Their place is small and has limited seating capacity. We are, most of the time, lucky to get our seats whenever we dine. Simple but really authentic place should you want to try authentic Yemen food. They have option to sit on chairs with tables or eat like in the earlier years on the floor in a semi-private room covered with curtain. Madhbi chicken (grilled) and kabsa rice is our favorite. You can taste the char grilled perfectly from the chicken. Chicken has its flavor and not very bland. We liked it! As it is a small restaurant, you will not expect “the service” but we were accommodated like we were welcomed in someone’s home. Always coming back for sure!
First of all this is not a star restaurant . So don't expected too much . Opted for the sitting on the floor and dining option . Place is small , yes . But the food was good . Ordered Wasiah mutton and madhbi chicken . Loved the wasiah mutton . Service was ok . Price reasonable . Will I go again , yes . Will I bring my friends along . . def yes .
Very nice food. Nice service . Small place but you can find place to sit. I recommend this place . You can always have a hot meal. Clean place As well.
This place is amazing value! Clean, efficient and very pocket friendly. The space is a bit cramped though but it is workable. Very good Madhbi chicken and mutton jaziri. Excellent for a quick bite in the local cuisine.
I ll rate this better not because its besides my home because they adjust the place good and serves the typical trendy food in a typical good way. Complimentary soup is just better than others and must try and Food is quality food also qehwa besides the counter makes you happy when you are paying off this worthy food.Thumbs up and i ll suggest to try at once for this.
Perfectly-grilled chicken everytime. Been in Dubai for five years and this is, by far, the best madhbi place I've been to. The place could use some extra space, though, as it gets packed in the evening especially on weekends. Busy place, not pricey, very much worth the wait everytime.
Good food. I like it. Real yamani chief. Small restaurant but they have tasty food. Regular menu of chicken, fish and meet with rice. Parking available in front of the restaurant.

Today my review of Dar al Mandi is not going to be about food. And I do apologize because zomato is about food, however, I feel like sharing what happened to me today. I received a phone call from Dar al Mandi asking me if I lost my purse, to my knowledge I did not, but when I checked, I found out that all my identity cards, health insurance card and credit cards are not in my purse. The restaurant staff kindly called me to give me back my cards that had fallen without me noticing from my purse. I want to thank them for their kindness, for getting out of their way, for their honesty and for taking good care of the Amanah. Thank you so much. And thank you for the kind soul who gave them the lost cards. You all made my day ! God bless you
