Had our baby shower yesterday! The service was great! The food was tasty � i wish i had another bowl of the buko pandan! It was a good choice to have it as the venue. Great value for money as well! Wonderful experience indeed!
I was really lucky to win with you & get the chance to know your Restaurant, Honestly great food & so yummy, lots of varieties. Quick service, I did not wait at all. The best thing is that it is with reasonable prices. You will be always my first choice. The most thing I liked which I really got crazy of it is the corn chicken soup , no where else do it perfectly like yours. Thanks again . �����

It is perfectly located on the ground floor of Reef Mall right besides a coffee shop.
My Favorite is the Chicken Sisig accompanied by a nice refreshing lemon iced tea.

They’ll remember you on your second visit and nothings too much trouble. 😍 Lovely ladies! 🤗 The food 🥘 is definitely for the Filipino market and if you love fish 🐠 and a good deal 💰 this might be the perfect place! We had garlic butter shrimps 🍤 soft shell crabs, rice balls and vegetable spring rolls 🌶 Tasted good and with buffet dining in the evening you are welcome to go back for more. Nice 👍 convenient concept especially for gathering of friends 🙌 that won’t cost the earth and definitely fills your tum! ❣️
A friend of ours celebrated her birthday yesterday. Friday evening was busy but there was never an empty dish. Foods were refilled on time. Chef Jeff has not just filled us with sumptuous food but entertained us as well. We'll definitely come back!

I normally never venture into Deira (traffic phobia really) and if I do its normally via a metro, so I was happy to know that Soy and Pepper was located in Reef mall - a nice 2 minutes walk away from the Salah al din metro - Convenience at its best!
Soy and pepper has a very lovely and cozy ambiance perfect for a get together with family and even friends! The food too is really upto the mark with some of my favourites being the tom-yum soup, the fried dumplings and my chicken in hot garlic sauce.

For the mains my dining bud opted for the Beef Sisig, which she personally enjoyed - strips of beef sauteed with onions and mayo topped with a sunny side up egg. The mayo surprises you giving out more of a cheesy flavour - complementating the beef really.

This dish I easily felt could be shared by 2 people with 5 pieces of sizzling hot chicken and sticky rice to accompany it - this was a perfect no frills meal! Priced at AED 23/- this is also extremely economical as well.

For dessert, our friendly waitress insisted we try the Leche Flan (the pac-man below) she was confident we would love it. She was right.
The presentation alone won us over - simple and neat. The dessert although sweet is what a desert should be - Sweet!
Would we be back? Does a human need water to survive? The answer to both those questions is the same.

I'm going to be honest, a lot of Filipino food I have tried in Dubai restaurants has been quite bland. Now I love Filipino food when it is done right, but I was quite hesitant to give it another go out here.
However after feeling a pang in my stomach whilst in my trusted Reef Mall Dome Cafe, I thought I would give its newly opened neighbour Soy & Pepper a try.
Upon entering Soy & Pepper you are welcomed by friendly staff - it is a warm, modestly designed little restaurant. The menu prices are extremely affordable.
The dishes on offer are actually not just Filipino, but an Asian Fusion - I noticed recipes inspired by Indonesia, Thailand and China. I decided I would try the Thai Salad with Cashew Nuts followed by Chicken Sisig.
For just AED 12 The Thai Salad was a bargain. There is not a wide range of ingredients in it - it is simple and tasty. The vegetables (mainly carrot and cucumber) were extremely fresh and the cashew nuts complemented them perfectly. It was also boosted further by the chef's brilliant garlicy/spicy paste. I felt that it got the Thai salty/sweet/spicy combination perfect. For the price I paid, I couldn't believe I was eating such fresh, healthy food!
Next up was the Chicken Sisig, coming in at AED 25. This was presented sizzling with a raw egg cooking on top and some rice on the side. I mixed it all together and it didn't take long to demolish it! The chicken was creamy and extremely more-ish.
The garlic/spicy paste came in excellent here too (I would buy this by the jarful if I could), working so well with the egg, rice and chicken to create a very memorable flavour combination. I was excited as I had finally found some great Filipino inspired food in a restaurant in Dubai!
Overall I have to say I was extremely impressed by Soy & Pepper. For the price you pay, you are getting excellent value food that is very tasty; put together with the chef's own twist. Having come back here a few times since, I have to say the main thing I notice about the place is that they care (yet another thing authentic to Filipinos!). Whether it be the chef's special paste, the slice of peach on my glass of ice-tea, the egg cooking into the sisig or just the friendly staff - Soy & Pepper is a place worth your time to visit.

I cannot believe that i'm just writing a review for Soy & Pepper when i have been to the restaurant for so many times that i cannot even track it... What is there not to love about this place aside from the consistent delicious food that they serve every single time I order. I tried almost everything from the menu, and even though i'm not a fan of all of them, i have my favorites. Some of my go to order are: Chicken Inasal, Chicken/Beef Sisig, Beef Shank Soup, Chicken Manchurian, Peach-Lemon Tea and red ice tea. The restaurant's location is really near my place and is very accessible since it's just steps away from the Salah aldin metro station, also their service is quick and efficient. When i go to reef mall, i always eat at Soy & Pepper. By the way, they also offer catering services to groups and packages for parties. Soy & Pepper is a great way to eat filipino food from a different angle... I hope they will try to open more branches and offer new menus to try..
heard about this newly opened restaurant through a friend.. I was wondering how could there be a restau inside reefmall, to think that they only have a foodcourt.. anyway.. I went there just to end my curiousity.. We were welcomed by their friendly and very accomodating staffs, the place is a bit small but the ambiance is really nice.. that time they had a special combo meal for 30dhs which includes a corn soup, beef shank soup with rice and a soda. My friend had the combo meal, then I had their sizzling chicken sisig and honey cured tapa plus sago't gulaman. it's the best sisig I've ever tasted here in dubai. Prices ranges from 20-30 dhs mostly comes with a rice. It's a nice place to have a lunch or dinner with your family and friends.. I would definitely.comeback!
