Hands down the best Chinese food in town. Authentic Cantonese cuisine and dimsum, as well as some amazing malaysian dishes. Thoroughly recommended.
Love their mapo tofu and the stir fried green beans. Authentic Chinese food that deserves some recognition. Can’t wait to try other dishes especially their dim sum.

Dragon Seeds is an authentic Chinese restaurant on Level 1 of the All-Day Shopping Centre in Academic City. Owned and managed by the same restauranteur who brought us the amazing Noodle Bowl on 2nd December Street in Satwa, Dragon Seeds is an eatery with impeccable lineage. Where Noodle Bowl is Pan Asian with a Singaporean-Malay bias, Dragon Seeds is pure Chinese. Its interior is well decorated with an expansive window display looking into its pristine clean kitchen taking centre stage.
This is a small little wonder hidden in a corner of this city!! If u love dimsums specially cheung funs u have to visit this place!! The dimsums are fresh and through the live kitchen window u can see the chefs making them!! A 5 star for sure!!
I love the chicken dumpling..the chicken rice is my son favourite...we tried so many singapore malaysian so called resraurant here ..its either too salty or weird combination of ingredients and we crowned dragon seeds best malaysian /singapore food ever in dubai .we are picky about food and dragon seeds never fails to deliver! We are singaporean btw and we do know our food!speedy delivery and we hope you maintain the standard!
The food is really tasty, but the portion sizes are too small for the price we pay. I'd love to order it again because the food taste is excellent, but I wish the portion size was bigger
This is probably the most authentic chinese resto i have ever tried in this country aside from PF changs.
Their dimsums are the best, i feel like im in china!

In our recent visit to Dubai in March 2018, we hopped into many restaurants…. But, the one restaurant in which we had a tummy packing indulgence was the #Dragon seeds. The location itself is unique one tucked away at the academic city area in Dubai, far from the hustle and bustle of the city area. Besides the academically slanted surroundings… the restaurant itself had a tranquil and serene ambience. Being less crowded was a blessing to get the best of attention from a very friendly staff. We virtually had a four course dinner , starting with the soups ( hot and sour) and starters. The starters like fish dumplings and turnip cakes and were crispy , fresh and excellent palates. The main course of “Mangolian beef ” was a rarity and must try for anybody visiting the place. Nasi goreng, shrimp fried rice and black pepper crab were all too yummy to summarise. Dragon seeds is a must visit for foodies for some calm munching, but binge eating.

Great food, friendly staff and nice ambiance. Nasi Goreng was a bit salty - but will try to request for less salt next time. Wasn’t disappointed on our first try! There’s still so much to explore from their menu especially the dimsums.👌🏻
