(التعليق الأصلي) Ended up here accidentally last week and was pleasantly surprised. The restaurant was empty - not a soul aside from us. Then again it was closer to 11pm so its forgivable. There were three of us and we skipped on the soup, ordered one starter and 3 mains instead. The quantity was enough to feed 5 grown adult males comfortably, and the food was excellent too. We had the Salt'n Pepper winglets which were fairly hot (in a good way). A bit too much oil perhaps. Beef in Pepper/Garlic sauce was the pick of the night - beautifully done, just the right measures of garlic and pepper, and the quality of the meat was surprisingly good. Chicken in black bean sauce was okay-ish, I've definitely had better. Egg fried rice was meh. Rice is rice, you have to be an outstanding chef to make EFR memorable. Bill came to around 120 including a large bottle of water and I reckon almost 40% of the food was leftover - thanks to how big their portions are. The service is good, attentive and prompt. Food appeared to be freshly cooked and the taste was spot on - whats not to like? I'd rate it an easy 5/7. Definitely going again.
