Decent taste of food. We ordered for kebab, naan from this place. Served on time. And nearly packed..
My friends and I gave The Flipside a very unplanned visit and we were very pleased that we found a new hang out spot. The place had a nice vibe to it which was even further elevated thanks to our server Mike whose cheery and jolly attitude rubbed of on us too. We're definitely gonna give them another visit and for anyone looking for a welcoming vibe with great service do consider The Flipside in Century Village.
Flipside is lucky to have such an incredible staff like Mike(that rhymed) who is such a kick ass host. Amazing service. This is a must visit place if u enter century village.

I heard so much about this particular restaurant and had to try it out. I must say, I am a hard core non vegetarian and so not a fan of anything green.
I would like to mention that I met the owner Of flipside , and was completely blown away by his weight loss journey story. I am truly motivated to eat greens I was all ready to dig into a salad bowl when they served their delicious burger. Honestly, it did taste a little bit different but it was a good kind of different. 80% of what you get there is all plant based and the best part is you definitely don’t realise it.
The food was great but my highlight was their Tom yum soup. I love me a good Tom yum and these guys totally aced it.
The Flipside Restobar - Alternate Meat!! A good news for all the vegetarians and whoever wants a healthy balance life, here @theflipsiderestobar you will get multiple options of analogue meat even in burgers, honestly it exactly tastes like meat yet so healthy! This restobar SCREAM millennial!! With its super cool decors showcasing Netflix hits, artistic Graffiti and ENTERTAINMENT of all kinds including a pool table, PS station, live singing bar. This place will NOT LEAVE YOU bored. They proudly claim to “Be Entertainment” and there’s nothing to prove they aren’t!
Coming to the food, I knew about their plant based alternatives and HAD to try them out. The server suggested the Chefs famous kebabs. Although a little oily, they tasted fantastic. The alternative meat factor can only be realized if you known it before hand. It’s that good.
We also had some non alcoholic mock-tails, which were your average soda and syrup.
For mains we had the Alternative meat: How You doin’! YES JOEYS CATCHPHRASE. Their menu is named after a lot of famous catchphrases. The burger was cooked to perfection and the caramelized onions made it better.
Main 2 was the steak with mashed potatoes from the continental menu, again cooked amazingly by the chef and seasoned to perfection.
For dessert they generously got us their in-home chocolate cake. The consistency wasn’t all that great, but it tasted decadent.
Flipside also has a Indian sister restaurant with EVERYTHING BOLLYWOOD, from funky wallpapers to Salman-Sharukh-Amitabh tables. They mainly serve indian food. We couldn’t try it as were were already too full.
But by Gods grace when the corona situation is under control; DO VISIT this place and be FULLY entertained!!❤️❤️❤️❤️
In a bustling busy and expensive city like Dubai, to find a various dishes with great alternate meat option at a reasonable price is not easy, but Flipside nailed it! The burgers are the best I have had in forever and it doesn’t even taste like an vegan/vegetarian burger, which makes me want to go there everyday for all my meals to give the other dishes a try. By far, the best vegan/ vegetarian burger I have ever had. With a great fun ambience and funky decor along with super friendly attentive service,you can spend hours on end there. Well done,Flipside!
In a busy city like Dubai, Flipside gives you the countryside experience with their impeccable ambience and location. When was the last time you had your evening bites with the chirping birds? Flipside not only offers PERFECT ambience it also offers PERFECT food spread. The place serves alcohol as well as vegan food. This place has outdoor sitting area (which is utmost romantic in the evening), small library (a cosy corner with book and munchies), board games (back to the childhood days), PS4 (For the gaming lovers), live music (For the singer types), pool table (For ME types), what more can one ask for?
To me this place is 10 /10. Highly recommended.

Flipside is a fairly newly opened place with a great concept of Books Games & Food all under one roof.
Great interiors & Good service. Prices are Reasonable too.
We tried their veg burger which was a unique xperience it tasted really meaty & Delicious.
The soup as a starter was a lil too oily for me.
They just have one non alcoholic beverage option which was a deal breaker for us.
For desserts we tried Their special Cheesecake. It was yum & melt in the mouth.

