المطعم وايد تحسن ماشاالله ومندي اللحم و الحنيذ ولا غلطه
The food has improved alot, mutton mandi and mutton haneeth is perfect now. Good job.
Their mutton Zurbian is the best I have had so far in Ras al Khaimah. Nice private dining area for families and groups.
1st experience was just a yummy experience...ordered mutton hanid & chicken madfoon...both were excellent....flavorful well cooked....the soup (shorba) was excellent....kunafa was the best I had in the past few years....to end with their flavoured sulaimani was classic....really affordable rates
To keep it short and sweet, *One of the Best Place to have Yemeni food 👌🏻
Value for money, EXCELLENT FOOD, good service
If you ever want to check out this place , ask for their “zerubian” ( mutton ), it is just simply amazing. 10/10. And dont get angry seeing their salad plates tho.
We were returning from a two days visit to Khasab, Oman and we were terribly hungry. Found this place on our way and decided to have our lunch there. They focus on privacy and provide separate tents for each family, very comfortable though. Their rice items are 4/5 as we felt it can get even better but they have a mutton curry items that is just killing.. it came with a big piece of yemani bread and the combination was truly finger licking good!! Just one thing, please work on your communication skills as we found it difficult to communicate with the gentlemen serving us.
'When there is good food, one can never resist it!'
We visited Hadramout Mandi & Madfoon restaurant in Al Nakheel, Ras Al Khaimah for lunch as a group of colleagues on a weekday. The restaurant serves traditional Mandi rice, Arabic kababs and kunafa! It is suitable for non-vegetarians. There is a regular table-chair seating as well as cubicle seating on a carpeted floor… the traditional type!
Here is a review of what we tasted:
1. Chicken mandi: This was very tasty – the rice had a lovely flavor.
2. Mutton mandi: The mutton was soft - although the pieces were large, they were cooked well.
3. Chicken madfoon: I tasted this for the first time and it was tasty.
4. Fish gravy: This was kingfish with gravy – it was good.
5. Salsa: They were of two types – one plain and the other with cheese (jibn). I liked both, especially the cheese one.
6. Kunafa: The kunafa had cream and cheese in it. Sugar syrup was poured over it just before serving. It was hot and delicious – couldn’t resist ordering an extra one!
They serve complimentary soup, salad and spiced tea with every meal. The quantities are large and therefore, the food can be shared.
The staff is friendly and the ambience is lovely. Limited free parking is available outside the restaurant.

This is one of the classic places we always take guests when they come. It's the traditional, sit on the ground majilis style experience that feels "exotic" (until your knees start hurting) and is always memorable for people new to the country. With that being said, it's not just the ambience and experience that keeps us coming back. IT'S THE FOUL.
"Foul??" You say, "You come back for *beans*?" You say. Yes. Yes, and again yes! If you think of the pasty brown goo sitting in a dish at hotel buffets, think again, and be ready to have your mind blown. I crave it on a regular (okay fine, monthly) basis. It comes out in a sizzling cast iron dish, and once it cools down enough to eat, is fantastically spiced, especially when paired with the bread. The eggs are another winner that will surprise and delight you almost as much as the foul.
Honestly, the meat and rice are just average in my opinion. There's a slight variance from other restaurants I'm sure, but it's really hard for me as an American to pick it out. Turns out that's a good thing, because I stay away from the right page of the menu (40-50AED for a meat with rice-- not bad) and stick to the left side of the menu (where the foul and eggs are, plus other delicious things, of course, at 10-15 AED per plate- GREAT prices). I let guests pay for this meal because it's darn cheap and darn delicious, and they probably should pay me for the gift of bringing them here. ;)
Bright ambiance, family friendly, and attentive staff.
There was a flavor apart from the usual rice flavor added to the rice using carrots, egg plants and potatoes. Usually we need some sauce to enrich the flavor of the rice but i frankly felt the rice had that flavor to enjoy the Meat Madfoon.
Madfoon Laham:- Good(rice was good)
Arabic Rutab Bread:- Good
Saloona Potatoe:- Good
We wanted to taste Mandi and Madfoon and came to Hadramout. It is not a touristic place, the taxi drivers did not know it. Madfoon was out but we ordered Meat Mandi and Meat Hanith (lamb). It tasted good, the meat was very tender and the rice spicy, the portions are huge. There was also a very good chicken soup and two salads from the house. The Kunafah was lukewarm and heavenly and the tea was also very good. We paid 91 AED for everything that is good value for money. The ambience is nice, everything is clean, there are private rooms and also the wash basin area is clean. The staff is friendly and ready to help you if you want something. I can recommend the restaurant.
