I always love this restaurant because it is the first ever restaurant where we keep on buying food on during the first time i step in Dubai.... around 2004.... Those time, my thought was the food are expensive but it is really delicous!
The Salt n pepper karama become my favorite of all Filipino resto on the very first bite. Although the resto is very small. No enough space to move but still seeing a lot of filipinos coming here.
So we went to order palabok , a birthday package! Delicously made as usual. There prices didnt really hike up... still affordable.
My favorites are marinated bangus and the chopsuey :)
I checked with Salt n Pepper if they will accept my order (catering package) 3 days before the event. Luckily they accepted. Guests enjoyed the food. Special thanks to Ms Analyn for accepting the order.
I love the kare kare, buko panda and sago't gulaman.
Normally I don't eat Filipino food, but a friend suggested we go there and so I obliged. Let me cut to the chase, so the place is puny, but gives off homely vibes. The staff is friendly and not readily available. I'd ordered meatballs and rice. It was quite nice. Simple rustic dish that probably would've made some tita Anne proud back in Phillipines.
To conclude, price is good. Food is good. Ice tea is just right. And the ambience is so-so.
Would I go there again? Sure, why not, loads of things to try off the menu.
