I had ordered the meat with cheese pastry and mushroom and chicken pastry. A must try from gulf pastry. The service was good. The delivery was quick
Freshly prepared to order Arabic pastries with traditional meat, cheese and vegetable fillings. Friendly and professional service although English language is a little limited, you may speak to more than one person. Very prompt delivery and fair prices. Good quality food. I recommend this little eaterie!

We tried Mushaltats which are basically flat bread pies from Gulf Pastry for a delivery order. We had tried them first in AlAin and really liked that branch. So once we came to know about their branch in Jumeirah , we had to try them here too. We tested their Saudi Motabak flavour and Chicken+Vegetables.
The order came in good time and the servings are really generous. These pies size is of an XL pizza base. We had a bit of a hassle in the delivery as the address had to be clarified to the team via whatsapp location sharing and language was an issue too. But they did come in proper time for the distance. With hot pies.
The pies are dressing with simple lemon and green chillies. The saudi motabak flavour is very near to a Murtabak we get form Malaysian joints, the only difference being this version is baked and not fried flat bread. That being said, we really loved the flavour. The egg binds the flavours perfectly with the thin baked flat bread. This was easily one of the best baked items we have had here. The taste was immaculately done.
The chicken and vegetables pie was similar in the size and the bread was similarly baked. The only difference was that the chicken was a bit overdone and thus dry. That did make it a bit chewy which took away from the balanced spices in this pie.
All in all we enjoyed the motabak flavour enough to definitely try them again. And maybe not Chicken+Vegetable flavor.
I have been a fan of Baked Goodies since forever & absolutely love the Goodies from here...

A Pocket Friendly place & high on Taste..Much recommended! This place is meant for take aways only since there is no seating arrangment..
My husband and I love Gulf Pastry. We’ve been loyal patrons for years. But the trick is to eat them all as soon as you get them - while they are still fresh and warm.
What we usually order:
1) Cheese with Egg (wow!)
2) Kraft Cheese Hot Dog (addictive)
3) Foul (classic)
4) Labnah Falafel (also a knockout)
5) Cheese Chicken (N’s fave)
6) Meat Mushroom
Check them out. This is what you call tasty no frills budget food!

Let me calmly ask how this place could ever get to such a low rating... I now make it a habit to come here if I am even relatively nearby. I love it, so please try it before ignoring it.
This review is over the course of two visits, so try not to judge all of the food.
Food:
Zaatar Manakish - may have been the best I have ever had. They make it with minimal grease even though the cheese tastes fresh and is very stringy. The zaatar itself even had a nice potent flavor while the dough was, of course, baked perfectly.
Chicken Pastry - amazing. The chicken was cooked very well with nice potent seasoning. Similarly, the cheese was delicious and the dough was soft but still nicely baked.
Meat Pastry - this is my wife's favorite and it is a highlight. Similar to the other pastry, the dough and cheese were wonderful. The meat is tender and seasoned lightly and well.
Kraft and Honey Mushtatel (spelling?) - very good, although I would go with cream instead of Kraft next time (just not my mind of thing). The thin dough was nice and crispy and the dish was generally well cooked and evenly flavored. It was also enormous.
Chicken Doner - great sandwich in their infamous bread
Service: everyone was nice, patient, and got our food quickly.
Ambience: a bit of an older 'hole in the wall' vibe, but very clean and it is nice to see the clean gear they use.
Bang for Buck: very good.
I will go back here. A lot.

While Gulf Pastry is mostly known for their mana'eesh, fatayer, & other doughy appetizers, (which are ok), what really makes them stand out to me & go there often is their *shawarma.*
What makes it so tasty is the choice of breads (Turkish doner or saj) and the options of what you can put inside (lettuce, tomato, pickles, really good garlic sauce or yogurt sauce, etc). This makes for a very delicious shawarma made how you like it.
I've missed this place which closed down next to my house. Some of the best cheese and zatar used in their manakish. I couldn't resist a cheese with olive. It is still as good, the bread is a bit sweet but the salty cheese and olive balance it right out. Hardly a few chairs to sit, just eat out of the take away box immediately.

الخدمه ممتاااازه و سريعه
الاطباق كبيره و وافره جداً
اخذنا ورق عنب كان جاهز هو الطبق الوحيد اللي ماحبيته
و اخذت فتة باذنجان باللحم رهيييبه بس فيها شوي عيب الباذنجان شارب زيت شوي
و اخذت حمص مع شاورما دجاج فناااااان
و واخذت مشكل مشاوي لحم رهيييب العجيب اني ما احب القرفه لكن نكهة القرفه اللي في المشاوي كانت فنانه و موزونه و زادت المشاوي نكهه رهيبه و مختلفه
و اخذت شوربة كريمة دجاج فنانه و مضبوطه
و اخذت مهلبيه لذيذه للي يحبون نكهة موية الورد
و اخذت شاي مع نعناع يجيبونه كذا مثل الصوره وانت تحط الشاي
فنانين استمرو على نفس المستوى
الطعم موقعه رائع والخدمات كانت مرة مميزة. الموظفين ماقصروا معنا خاصة اود ان اخص بالشكر المدير بسام وزياد الذي وفروا لنا امسية طيبة. وجبة العشاء كانت مرة مميزة. اصدقائي من أستراليا استانسو من المطعم واستطعتم ان تقدموا لهم شيئ من الحضارة والكرم العربي. شكرا جزيلا لكل الموظفين في مطعم الحلاب على تقديم احلى واجمل الليالي لضيوفي الأسترالي في مدينة دبي.
