Small cosy family restaurant, great filter coffee and South Indian snacks.
Healthy food, staffs are good and the service is better. Restaurant clean and neat and prices reasonable. During lunchtime need one more staff to manage the table. Overall good. Perfect south Indian taste. Especially Sweet Pongal highlight.
Both sambar rice and curd rice, tasted soo authentic. And yummy :)
One of best restaurants in JLT area for daily outside eaters. Good, Fresh and hygienic south india food. All staff as well friendly and well mannered. I live in same tower and visit often. I must recommend it if you taking dinner daily outside.
Ananda Bhavan delivered good quality food - well packed and fresh.
I was happy with food quality and delivery time - no spills. Kaapi tasted perfect.

Ananda Bhavan is a place you go to when youre missing the Filter KAAPI and vadai. If youre missing the thair chadam or the rasam, this is the place to head to!! You will definitely not be disappointed. Small place and barely has about 10-15 seats. But the food quality, authenticity and taste pushes all the cons of this place to the back burner. Dont miss out on their value for money meals in the afternoon!
One of the most frequented vegetarian in JLT for a quick soul fulfilling meal. Ghee roast, masala dosa, onion masala dosa are my usual. Best to eat in since the dosa gets mushy when delivered. Sambar could be thicker but overall a quick fix when you just want a simple fulfilling meal. While the interior is simple, this place is clean, comfortable and real.
I have only ordered food from ananda bhavan and have always felt the homeliness of the food refreshing. Not too much salt, or thickening agents in sambar. I do want to note the delivery is usually late. Some days the sambar exceeds my expectation and some days I’m underwhelmed. But I still like the simplicity of the food.
Finally I have found a place where you get the perfect Madrasi food (I hope I’m not offending anyone) the place is just amazing anything you order gives an option to choose mild and spicy that’s really a good thing if you love your food. I really love the attitude of the stuff they are very helpful. We have tried almost all the items in the menu there is nothing that was not good.

Try them u won't regret. Hot off the pan. Big servings Authentic Indian taste. Ur cravings will be packed satisfied. They also packaged it securely making sure not spilled. We ordered Masala Dosa, Poori Masala & the Idli Wada platter between the 2 of us. The chutney & Saambhar served together complimented the meals beautifully. Ending with sweet lemon lassi & rich filter coffee were an ideal end to the meal. Highly recommended!!!🌟

This restaurant serves the best and affordable food. I just loved gobi and paneer manchurian and don’t forget to try mashroom soup here. This place is worth the money, I am fan of Indian food like vada /sambar , masala dosa etc etc this place is new addition to my Indian food list

Been to many restaurants that can serve me the best Pongal in Dubai. I'm saying all big names and all small ones. Didn't leave one option left in search of my Pongal. I found it here. Just conveyed the same today to the owner and staff today eating the last Pongal of the day and there comes a customer in asking for Pongal and all eyes turn to me. I said make your Pongal service 24 hrs a day. Let me come to other dishes.. idli love it before a Pongal and wow idli as mom's make. Chutney.. I'm not a fan of pudina chutney as I'm for coconut chutney and I'm telling you try the pudina chutney as well. Right spices right salt and stuff.. wow. Then comes the coffee after a wonderful break fast and it's our old south Indian filter coffee at its best touch of right sugar and right level of coffee flavor in it. For those looking at lunch option try their special meals.. I love the rasam when it drips down my lips. Payasam at its best. Poriyal I make it a point I carry a quantity home so i can cherish home cooking for a day full without any hindrance to my tummy... Banana at end.. Those of you have tried having a meal in Kumbakonam venkatramana try this and you will feel the Indian soil in all their touches. My granddad used to appreciate immensely the cook in triplicane ratna cafe and give him a reward for the food he makes and what he deserves. Wanna do it here after the one I wanted to do in venkatramana. Overall if you guys are not convinced after this review and bank on some complaints of stuff which is miniscule go ahead sit there and see their service and you will feel your mom is feeding you.. I haven't seen a face being happy to give you sides for breakfast like sambhar, chutney and curries in lunch like this one. Thinnu vazhntha kudumbam review.. so better take it.. And all those north Indians, who wanna try this for south Indian dishes have some patience and grace as well like south Indian people. You will be delighted... Could write an essay as my Sunday was blissful as ever with Ananda's ... But let me leave the rest to you people to try... HAIL ANANDA'S PONGAL ...
