Neat and clean Gujarati and Jain food. Very pocket friendly and you can have a breakfast with tea within Aed 10.
Had their soft Idli and Chutney. Idlis were very fresh and hot which was just steamed early in the morning and the coconut chutney was also very tasty and complimented the Idly very much.

One more thali place well located in Deira side of Dubai. Parking to reach this place is a challenge unless one is ready to walk for few minutes.

Loved the exotic Indian food here! The vibes are same like of India , food is delicious. The theme of steel utensils give the feel of home and India . If you are nearby to this place , must visit the place and try the Indian food . It has north Indian, South Indian , gujrati dishes too. Try dhokla I forgot to take the picture but dhokla is so goood. Loved it!
Ordered one thali and idli and chutney...the consist of various variety.. this is for vegetarians and jain.... the idli is so soft and the chutney made by the fresh coconut..it was so good..
This small place serves some really nice gujrati and jain food. I ordered for a thali which was pretty decent, averagely priced and delicious. The service is quick presentation is nothing much to talk about.
Took two thalis as a takeaway for lunch for my dad and I- we were both extremely pleased with our choice of restaurant. There was a huge variety and good quantity, and it was really tasty, flavoursome food 👌 my favourite was the aloo ras and the sweet boondhi ❤️
We were visiting the Gold Souq area lasr night and decided to try out Swaad. It is more of a cafeteria than a restaurant, occupied by the bachelor crowd.
There is a wide variety of Indian Vegetarian (particularly Gujrati and Jain) food to choose from. We ordered a samosa chaat and an aloo paratha (photos attached) and everything tasted delicious!
The only thing I felt could be improved is the waiting time and the service of the staff. Though the waiter was friendly enough to cater to us, he forgot about one of our orders and we had to wait quite a long time for the food to come. The restaurant is also located in an alley so it was a bit hard to locate the first time.
However, the quality and richness of the food made the wait worthwhile and the price is also very reasonable. Overall, I wouldn't mind dining here next time I'm in the area.
A best place for veggies and Jain Food Lovers.
They serve pure jain food all the year around, as well as chouvihar(for jains) is being runned here all year.
The food is best in taste and i can say it reflects the name which swaad(i.e: taste).
