Had never ever dissappointed with the flavour, portion and the authenticity of the food on every visit! Simple unpretentious place with good price. The best Indonesian food in Dubai is here. The spicy variety sambals they have are favs of mine. If u love authentic south east asian food. This place should be one of your regular place to go.
For me this is the coziest resto in Dubai especially JLT Branch, Great taste with Authentic indonesian flavour and not forget to mention the portion as well....hahaha...highly recommended !
It was my first visit and I had soto batawi while my hubby had Nasi PAtang, which is his favorite because he’s a regular. I absolutely LOVE this game lace 👍👍 and our server was an absolute sweetheart.
Great Food, nice ambiance and Best service from PAUL! ☺️
We ordered nasi goreng and the Mie goreng - both of which were very good and accompanied by the prawn crackers. The card machine wasn't working apparently but overall I really liked the food and definitely would come back.

Disappointed that the ZOMATO GOLD offer doesn’t work here on one person, I was told that you can only use the 1 + 1 food offer if we are two people. As for my knowledge it’s buy one and get the other one of an equal amount or less free. Dosnt matter if you are a single person or accompanied.
Step in for the first time on last Sunday and enjoyed mix flavours of Indonesian cuisine.
I ordered for Soto Betawi, Bihun Goreng, Em Campur,
I loved Bihun Goreng noodles, need little more flavours in Soto soup I found bit blend, drink Es Campur was good.
The ambience was bright and colourful.
This is a nice little place serving home style asian food and I loved it. Very homely interiors and the staff are very hospitable. Have been here a couple of times and loved the food. The nasi goring could be better but everything else I've tried has been great including the gado gad and nasi Padang. All around a great experience for Indonesian food lovers.
they had some tasty food here, and comfy place...i guess better than their 2 franchise in other place.used to come here where the owner still used to stay here, but i guess she is never stay here anymore...located in karama with other indonesian restaurant nearby and indonesian shops.not all food is tasty but overall good place to hang out and relax on your weekend
I really enjoyed my visits to the Karama and JLT branch. The food is delicious and filling! I liked their drink with avocado and jackfruit, reminds me of tropical home.
This is where you should come for comfort food cooked like it would be at home. The dining area is basic, and a little hot during the summer, but the food more than compensates for that.
My favorit dish is the spicy oxtail served with a flavorful soup and rice on the side, yum!
Another firm favorit is the thin pandang pancake stuffed with grated coconut and palm sugar - divine!
Finally, their iced ginger drink is made with real ginger and actually tastes like it should!

Really amazing Indonesian food, small and cozy place its like a home kitchen that serves food very reasonable price, food taste is on point

Nice place to have Indonesian food with really good service. It's really small with just three tables and only cash payment is accepted. Most of the photos in Google maps are from the old spot where the restaurant was (it used to be close to the place they are now).

For over 12 years Betawi @betawicafedxb has had a reputation as the only authentic multi-award Indonesian restaurant in Dubai and rightfully so. A meal at Betawi is a chance to sample and savour the exotic cooking of Indonesia – the “land of a thousand islands”.
I had the staple Chicken Satay (Dh 45) which was chargrilled and cooked to perfection along with the thick flavour packed peanut sauce in was dunked in. A must order.
Another Indonesian cuisine favourite of mine is the Nasi Padang (Dh 52). It's a feast for the eyes, nose and tastebuds. You get succulent beef Rendang with mixed veg and coconut milk-based curry, a side of egg Balado, sliced tempeh & Kang Kung, served with plain rice & spicy green chilli. I've enjoyed this combination from the first time I had it more than 30 years ago.
Who doesn't know the quintessential Mie Goreng (Dh 48) that every Malay and Indonesian argue over who does better. The stir-fried egg noodles are made with shredded chicken, egg, vegetables, mixed with Indonesian, served with pickles and crackers. Lip smackingly delicious.
For a tasty, genuine experience with something more than your regular "Asian food" please check out Betawi. You won't be disappointed.
