Tried it at the beach canteen, really nice tacos. For me, the tortilla is key and it was gooood, will defo come back for more�

This Mexican place in JLT is surely a hidden gem. Serving some delcious, authentic and quality food, this place is gonna be my new favorite.
I was here one afternoon with a friend and we really enjoyed every bit of our meal. With minimalist and neat interiors, the use of pastel colors gives the place a calm vibe. I was told it is a family run business and it actually shows on the taste and quality of the food.
The menu is not extensive yet has most of the popular Mexican dishes one would crave.
We started the meal with a portion of Guac and chips. Absolutely fresh Guac, it was surely love at first bite.
We also called for a portion of La Tierra and a Pollo Rice Bowl. La Tierra are Vegan tacos with roasted cauliflower, sweet potatoes and cashew salsa. The flavors were simply delicious and irresistible.
The Pollo Rice bowl was equally good with a generous portion of Guac, rice, grilled chicken and is a perfect meal for one.
I already cant wait to go back here to try the rest of the menu.
Friendly staff, tasty tacos and a couple of good, imaginative veg/vegan options. Price point is absolutely fjne considering the ingredients are clearly fresh and a step above what you often get it the cities many taco joints. Reading the few negative reviews on here that claim you can get better tacos in JLT, I’d love to know where they’re talking about - because I certainly haven’t seen them. Good job, Maize!
Amazing fresh tacos! I haven’t tried a better tacos in town yet! I am pescatarian and had the veggie ones. Was so soft, ingredients was very fresh and super delicious! Cant wait to go back and try fish tacos!
I am from Texas and have been searching in vain for some authentic, quality tacos and real queso in Dubai. Maiz hit the nail on the head. They care about their quality and ingredients, and your food experience. I absolutely will be coming back. I’m in awe. What a breath of fresh air!

From the appetizers the "Queso & Chips" + the "Guacamole & Chips" are to die for, and love all the tacos but my all time favorites are the "Carne Asada" + "El Jefe" (both meat)
Love all the dessert options as well, and they have a daily “Aqua”/drink special + various flavored Mexican colas
Tried 3 different types of their tacos. The beef was the best options of them all. Was cooked well and juicy with every bite. The chicken could be more stronger on flavour. Love how the food is healthy and clean as well. The ambience and setting was relaxing. Customer service and staff was amazing. Great place to hangout with friends or just to treat yourself! 😊
Beautiful family run business with a high quality menu. Super authentic tasty food. Customer service is second to none. My go to for the best Mexican in town, and they now do catering!!
After 6 years in Dubai I finally found the best Tacos... I am addicted :) they are always very fresh and delicious. The salsa roja is on a new level!

Hands-down | The best tacos in Dubai. Food is excellent but the people & energy with which they run this place, love it. It has got a good vibe. From the outside, the place feels like a hole in the wall but opens up this mexican cuisine door to Dubai. Oh man - the tacos (Specially the chicken ones were bomb) & the Cholulas Sauce (deserves a special mention as they up the nachos game by miles). Love you 'Maiz Tacos' and highly recommend this as a top 3 mexican restaurants in Dubai.
Great tacos, big portions & super tasty. Staff very friendly and good vibes. Eri (aka Erica) deserves a special mention for his energy and for being so welcoming. Looking forward to coming back asap.

Best authentic Mexican food in Dubai! It cannot get better than this in DXB. The design of the place is super cute and just minimalistic in some sort of way, like everything clashes together, especially the small splash of colors! The food cannot be described, it was just too good. The nachos was by far the best thing we had. Everyone knows how heavy nachos are, but this was different. It was super light, nothing heavy, just literally heaven in your mouth. This is something YOU HAVE to get, or else you are definitely going to miss out. My friends and I got 2 types of burritos (HIS & HERS), Birria tacos and burrito, and a bowl. All I can say is yummy!!!! The staff were super sweet!!

Maiz Tacos is one of the best Mexican spots in Dubai. I have tried the Grilled Chicken Nachos and Birria tacos. We also ordered the Pollo Quesadillas but we were too full to try it. Worth all the hype it is getting! Highly recommend the place. All the waiters were funny and friendly - shout out to Eric.

The BEST TACO’s I’ve tried so far here at Dubai. Especially the Birria tacos that is a must to try its super tasty. Also the burgers are good to try…good serviced, you have to listen to his (waiter) suggestionssss :)

Friendly staff and good atmosphere with the outdoor seating. The food was good too, but not as much as the overhype over tacos. We have 3 different kinds of tacos, two chicken and one beef. The chicken ones were okay, pulled beef ones were actually better. The desert was also alright, it's been overhyped too for no reason.
Overall good food and a good restaurant to eat once in a while.
