The restaurant itself is spacious with both indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor area has a fantastic view of Burj Khalifa and the rest of the high rises around the Dubai Mall/DIFC area. The inside of the restaurant is nicely decorated and will let you eat in a relatively comfortable environment. As soon as I laid eyes on the menu, I knew the chef had flexed his creative muscles when he was designing the menu. The combination of ingredients in every dish were genuinely Italian. Italian cuisine is known for their pizza and pasta, which didn't disappoint on this evening. To me, the most important aspects is the flavour which the chef did a great job on, on all the dishes. The time spent cooking some of the dishes could be improved on as I found some items like the shrimps were slightly overcooked, but that is an easy fix. As I mentioned, the hardest thing in preparing Italian food is getting the flavours to perfection and I thought the chef did a great job in doing so. Visually, the presentation of each dish was also excellent. Time and effort went into plating each dish and taking the time to cleaning the plate before serving the food. The drinks is one area where Camuti can improve upon. The alcohol drinks were consistent of course as there is not much to prepare, they just have to nail the right amount of liquor or pour wine out of the bottle. It seemed the juices were watered down, either that or the combinations were not right. I found them to be weak in terms of concentration of flavours. The desserts were nice, they were sweet enough for you to enjoy but not overpowering to the point where you want to stop eating. Overall, Camuti is a place where you can enjoy reasonably priced authentic Italian cuisine and worth checking out if you are in the area.
