If you are craving for 'apne desi ghar' ka khana you should be heading to 'The Grub House'. Nestled inside the lanes of international city its a restaurant with decent ambience and delicious food.
We had been to the restaurant for dinner and tried non veg chicken and fish platter. All the kababs were well marinated, perfectly grilled and mildly spicy. My favourite was the lasooni and hariyali fish tikka. A must have starters.
For mains we had Mutton rogan gosht and Fish tawa masala. Both had a lavish texture, right spices and well cooked. All the rotis were freshly prepared and were warm and soft. Mutton masala biryani was full of flavour and spicy as it was tossed with sufficient masala, mutton in it was soft and juicy.
Gulab jamun with icream and Ras malai were the dessert we tried, both were well made and acceptably sweet and it was the best way to end this meal.
Pricing is pretty decent. I will be visiting again to try other stuffs here. And just in case you too are craving for "apne desi ghar' ka khana but in the comfort of your home call 'The Grub house' they do home delivery too.
When The grub house restaurant started, I am going there regularly. Food is very good. Every time you will get satisfaction of eating. Staff is very good,polite.
If you are looking out for economical and good quality and taste, then grub house is the place for North Indian & Chinese cusine in International city. Some of the best fish starters i have tasted, soft and succulent.
The best is Fish lasooni tikka and the Fish Hariyali or try the Fish platter. In main course try the Mutton Rogan Ghosh with wheat Paratha and Garlic Chilli noodles. End your feast with Jumbo sized Ras Malai & KitKat smoothie.
One of my fav place in international city to order for both veg and nonveg food ( indian) .
The food is really nice and the blend of spice and flavors are just right .
The daal makhni is one of my fav as the suttle taste of the sweetness is maintained and it’s an awesome feel in ur pallet which sometimes is difficult to explain
Nice food in North Indian style. All dishes are good service was quick. Texture and favour of dishes is maintained. Overall experience is good to try again.
The lunch at work was pretty wholesome thanks to this place! Ordered the Chinese Combo (Veg & Non-Veg) - which was such a steal honestly. It can easily be shared for 2 and we ordered 2 of these so it was a party alright. The only bummer is the delivery otherwise a whole 5-star rating was deserved. I must try the other dishes someday! Highly recommend for the Chinese food, melt in the mouth kind!
Few items on the menu are good. I like their Chilly chicken gravy n Dal fry. So as for food I’ll rate this place as 3.5/5. I’m giving 5/5 rating for their service. They are very polite over phone & on request they did deliver the food as quickly as possible.
Ordered food to office and man! The guy reached at the right time and the food was good. I ordered the mutton biriyani combo. It was so spicy that every spoon was filled with tears but at the same time it was tasty. There were some kebabs, it wasn’t that great and some tikka slices which was dry but apart from alll that the biriyani was amazing. Then my colleague ordered paneer butter masala combo, the quantity is good. And she liked it so yeah overall would suggest to a person who eats spicy food. ☺️
Very good food, the hakka noodles were very nice, gravy can be improved. The delivery was fine but can be more efficient. Overall very nice and tasty food, highly recommended
Ordered twice from here and the food has been top notch. They have always delivered in the time mentioned on the app, sometimes earlier even though I stay approx 7-8 kms away. I ordered the chicken tikka biryani and found it to be very well made, the only issue being that there’s a bit too much of masala gravy. I had also ordered Mutton biryani and it was very well made, although I felt it to be a bit less spicy than normal. The meat and rice was plenty. These guys do a great job!
This is one of the goan themed food Indian restaurant where I give a 4 for the ambiance, food and service . And very child friendly . We ordered both non vegetarian and vegetarian food , and a couple of cocktails . The beverages were amazing and something everyone should try , but the portions of these are huge which is something the management should mention in the menu . Overall an amazing experience .
Ordered for the 1st today, very nice packaging for the meal, tastes great and fresh...very good price....will defiantly order again and recomend it to my friends.
Ordered Chicken Dum Biryani and Chicken Tikka Biryani and I should say it's a must try.
It has perfect blend of spices and really tasty. Even the delivery was before time.
Well first I was confused if this was Grub Shack. Never the less they are at par to Grub Shack level. I was really impressed by the delivery and the way they did customization over my order under my instruction. Their desi food is worth trying out. Specially the biryani and kadahi section. How ever even though the chinese section is pretty decent they can do bit more work on that. I wish you guys all the very best!! A little extra gravy does wonders guys😉!!!

