‪orchid Restaurant‬

I chose this restaurant for buffet dinner for my family and a friend making it 3 adults and 2 kids ( age 5 and age 1) .I really wanted to visit here as one of my friend suggested it.It is a wide restaurant with sesting capacity of more than 200 pax.the shape of restaurant is a rectangle where one of the lenghth side is the buffet setup and other is the seating.which is divided in 50 pax each.Bit old fashioned but i dont mind visiting old places because we relive that style.

So as we entered the restaurant we were welcomed by Eliana with her pretty smile she chose a perfect round table for us.
As we started with dinner.
First was the bread section which had all possible choices like multigrain..brown..sliced and loaf.. and buns ..and bread rolls ...
Next was salads.They offered more than 12 variety of salads both arabic and italian and indian.like
Pasta salad ,tabouleh and fatoush
Potato and mango salad,chicken salad,shrimps salad.They do had a seperate section of make your own greek salad.
The most we loved was olives.they were so juicy ..and ripe..i felt like i was having big grapes..super amazing..i wish i knew where they purchased them from.
For pastes they offered
Moutabel hummus,sour cream
Sauces etc all were on buffet.
Next was soup..
There were two varieties chicken soup and lentil soup.
Next was starters..
There was pakodas,spring rolls and cheese manakeesh
For main course they served
Biryani,steamed vegetable,tossed potatoes,pasta in white sauce,lamb okra,chicken korma,chicken mandi with a tangy tomato chutney,lamb kofta and potato,beef ala chilli
Also they had choley ,dal makhni and white rice seperately in vegetarian options.
I couldnt find any drinks to grab so we ordered watermelon juice and fresh orange juice for kids.
As my little one wanted pasta in pink sauce with olives we requested chef Tabil for the same and was very courteous in preparing that according to my kids choice.
Next was deserts
It included various variety like chocolate fudge cake,umm ali,vanilla millefiulle,devil cake ,spiral arabic sweet dish,fruit salds..and many more..more than 15 deserts were on buffet both cold and warm .plus the ice creams.The serving staff was all smiles all the time . Mr Manzar the Manager was kind enough to suggest various options for drinks.later we had cafe latte and my favourite chamomile tea with honey.Thank you to the whole team for your courteous hospitality and making people to come back again and again for such an amazing time. Thank you and alml the best to the whole team for their hard work and excellent service . Ill definitely be back and will recommend to our family and friends .

Amazing food. My most favorite is the desert section. There's always something new to try from the buffet. I recomment this place in Ajman for a feasting buffet.

Orchid in Ramada Black Box Ajman is a place for BUFFET be it breakfast, lunch or dinner. I used to dine regularly here and have seen the good and the bad of Orchid. Buffet is priced at AED 110PP. The spread is good and value for money especially if you avail the 50% discount they have to offer via credit cards and happy hours. Literally its begging to be taken. It's that easy especially if you are a resident of UAE. Most of their customers are the tourist guests that stay in the Hotel.

And now the Food...........
They have varieties of dishes. Cuisine includes English, Continental, Arabic, Indian and International. I like the choice they have. Taste generally is good with one or two items being excellent.

Food freshness:
Food obviously is freshly prepared there is absolutely no doubt but what surprised me the most was they use plenty of frozen veggies, meats in their kitchen. Even in the fried rice and noodles they use frozen vegetables and the same with Indian veg curries. C'mon guys can you not dice few fresh carrots and beans atleast? That's a big let down for Orchid. The FISH too is the frozen Cream dory whatever the preparation is fried or continental. Never once did I get to see anything other than cream dory. That was highly disappointing.

Service:
The staff that serves guests is AMAZING! Always attentive, keeping a trained eye on the guests' requirements be it clearing up plates or refilling water they are spot on. Not too intrusive and they exemplify service with a smile:) well done guys @and keep it up! The restaurant must thank the staff for making it's average dining experience a good one. The extra half point is scored by them.

Al Wasl Dhow, a brand new and biggest dhow in Dubai Marina, was launched and started greeting guests for a memorable dhow cruise dinner. Al Wasl Dhow, a noteworthy accumulation for the group to the existing fleet of luxury and sports yachts, sizeable number of safari vehicles along with its campsite which can accommodate around 1000 guests at a time, is a strong clue towards which the company aims to align its ever-flourishing business of Tourism in Dubai.It consists of two decks: the lower deck provides the air-conditioned and romantic ambiance whereas the upper deck brings the flavor and feel of cordiality for which Dubai is known for among tourists.

Visted the restaurant during my stay...ive never had a more well prepared chicken ever....all the food was perfectly seasoned and the buffet had a wide and different variety everyday..the breakfast was good but the scrambled eggs had a bit of an extra yolk taste to it....the salads and sweets were all to my liking...the food portions are quite large and worth the price...meats cooked to perfection...friendly and helpful staff....quick service...all over good experience
