One of those old school places that has been in existence for umpteen years.. this small hole-in-a-wall cafeteria has no seating arrangement. You honk from your car, they deliver and you sip your tea / juices and munch on your sandwiches from the comfort of their car.
A hidden gem, this place is best known for the Chips Oman sandwich which they can do in both paratha or samoon (Arabic roll bread). They it just right, with the crunchy crushed chips and the tangy spicy taste of the hot sauce blending together in the crisp paratha for a unique taste.
Tea lovers also prefer their karak but I am not a fan of tea so can’t comment.
Amble parking space right outside or across the street if the bylane is full.

This is one of those low budget places in a string of small caffs in Zabeel. No menu, no seating, you just honk loud and tell them what you want and they'll bring it to your car. This one has been there for 40 years or so and they specialise in serving classic cheesy chips Oman sandwiches. Apparently their famous sandwich is the sliced hot dog with cheese spread, Oman chips and hot sauce for a bargainous AED5. Had a cocktail juice for AED 8 and was on my way for less than AED15. Friendly staff, decent taste. Ask to see the full page article on them in The National for extra nostalgia value.
Best place for karak tea and small sandwiches. Chicken, beef, egg, sausage, omelette and more variety Sandwiches in porota and sandwich bread. Nothing other than tea and sandwiches. But tasty. No seating & delivery.easy to pick and go.
