Ananda and Sivestar. This Karama branch on Street 15A, opposite thali masters Rajdhani, is the second in their chain of maybe six restaurants I have visited; the other being in Al Nahda around two years ago….BC-19 (Before Covid-19) when we were a footloose and fancy-free society. I remember the Al Nahda branch being “simple, presentable and most importantly, clean and cool” – the same applies to this Karama branch.

If you are looking for authentic Tamil Nadu Veg food go for this one. Apart from the authentic foods like Dosa idly which tastes great also their masala veg parrota and chilly idly are my favourite. Their option to add on one vada one idly is a great idea when ur appetite is for one Dosa plus additional half dish.

Literally this is restaurant is the only place where I found Vadacurry in Dubai served on Thur-Saturdays.Since I’m from South India feel home whenever we visit vasantha bhavan as we find more tamil families visiting. Very polite staff and price of the dishes on menu are very pocket friendly. Must try dish is kuli paniyaram and onion chutney
Vasantha Bhavan’s ghee roast dosa is my favourite. This place never disappoints👍🏼

South indian vegetarian restaurant.
We ordered mini thali and masala dosa.
Mini thali was nice. Meals will be served on banana leaf.
Masala dosa was amazing. It was best dosa ever I have tried.
PS. When we entered restaurant, one stuff told us that No non vegetarian and did not let us seat. Because we are not indian. Yes, we are not vegitarian, but, just wanted to try vegitarian meals.
Anyway totally we like this restaurant, thank you.

A South Indian vegetarian restaurant in that part of karama, where you can get a parking 😊, the food is good, not spicey, thali is also adequate and cheap. The items are moderately priced. Try their idli and Vada with chutney, it's good. Filter Coffee is ok but not great. The place is clean too and there is home delivery too. Friday morning is crowded.