We ordered Chicken tikka and Veg Schezwan Noodles. The tikka was amazing. Juicy and mouth watering. The highlight of our order was definitely that. The noodles was good too. Definitely recommended.

Palak kichidi - 3/5 - being a South Indian the kichidi tasted more like Palak sambar rice for me. The flavour was decent but it didn’t taste like kichidi at all.

Beeing in Dubai more than 14 years it makes me very pickey when it comes to Indian food . as I was searching for great tasty and not heavey one . you can nominate some of the Indian food brands in Dubai . however this restaurant is the best one . from the time of delivery till we ate all the order ( some of them balanced as we were full ) . taste was such amazing . value of order was only 83 AED and it feeds 4 of us till the max . this is the first time my wife told me to take the restaurant name and order again . and this is what I will do . super thanks to the team . staff and managment you are the best

Ordered food online from TGH, looking at the menu we ordered for the non veg platter . It was freshly prepared and delivered to us within 35 mins of time which is pretty quick . The food was hot , it tasted pretty good . Loved their chicken tikka and kababs as well . Will surely visit again to try out their other dishes as well .
great food! having spent 2 months in the UAE, I was missing home cooked roti and sabji.. I ordered the veg thalli, it was delicious. thank you, will most definitely be ordering again very soon.

An Indian restaurant that serves authentic Indian food. They have some amazing combos for a reasonable price. The food is delicious and is desi !! I tried the non veg platter which was a mix if non veg kebabs. This tasted well. I then tried the Chinese combo with noodles that had two Chinese non veg gravies as well. The portion was huge and can be easily shared by 2. Also ordered for their deluxe thali which had a lot of dishes and was authentic Indian Thali i can say. The Butter chicken Thali was nice too that came with butter naan. The karela Dopyaza was something we tried for the first time and it was good. For the desserts we got Ras malai. The best part was it wasn’t over sweet. I totally loved it. Overall a great experience and the delivery was quick. The food is priced very reasonably. If you live in International city, Mirdiff, Silicon Oasis or academic city then do give this place a try and i am sure you will love it.

The One and Only Restaurant in International City which uses FRESH Ingredients in their Menu. The food offered in this place is of High Quality and Consistency. Service by the Staff is very Friendly and Quality Oriented. The Restaurant and the Staff surely deserve a 5 Star Rating!. All these things were a part of History.
Recently a new Management has taken over this restaurant and I am not sure if everything is same as it used to be.

Had been to this place for lunch as I happened to be in international city . Not really crowded in the afternoon being a week day. Ordered for tandoori chicken which was served in 20 mins. Staff was courteous . Tandoori chicken was perfectly spiced and tasted delicious . Cost was very reasonable too .
Tried this restaurant couple of months later again with family .Tried mutton dum biryani, matka chicken, garlic naan and crispy chicken and loved everything. Decent ambience , friendly staff , good food and reasonable pricing . A must visit place in international city

Anytime you want to impress me say indo-chinese and you had me at that!!! Grub House is a multicuisine restaurant located in international city. It offers both Indian and Indo-Chinese cuisine.
We decided to order in this time. Suffice to say that the food arrived on time and intact. We ordered:-
Crispy chicken
Chicken balls in hot garlic sauce
Schezwan Mixed Noodles
Seafood Fried rice
For Dessert:-
Rasmalai
Gulab Jamun
Both crispy chicken and chicken-balls in hot garlic sauce were well portioned, yummy and the texture and flavours were rightly balanced. Even though it was a home-delivery the chicken still sustained it’s crispiness, which is laudable.
Schezwan mix noodles were mild spicy (even though I prefer hotter) but definitely delicious.
Seafood fried rice was well prepared and the squid and prawns were well cooked and succulent.
Rasmalai and Gulab Jamun was nice and my kid enjoyed it thoroughly.
Next time I’ll try their Indian food....hmmm...probably next week and update my review again.
