Avon is little restaurant located in souq.. food item is limited..which is Indian..like sabudana vada, dabheli, bombay sandwich, Vada pav...all are good..
Lovely little restaurant located in the heart of Gold souq in Diera. Quality Indian snacks are served here with limited items on the menu and very pocket friendly. Limited sitting available and could take quite a time to get a table.
To begin with ordered the Dabeli which was tangy and spicy and well toasted off the grill. Had the famous Vada paav which too did not disappoint and was yes was spicy as well. The vada was seasoned well . To cool down the spiciness, ordered the sabodana vada and bombay sandwich. Simple and light i would say for the sandwich while the sabodana vada tasted yum along side the green chutney. Ended off with Kachori which again was delicious and Hot Masala chai which was refreshing.
Staff are nice and quick.This place is a real savior of hunger in such a beautiful and crowded place like Gold Souq.

Hi guys been here had Bombay sandwich it’s awesome and their sweet is also good the pricing is good it’s not high at all it’s a treasure in good souk area .
Very good varieties of items served here. Famous item what I heard from public about this place is chip sandwich. I tried that but found ok.
Also if you are a gujju & foodie then should not miss “garam gathiya” in the breakfast. I loved friday morning gathiya.
There is much rush on weekends for gathiya so be prepared to wait for mouthwatering breakfast.

This small outlet is in the heart of Gold Souq Market in Deira
Specialities are there amazing Chip sandwich which is a big sandwich roll filled with melted cheese, samosa filling tomatoes onions and green chillies nicely made and toasted and served hot
The other Must try's include
Mung Daal Kachori with a traditional taste of Gujarat
The filling Is a bit sweet but very good
Samosa Chaat is also a famous dish which comes with samosa topped with chole chana and a mix of green coriander chutney and tangy sweet tamarind chutney
VANELA
The most famous gujarati dish of all time and a super hit dish
They are Gathiyas made hot and fresh and served with asoefitida(hing powder) and Kachumber(fresh cabbage and green chillies salad) given as sides with the dish
MASALA CHAI
Fresh made Indian Tea with sugar and Indian spices nicely blended together and served hot

They serve the best chip sandwiches in dubai. I have had bhel there. Samosas dhabeli also. Its delicious. A very small restaurant in the middle of crowded souq. But if ull visit here ull must try the chip sandwich. They onli serve it On Sundays and Thursdays.
This place is famous for its Gujarati dishes and Gujarati people. Every sundays and Thursday's people line up for their chip sandwich. Here we had
A. Chips sandwich - fries and samosa wrapped in cheese in khuboos and toasted.
B. Dhabeli - Pav bhaji sandwich woh peanuts.
My review is based on my multiple visits to the place,

This place might be buried deep in the alleys of Deira but so are most treasures. Avon holds a reputed position in the hearts of many Gujarati in Dubai.
Famously known for their chips sandwich, the secret to their recipe is well guarded and very delicious. We order from this place every Thursday and here’s a friendly tip: you need to place the order just in enough time so they don’t run out of sandwiches.
