I visited this restaurant for a pop up collaboration between two of Dubai’s best chefs. It’s a casual dining Mediterranean restaurant on Jumeirah Rd with some seriously funky interiors. They serve up a delicious selection of dishes including braised octopus to cordon bleu croquettes. It’s not a licensed venue but the food quality makes you forget all about it.
Artistic interiors and very uniquely designed. Very good selection in the menu and fresh food. The Croquette, Baked Feta Cheese and Greek Burger were my orders. The Croquette as a single piece was rich, cheesy, crispy and a little piece of deliciousness. The Baked Feta cheese was good and the Wagyu in the Greek Burger was exactly cooked to my taste. The chips that accompanied the burger were a stand out as they were triple cooked and perfectly crispy.
The service was impeccable with the charming Mariana doing a great job of explaining and recommending the popular dishes. Will try it out for breakfast soon as the menu looks really tempting!!
One of the best restaurants I have ever experienced in dubai and I’ve been here for over 20 years visited a lot of high end restaurants which I have couple negative points about them but Mad X is totally different unique experience and amazing food the waitress are very welcoming well organized and easy going I can see that this one restaurant with a very bright future a must to try in Dubai .
I'm just gonna say it this way... It is a must try place. The food have been crafted by the celebrity chef M.Orfali who simply applied the rules "simplicity is the key to perfection ". I guess they serve the tastiest french toast in town. Organic free range eggs, extra ordinary ambiance crafted by the owner who is a designer himself. Give it a try and let me know your thoughts
A friend of mine recommended this place to me when I wanted a nice place that's not too loud so that I can get some writing done. And I was not disappointed! The interior is so beautiful and well thought out, I'm really impressed by all the details. It's a really lovely place to enjoy solo or with a small group of friends. The music selection is great too, very calming music.
I tried the coffee and mushroom benedict, and was so pleased with the quality of ingredients. Will definitely be coming back.
One of the best places in Dubai in terms of food selection quality and presentation. The owner's hands on approach gives it a wonderful touch. Dubai needs more places like this where food is great and you feel rightv t home
Interesting coffee shop/restaurant with a welcoming atmosphere. The coffee is good quality, the desserts are fresh (warning:big portions) and the service very friendly. Every coffee is served with a dark chocolate truffle (very yummy) and presented in a lovely way (see pictures). Recommended if you’re in the area. Looking forward to try more food!
Loved this little cafe in Jumeirah. Staff was super friendly and service was quick. Food was presented so beautifully and was absolutely amazing! The French toast was the right amount of crispy with a gooey center. The labneh heirloom tomato open sandwich was very good too.
Great atmosphere, friendly staff and delicious food! Everything what you want for a family dinner out! Try their mains and desserts (strawberry pavlova and a cinnamon toast) !

A really fantastic place. It’s a 5star Restuarant for sure. The items on the menu, the design of the interiors, and the service makes it compete with very high end restaurants. We were extremely delighted with the delicious food, and the knowledge of the waitress serving our table. We had the curiosity to know more about the chef, the origin of the plates, etc... and she was really equipped with answers! This restaurant is a must visit, and definitely we are eager to visit frequently to try the rest of the menu!
Recommendations for the owner and the chef:
The design of the restaurant from the outside doesn’t really indicate the type of restaurant. Probably need more awareness for the people to notice the restaurant.
We tried the French toast, it was really delicious but the sauce was a little bit very sweet. I would recommend you lessen a little bit the sweetness in the sauce.. and it would make the best French toast ever!

Small and cozy place with outdoor seating. Diversified menu with many items some with a twist. We came here mainly for breakfast which we found to be good and delicious.
Service is friendly and good. Good for casual meal.
