The best South Indian joint in UAE . This was the most authentic and very rich breakfast !! Perfect crispy dosas with ghee along with delicious idli wada.

Opinion: MTR seems to be very famous across the indian community in Dubai. They also have a great selections of indian delicacies. The Masala Dosa was absolutely delicious served with coconut and spicy sauce on sides. The potato filling inside the dosa was amazing.

This is a good looking restaurant, very neat. Located in busy street of mankhool. Went here in the evening to have masala dosa and coffee. Dosa was crispy and the aloo bhaji inside it was tasty too.

MTR is one of our favorite destination to enjoy great and authentic south indian breakfast. Always consistent and great value.

Delivery took close to 30-35 minutes.

This restaurant never disappoints.

If you have ever been to banglore's MTR? and then you are visiting Dubai's MTR. I am telling Dubai's MTR is one level up then banglore's MTR from where the MTR originated. I like the food here as it has lot of vegetarian options. I had had all other meals before. The mini Tiffin and set dosa were to good. I'd visit again.

The food is very authentic and served warm. The sambhar and coconut chutney are made to perfection. Definitely a great place to visit and enjoy the authentic flavors

Hoggers In Dubai

Having spent some time in Bangalore, i know how epic mtr is and wanted to try the dubai branch as well. Usually at mtr there i used to wait in line to eat the meals. In dxb i tried the benne dosa(butter dosa) and puri bhaji. Butter roast wasn't mentioned on the menu but they do serve.

The butter roast dosa was amazing. It reminded me of the vidhyarthi bhavan style dosa which i have tasted only in Karnataka. I ordered an additional one because i was extremely impressed. I asked them to not put chutney inside the dosa though. Puri bhaji was also good and so was the tea.

But i was very happy to know i can eat the blore style dosas without having to travel there. Great stuff.

Great food!!!! The best indian restaurant in dubai by far. Definitely recommend, a special mention to the staff for being patient with me and explaining each dish in detail.

What i dont like is their sambar is on the sweeter side !!! I decided togive 3 stars but them i remembered the 2 cups of tea i had !!! which was so daaamn good !!! Felt like drinking the hot tea from my most favourite indian coffee hosue back in kerala !!! Highly recommend to try one time !!!

(التعليق الأصلي) Amazing 🤩 … Their khara baath is divine but quantity is too little for one person. I can gobble up two easily. It is a handsome looking dish with a slice of tomato on top. The rava idly tasted great - goes really well with the potato saagu they provide. The masala dosa was the highlight - their signature dish - super duper crunchy outside - you literally hear a crackling sound as you break open through the center and it is soft and gooey inside - just the way it should be. There is a copious amount of ghee that goes into it ( and they provide more ghee to slather on top) - but that’s ok given the super delicious end product - hits the Ghee-spot. I just wish the green mint-coconut chutney that was served with the masala dosa was good - was super excited with the spice level of the chutney but felt there was a slight smell coming from it. Hence we asked for regular coconut chutney instead, which was good. Sambar needs improvement - it was a bit watery. Filter coffee was awesome , and so were the mangalore buns. Overall - superlative experience if you ignore some flaws. Highly recommended, especially for the masala dosa- you cannot get this masala dosa anywhere else in the UAE. It’s distinguishably supreme.
