In Calcutta this place is also known as Tangra. Long time back Chinese immigrants established tanneries there and later made a quick buck by modifying their original Hakka Chinese cuisine to suit the cravings of the Bengali palate, resulting in the birth of Indo-Chinese fusion food, AKA Hakka/ Tangra food. This outlet is a shout away from our place and so we are regulars here. The staff is good, friendly and efficient and the food comes out in a jiffy from the word go. What I like here: Chicken/ prawns in Garlic sauce( I particularly like the sweet version) Sizzling prawns Honey chilli chicken( in thick sauce would be better) Kung pao chicken Sezwan fried rice Shanghai fried rice Canton fried rice China town special fried rice(this one is a keeper) What I didn't like that much: Sezwan noodles Ginger chicken What was just average that I tried: American chopsuey The half portions are more than sufficient for one person and if you have a light appetite, you can squeeze in two people!

I Have been a customer since ages and now tht I stay in shj I miss eating from this hotel. :( The taste is same since years.. They have that unbeatable taste n its my most fav chinese hotel in UAE. Food Portions are quiet filling and i just love their ambience. Food is always served hot and freshly prepared. My all time fav. Dishes Are The schezwan chkn fried rice, hot and sour soup and chicken manchurian. I ensure to have food from here whenever I am in Abuhail area. 😄