Best known for their alternative meat options, this restaurant earned a 4 star rating because of their gorgeous outdoor seatings and ambience.
I was invited here for a Bloggers lunch and we sampled on some of their different food. The chef served us first with their Manchow Soup which had a good ginger flavor and I quite liked it.
We were then served with their alternative meat burgers, which had the quirkiest names and looked just like the usual beef patty with a similar texture. It doesn't taste the same as beef however, I would suggest this for vegetarians than to avid meat eaters.
Juices were served after this, and then followed by some Indian food, which was good. For dessert, we were served cupcake which we all felt was too basic.
The best part however has to be that they have a huge outdoor pool table and a variety of books and video games to enjoy in your visit here and you can easily spend hours relaxing here at their pretty chill vibe.

The Flipside Restobar is perfect place to spend some quality time while socializing with friends & family.
Embedded with pool table, video games, board games and lots of books to read.
There are a number of reasons for visiting this place.To list down a few, it has good music, ambience vibes and food options. The food menu is exceptional over here because they use meat alternatives which are product made from plants that is meant to taste like meat. With both beyond and impossible the plant based meat tastes so good and the dishes are a full of deliciousness.
The staff are very humbled and friendly.
There is a special nutritionist who is present everyday in the morning at the restaurant who will be there if you want to talk to about food and nutrition details.
While you enjoy some good food or sheesha, you can make new friends and socialize.
Lets talk food now;
Started with Tum Yum soup- It was a Thai soup which was very good to start with.
Olovieh Salad - The Russian Potato Salad was very good.
Shirly Temple- This fizzy drink with Berries was very refreshing.
Then we were served the Chef’s special Kebab- These tiny kebabs made with Alternative Meat mince and desi masala was a melt in the mouth.
the Flipside Burger - there is nothing better then a burger and this plant based meat burger allows you to eat more feeling great about health and sustainability.
By Peaky Blinders or Mutton Achari- The Mutton Achari was pretty simple yet absolutely ravishing,in taste and delightful with the white rice.
The Chocolate fountain Brounie - warm and fudgy vanila icecream melting on top of this nutty brownie is chocolate heaven.
The place will absolutely give u peppy vibe to relax and unwind. The staff are so kind also the owner will personally cater to you and look after if you are having a good time. The Manager Mr. Hamza is also vert attentive to every customers needs. Loved this place and I am surely catching up with my friends at this place soon

The “alternative meat” concept is fairly new to Dubai. While you do have certain restaurants serving burgers prepared using “alternative meat” patties, you do not have a standalone restaurant dedicated to it. The Flipside Restobar is the first restaurant in Dubai where the entire menu is designed around “alternative meats”. Alternative meats are essentially plant based meats (soy protein being the core ingredient) prepared to taste and look exactly like meat.
I was invited for a food tasting here on their opening night, along with other food bloggers. The owner, Mahesh, and the rest of the staff were very welcoming. Mahesh introduced us to the “alternative meat” concept and his passion behind it. The restaurant decor is refreshing with graffiti murals on the walls and the ceiling. Tables are well spread out and the space doesn’t feel cramped at all. They also have board games, books and a corner with bean bags and a play station. The overall vibe is relaxing. An outdoor seating area is also available, where shisha is served. Liquor is also served. They also have a small stage for live music, karaoke, and open mic nights.
A nifty feature we were introduced to is an app based menu, where you can register and save individual preferences for future visits. Menu selections can be customized to the last ingredient and the orders are directly sent to the kitchen.
We started with the Iranian Lentil Soup that was nicely done. For starters we were served Sweet Potato Fries and the Chef’s Special Kebab. The Kebabs tasted exactly like meat and had I not known that they were prepared using plant-based meats, I would not have been able to tell the difference. Served on wooden skewers with a side of mint yoghurt dip, they are surely something I would want to try again. The sweet potato fries were crispy and tasted great.
For mains, we tried one of their special burgers - the meat patty looked like regular meat and was juicy just like regular burgers. I personally am not a big fan of mushrooms but served with caramelized onions, the combinations worked very well. Next, we were served the “Euphoric Chili Corn with Spaghetti” - the spaghetti was topped with a mince similar to bolognese but plant-based. It was good but a little on the bland side, good for diners who prefer milder options on the menu. Last, we were served a dish called “By Order of Peaky Blinders”. This dish is essentially a take on Mutton Achari served on a bed of rice. Again, it tasted similar to regular mutton and tasted great.
For desserts, we had the “Tehran Cake” - A sponge cake baked with strawberries. The cake was freshly baked and tasted great. We also tried the “Honey Leila Hatami”. An Iranian/ Persian dessert, named after a famous Iranian actress and director. It is thick flat bread, soaked in Honey and sprinkled with sesame seeds and pistachio. Both desserts were good and the presentation of all the dishes served was excellent.
We ended our meal with Iranian Tea that went well with the overall meal.
I enjoyed the experience and was truly amazed by the texture and taste of the plant-based meats. Surely, a healthier option with no compromise on taste.

