Had the cheese Kunafa and Syrian Dondurma.. it was nice. Liked the decor and setting of the place too. A must visit if one wishes to try Arabic desserts
Arabesq Sweets is located at the basement of Dubai Mall and considered a high end sweet shop selling variety of chocolates, Turkish sweets, Kenafah and ice cream. The service is not very good and bit too commercial. The ice cream is a must try and should be topped with the white cotton candy. This is a million calories recommendation but once you decide to indulge yourself one should go all the way. Recommended for ice-cream
Since 3-4 years it is our favorite place to by Syrian ice cream.
Loads of pistachio, very good, authentic syrian ice cream.
Pricey, but it totally worth it. Get it in a busy days - otherwise if it’s not fresh i can feel bigger ice crystals

Call me biased but it is a rarity for me to culminate my visit to The Dubai Mall without eating Kounafa at Arabesq.
I had first discovered this gourmét Arabic sweets shop as I walked past it and was drawn by the theatrics of a man as he with a very large wooden pestle lookalike pounded into a cavity of a large container. A fairly large crowd had gathered there and I also stood there enjoying the music the man made while pounding in a rhythm and then swirling the wooden apparatus in skilful circular motions from behind him to the front and back again. Not only was this a sight to behold but also It was my first introduction to the extremely popular Syrian hand pounded ice-cream called " Booza ". I will come back to the ice-cream in a later post.
I am a huge fan of Kounafa or Kunafah and Trust me this place sells Kounafa which is my most favourite here in Dubai. The crunchy bite from the pistachios to the fragrant sugar syrup to the gooey cheese everything in this sweet just sweeps me off my feet and takes my senses on a ride of robust aroma and indescribable taste. This is my food heaven for sure. Try Arabaic sweets at this boutique sweet shop and you will be really happy that I told you about this place.

We love the kneife or Kunafa in this place. It is simply delicious! The ice cream and the baklava are also to die for. Whenever you have visitors and you are taking them to see the dancing fountains, make sure to stop here.
I like the kunafa they sell over here. If you’re looking for arabic sweets, this is the place to go to; especially if you need those last minute gifts. They offer several options to choose from.

Have only ever tried their sweets which are packaged so well and are very appealing. The shop itself is artfully done making it look inviting and classy. Wanted to try their ice cream but was already too full by then but the guy showed us how he does it which looked pretty interesting. The sweets are more expensive than in Sharjah, around 25 to 30 dhs more but guess it's cause of the rent at dubai mall. Do try this place out.
I really love their ice cream it's amazing, every time I go to Dubai mall I eat there ice cream.
It's creamy and it doesn't have so many sugar you have to try it

Really loved their ice cream. Ordered mango
Ice cream, which was unique and refreshing. The texture was more like sorbet in the outer layer and chewy in the inside, which i really loved.
I have tried their popular pistachio ice cream, but preferred the mango ice cream more.

Located in the Dubai Mall. They hand-make the ice cream and it is made to order. It is quite a show so be sure to have your camera out. I had the pistachio (not sure if there is any other flavor) but it was so delicious!! Not like anything I have ever tasted. It was so good I finished my first one and came back and got a second one. The shop is so beautiful and just luxuriously decadent. Highly recommend a visit here!
