If you want a good mixed grill platter with a very nice sea view from then head over to al roof resturant in Ajman. The food was perfectly cooked, khubus was freshly cooked served and was complimentry. Kunafa was awesome too. We had some juices as well, they were also good.
Over all a very good experince with a veey lovely atmosphere.
The taco pizza was the bestttt😍 we also ordered the mexican shawerma which was not bad. We had the blue mist sheesha that was really nice. The outdoor ambience was great with a sea view 😍 all in all great experience

Me and my friends decided to go out for dinner as we were planning a reunion from a long time. So since we were meeting a friend in Ajman , we decided we would go and try the food at Al Roof as we had heard a lot of positive things about it. The location of the restaurant is just perfect with ample parking space available. The ambience of the restaurant is very mesmerizing and even though it was packed with people , there was not a lot of noise making it an even better dining experience. We order Three servings of the mix grill extra, one shish taouk , two servings of kabab bazenjan( kabab with eggplants) and soft drinks. The mixed grill was a bit pricey but the tender meat and the flavors of the kabab and rice made us forget about the price for once. The platter consisted of shish taouk , kabab orfali, lamb chops ,meat tikka and arayes. All of them were perfectly cooked and tender but in terms of taste the kabab orfali and the lamb chops were the winners in the mixed grill platter.
The next dish the kabab bazenjan ( kabab with eggplant and capsicums) was just too good. The kababs were so soft , juicy and perfectly flavored that they could easily melt in your mouth. I'm not a fan of eggplant when it comes to vegetables but the grilled eggplant served in this dish was just too good and balanced the spice in the kabab. Over all the food was worth the price and the ambience of the restaurant. Will highly recommend if you're looking for a fancy place to eat.
Would definitely visit again and try the shisha as well.
A bit late in sharing this review, but I visited this place back in March. The weather was amazing, and we always look for new places to hang out during the cooler months. We were in the Ajman corniche area running an errand and happened to see this place. We wanted to eat, we wanted to have shisha, so this was the place we chose. It's a huge restaurant with great ambiance. Indoor and outdoor seating is available. Outdoor seating area faces the beach, which is so pretty. The seating is not at all congested.
We ordered a shakshouka and a plate of hummus and enjoyed both of them. Great food for great prices. Shisha was pretty decent too. Service could be a little better. But overall, it wasn't too bad. I would rate it 3.8
We ordered chicken Fajita which comes with bread and cordon bleu with amazing fries, taste was good. We have ordered chocolate mousse royale icecream which was amazing but i wish they hadn’t compromised with the quantity. Their service was also fairly quick but the sad part is that their outdoor terrace was closed.

I was there with a friend on a weekday and was surprised to find the place nearly full.
Ambience - The outside sitting area has lovely views of the beach and I recommend sitting there only when u visit.
Food - the food was good, nothing wow; we had a salad, manakeesh and mixed grills.
Service - the service was quick, staff courteous.

They used too much cheese on the cordon bleu, the fries are very delicious. All in all it was a very satisfying dinner.
We also got some shisha. I won't recommend the light flavors.
The service is very impressive and organized. We went there on a weekend. People wanted the tablea near the beach. We did not wait long bec the staff knew what to do.
I booked a table for two to celebrate my wedding anniversary with my wife. When we arrived, the place was packed, but our table was there, right by the seaside. Service was quick and efficient, and the food was excellent, very much worth the price we paid for it :) Will definitely visit again, this time during the day for a better view of the beach

I went to Al Roof resturant today with friends as the weather getting to be nice .. the view was amazzzzzzzing , the food was not bad, stuff were all helpful and good enough thou it was crowded... I do highly recommend it if you are looking for a nice view not expensive place.
Everything from the service, food and atmosphere was top class. Only 1 point i would like to mention is that the khubus they served with the hummus was cold and very chewy. They should have served a softer khubus as thats what goes best.
Had a dinner at sunset and was amazed by the atmosphere and experience. Very nice place, amazing service, extremely tasty fresh food and shisha was stunning.

I like this place.. it has got a great ambiance and location is perfect. Food is good as well. My fav is cordon bleu. And the shish tawook is yumm too! Best part is, its kids friendly and theres a designated non smoking area for kids and families

It was my first visit to this place and i left it being fully satisfied by ambience, food and staff. The food was delicious. The service was quick and staff was very friendly and accommodating. I would really reccomend this place for lunch or dinner. And price wise as well was surprised in a good way: for appetizers, main coarse, dessert and shisha i paid 127 aed, comparison to dubai it was quite cheap.
The ambience of the restaurant is amazing and football screenings are a plus during the world cup.

One of my favorite places to visit during the cooler months. The service and food is good and i enjoy seating out on the balcony. Normally full but service has always been consistent.

