Had ordered the Onam Sadhya for 3 persons.
Loved how the packaging was. It was a very huge boxes with more than 25 items in the paper board box. Each item was sealed in a plastic which was microwaveable. Banana leaf was also sent over.
Being a true South indian Veggie addict was happy had celebrated Keralite festival with Veg hut.. By flavor, taste and spice level it was definitely a must try at all times.
Located in the DIP area next to DIP head office, Veg Hut is fine restaurant in this area to have some beautiful, home cooked meals. The place is clean, sharp not not much of walls decos as such. but once you sit down to enjoy their food, everything comes lively. We started off with a masala chai and a filter coffee, typical stuff as you would only find in South India. Loved it. We started off with their medu vada, two pieces comes in a set with two dippings.

Delighted by their service and flavours, i decided to order their Mysore Masala Dosa, Mini Utthapa platter, Rava idli and Podi idli.
All the four dishes were super delicious. The sambar and chutneys were fantastic as well.
I ended my breakfast on a sweet note with some kesari bath and strong filter coffee.
The breakfast was light yet rich and flavourful. I highly recommend all their dishes.

Veg Hut is a pure vegetarian restaurant in DIP that has set high standards for fine South Indian cuisine in dubai. They Provide excellent and wholesome South Indian delicacies which is rare.
The chutneys that they serve with their food are yum and just the right amount of spice with a Unique madrasi touch to it.
The food we ate was all delicious and filling whilst being reasonably healthy.
Good food. Homely feeling. Not very spicy while being tasty. Hot pooris and Bun Parotta were the highlights. The kesari could be better though.

A hidden gem in DIP. Authentic South Indian food. Must try Ghee roast, vada (smaller than usual) but crispy outside soft inside, Idli, Pongal etc.The staff greets your with a smile always.

My 2nd visit was as great as the first one. Food options are very good and yummies. Place is clean and no unnecessary plastic decoration. This is my place to go for scrumptious Indian breakfast and Thali. Prices are reasonable too. Don't forget to order chai before you leave 👌

Absolutely love and trust this place when I'm craving south Indian breakfast (dosa's in particular).
I usually order online, 1 star less for the lack of chutney I usually request for.
But the rest is totally spot on!

Veg Hut is an authentic South Indian restaurant located in Dubai Investment Park. Its easy to locate & has ample car parking in the vicinity. The interiors are simple yet colorful giving you very positive vibes. The menu is elaborate & super affordable. Staff too is very humble & very approachable.
We started off with Vasant Neer which was a tender Coconut water mixed with honey & lemon. Found this very refreshing & different from other regular thirst quenchers.
Next came various Dosas like Triple Taste Masala Dosa, Spring Dosa , Ghee Podi Dosa , Mysore Cheese Dosa . Each Dosa variety was served with 3 types of chutneys & sambar. Though each Dosa was a heart winner but I liked the concept of Triple Taste Masala Dosa as it was a 3 in 1 plate Dosa. The size of the Dosas will be slightly small but you get 3 different varieties in one plate. Cool , right ?
Next was the Medu Vada & Buns. Medu Vada was nice & crisp served with chutney & sambar and a safe choice if cant think of any thing else. Buns were something I totally loved as it was the first time I tried these slightly sweet & savoury Buns. These are made up of flour , sugar & banana and then deeply fried. They tasted very nice with the chutneys. A must try !!
It was turn for the Idlis now. We were served Rava Idli & Black Pepper Idly. I am definitely going to have these two dishes again whenever I visit them . Black Pepper Idli was cubed & tempered with spices , coriander ,onions & capsicums. Can call this a flavour bomb.
These were just a few of the 100 dishes that they have & cant wait to go back and try the rest of the varieties. Highly recommend this place if you love South Indian food.