Apart from alternative meat they are offering few meat dishes too which can cater the needs of a Non Vegetarian person too. Thought to give this place a try as alternative meat is a totally new thing for me as I can’t think my life without real meal😉 but it was a new experience to try this vegetarian place. Simply in love with the ambiance and interior and lush green outside seating area in this perfect weather ofDubai which is soothing to eyes. If not for food will surely visit this place again for ambiance.

As i am not a vegetarian food fan but simply in love with the ambiance and concept of this place. As i felt some dishes taste needs to be improved. A perfect place for vegetarians looking for plant based meat options.

I heard so much about this particular restaurant and had to try it out. I must say, I am a hard core non vegetarian and so not a fan of anything green.
I would like to mention that I met the owner Of flipside , and was completely blown away by his weight loss journey story. I am truly motivated to eat greens I was all ready to dig into a salad bowl when they served their delicious burger. Honestly, it did taste a little bit different but it was a good kind of different. 80% of what you get there is all plant based and the best part is you definitely don’t realise it.
The food was great but my highlight was their Tom yum soup. I love me a good Tom yum and these guys totally aced it.
The Flipside Restobar - Alternate Meat!! A good news for all the vegetarians and whoever wants a healthy balance life, here @theflipsiderestobar you will get multiple options of analogue meat even in burgers, honestly it exactly tastes like meat yet so healthy! Whereas the Salmon was real 😄 as I am a hard core non vegetarian, swipe left to see more. Highly recommend for a good balance diet in your life. .

Okay, so I had been hearing and reading rave reviews about this restaurant and I HAD to try it for myself.
A friend and I visited this place on a Friday evening. The location is perfect. Tucked right inside Century village, this restaurant is a place you will want to hangout at. SMOKE SHISHA, PLAY FIFA (pun intended), play pool, read a book at a nice quiet corner, karaoke your heart out and yes, eat yummy food. Do all of this and have a great time at Flipside. First things first, you should really meet Mahesh if he is there, his story is mighty inspirational.
Now to the important part, food! Full marks for their Tom-Yum soup. I really really liked it. Out of all the dishes I have tried made with quinoa, theirs was my fav one. I am not typically a quinoa lover, or rather liker ( :P ) but their's I managed to finish, which according to me is great. The butter chicken and rice was really good, and OMG! Their burger!!! It was amazing. One of the best thing about this is that it is made from alternative meat which is completely vegan and gluten friendly.
Oh and also, if you are a shisha lover, their mint is a must try. I always play safe with shisha and only end of smoking the mint flavor cos the rest of the flavours give me a headache. Their mint flavoured shisha is honestly, one of the best I have had in Dubai.

This restobar SCREAM millennial!! With its super cool decors showcasing Netflix hits, artistic Graffiti and ENTERTAINMENT of all kinds including a pool table, PS station, live singing bar. This place will NOT LEAVE YOU bored. They proudly claim to “Be Entertainment” and there’s nothing to prove they aren’t!
Coming to the food, I knew about their plant based alternatives and HAD to try them out. The server suggested the Chefs famous kebabs. Although a little oily, they tasted fantastic. The alternative meat factor can only be realized if you known it before hand. It’s that good.
We also had some non alcoholic mock-tails, which were your average soda and syrup.
For mains we had the Alternative meat: How You doin’! YES JOEYS CATCHPHRASE. Their menu is named after a lot of famous catchphrases. The burger was cooked to perfection and the caramelized onions made it better.
Main 2 was the steak with mashed potatoes from the continental menu, again cooked amazingly by the chef and seasoned to perfection.
For dessert they generously got us their in-home chocolate cake. The consistency wasn’t all that great, but it tasted decadent.
Flipside also has a Indian sister restaurant with EVERYTHING BOLLYWOOD, from funky wallpapers to Salman-Sharukh-Amitabh tables. They mainly serve indian food. We couldn’t try it as were were already too full.
But by Gods grace when the corona situation is under control; DO VISIT this place and be FULLY entertained!!❤️❤️❤️❤️