We wanted to make the most of the weather before the full heat of the summer sets in so we decided to go for Al Roof in Ajman. It faces the Ajman beach and it’s like sitting on top of the beach. There is light music playing in the background but enough that you can easily sit and have a good conversation. I loved the fresh air and the sound of the waves of the beach.
We ordered Hummous, Mutabbal and Mix Grill. When I had entered the restaurant, it was an elegant set up with a beautiful view so honestly, I wasn’t expecting much in terms of taste because there are quite a few places with beautiful views but lack in terms of taste of food. But I was wrong –the food was DELICIOUS; there was ample quantity and with the view that this restaurant was giving, the price was good.
- The Hummous was light and tasty.
- The Mutabbal was zesty with pomegranate seeds.
- The grill was delicious-the meat was soft and tender, the kebabs were juicy and full of flavor.
Great food, amazing view and the beautiful sounds of the waves made for a perfect evening.
Nice place in the middle of ajman for evening long talks!!

The best point about this place is the view, the limitation is that most of the guests are shisha smokers so it's an issue if you want to avoid that. Food was good on both quality and quantity, price wise it was fair.

The Fettuccine Arrabiata was very good and so were the Chicken wings we ordered. The tangy hit after biting into them really took you by surprise , yet amazing to taste. Also, the Lotus Crepe is a must have on your visit. It’s simply delicious. Also not to forget the ambience which was very pleasant and so was the Sheesha. Would visit again.

Good food and service here. Manakish with cheese and veggies is a must try. The juices are very good. Unlike their competitor sultan saray which is right below them Al roof is very accommodating and welcoming. Must try in Ajman.
I must say their ambience is amazing.. I went with my colleagues and they also absolutely loved it.. we had halloumi and chicken garlic and lemon .. halloumi was soft and tender and the chicken garlic and lemon was very yummy and had a limey taste to it.. the garlic paste was very good with their breads. We also ordered mixed grill and kabab hindi.. their kebab hindi was different with tomato sauce and small pieces of kabab. For desserts we had chocolate chipper and fruit salad with ice cream .. chocolate chipper was indeed exciting and the fruit salad was okay. The staffs could be lil more warm and friendly as they seem to be very occupied and took our orders very fast. Overall I loved this place mainly because of the ambience and food!

A terrific ambience backed up by wonderful food. Chicken cordon bleu oozes with cheese making it a must try. Not surprisingly sheesha is their speciality. Ideal for a relaxing hangout with an equally beautiful view. Recommend.

Had breakfast from here (Friday). I chose the Al roof Sabahia breakfast and nuggets combo for my kid.
The breakfast included mixed managers (one foot long manakesh operated by 4 different flavors.each of them really delcio and fresh. It also came with a coffee and harra es bao'o .The latter I didn't enjoy much because of the sourness but that probably because I'm trying it for the first time.
Coming to the neggets combo, it had amazingly cooked French fries and a basic packet of juice.frries was the best.

I came to have sheesha alomg with my friends.. and had a good time. Ambience is very good and food 5 out of 5. We ordered batata chicken, tacos pizza and french fries.. i would visit this place again.
Since its opening, I never had dinner at Al Roof, it was always shisha and snacks.
Last night, I tried their Iftar Buffet and I was really impressed. I was prepared to be disappointed but I had one of the best iftar buffets.
The variety was great. The quality and the taste of the food surprisingly amazing!
And the service was top- notch !
The manager took care of the buffet all night and the waiters were ready to serve whenever needed.
I gave a 4/5 review just because their dessert was not the greatest. The taste was great but there was barely any variety.

Came across this place while looking for open-air restaurants (back in Dec when it was the perfect weather to spend the evenings chilling outside). As the name suggests, it is a rooftop restaurant (kind of). It faces the Ajman Beach and the view is phenomenal!! Although we were late for our reservation (Shj-Ajman traffic), we really wanted a table on the outer veranda and the staff were kind enough to ask us to wait for a few minutes while they arranged for it.
After we were done gushing about the view, our server helped us pick our food. We ordered the Al Roof Special Mixed Grill alongwith some hummus and fattoush. The food did not take very long to arrive considering how crowded the place was (crowded as in popular, not cramped). Perhaps it was an effect of having hot food in the chilly weather, but I can say that aside from the lamb, I absolutely loved everything on that platter. And by the way, it was large enough for 6 of us. For desserts, we ordered the Halawat Al Jeben. Since I am not fond of Arab desserts, I gave it a pass. The total came to about 440 which is quite good for 6 people, in my opinion.
Although I would have loved to sit there longer, sipping Moroccan tea perhaps after the meal.. we had to leave. I will visit again this winter though. This time to enjoy the sunset (and also the delicious food). The only drawback this place has for a person like me who cannot stand sheesha, is that it serves sheesha too... so the person at the next table may be sending some smoke your way. That being said, I would STILL give this place a 5/5 just for the amazing ambience and the yummy food. Oh and kudos to the management too!
Went here for my cousin's birthday dinner. None of us had tried the place but it was recommended to us by a friend and we are so happy to have given this a try! The food was great and reasonably priced. We sat on the patio...it wasn't too hot but can imagine how amazing the place would be in the winters. The shisha was good too and definitely would come back here for a relaxing night in the winter. Also, they had a play area for the kids which we appreciated as we had gone with 5 children and could enjoy our shisha and dinner while they were busy enjoying themselves in the play room!
